Aamzing location, too good service and awesome owner… what else do you need to stay in a calm island like Nusa Penida?
Pros:
• Big, spacious, and clean room and bathroom.
• Within walking distance from the harbour, supermarkets, and many good restaurants.
• Hot water is always available.
• Peaceful, even though it’s located in the center of a busy area.
• Balcony rooms have a nice view of a coconut garden.
Cons:
• Very loud mosque sound every two or three hours until evening.
• Shower water is a bit salty. My skin felt dry all day (though I’m not sure if it was because of the water).
• Very far from main attractions like Diamond Beach, Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach, and Crystal Bay.
• There are no flip flops and water boiling kettle in the room. And I don’t feel good to use shared kitchen as it was not clean and well arranged.
Tip:
I highly recommend staying in this area (Toya Pakeh) only on the last day of your trip, or if you’re planning just a one-night stay at Nusa Penida, because it’s close to the harbour. Otherwise, stay near Crystal Bay or on the east side of Nusa Penida near Diamond Beach.

I absolutely loved everything about this place. It was incredibly clean, peaceful, and calming — the kind of place where you instantly feel at home.
But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the owner. He wasn’t just the owner anymore, he became a friend to me. He took us around the island on his motorbike, showed us places we would have never discovered on our own, and made every moment feel special.
It was an amazing experience that I will always carry in my heart. I’m deeply grateful and I will never forget this place or the people in it. Highly recommended — not just a stay, but a memory for life.
