The staff and owners—especially Mr. Candra and Aldo—are described as exceptionally friendly, hospitable, and attentive, creating a warm, home-like atmosphere. The team responds promptly to requests, such as providing extra towels. Late check-ins are accommodated in certain cases, with staff willing to wait for arriving guests late at night and arrange meals even after the cook has left. However, there was an isolated report where a clogged drain issue was met only with apologies, without the problem being repaired or the guest being relocated.

Guests highly praise the on-site cuisine, noting the delicious dishes and affordable prices. The fried rice for breakfast, fried fish, sweet and sour shrimp, and lobster are especially recommended. Portions are described as very generous, particularly the rice servings. Meals can be ordered directly at the guesthouse, which is convenient given the limited dining options in the Watukarung area; however, it is advisable to place dinner orders in advance.

The guesthouse offers fast and stable Wi-Fi, which is especially valuable given that mobile network reception in this area is often weak.

The air conditioners work excellently and provide powerful cooling—essential in a hot climate—and the water heaters function properly. Family rooms are noted to be spacious and comfortable. It was also mentioned that walkways leading to some upper-floor rooms can be narrow.
