We arrived at 16:00, no receptionist like other guests said so. And the guest house is builting the 2nd floor room. So when we arrived, bit surprised for the under construction building.
However we got one room, which is small than the hotel website photos. (We had look inside to another tenant's room, which is same as the room booking website. )
We try to take shower as early as possible, but no hot water at all.
The fixed window of our small room be given that night, maintain the room temperature being warm all night, and we can see the Bromo Volcano from the room. This is great.
The next day morning, when we checked out, the construction workers asked if we paid for the room, which is ridiculous. But owing to there is no fixed receptionist, this is understandable…
We forced to waiting unti the receptionist who got information to confirm, it took nearly half more hour to wait. Finally, we were allowed to check out, and through the conversation to confirm the payment we found out we were given the wrong room.
BTW, here is not go through the National park offical ticket Gate. So stay here no need to pay the entry ticket.
Extremely good location.
Reasonable price.
Someone from the hotel (i assume) greet us car park on arrival n help with check in.
No hot water in the morning (temperature outside was 14'©)
No dedicated staff available all the time for assistance.
If you have low/medium expectation then you would be fine.
I rented scrambler motorcycle for 250k Rp to go around Bromo.
Restaurants are plenty nearby.

It’s my own experience so it can be different with others but if you’re booking this guest house, there are things you should know.
1. The front desk is empty. I had to wait 40 mins for check-in with a group of other people. Luckily, they were with a tour guide and he managed to talk to someone related to the owner and that guy showed up later. You can already read comments like this so it’s not just once.
2. No hot water. Well, water runs sooo thin it’s not enough for washing your face so don’t even expect you can take a shower. Luckily I brought a wet tissue so I could at least wipe my face.
3. Bed? Bed sheets smell. Toilet too. I’m not that sensitive to smell but well…
4. Cold at night. I slept with my hiking long pants and jack on (with hood covering my head). Maybe this is same everywhere in the village but there is no heating, so this is actually not my main complaint. Do bring some warm cloths to wear for sleeping.
I think it can be better to find a home stay instead of guesthouses.
