Pros:
• Big, spacious, and clean room and bathroom.
• Within walking distance from the harbour, supermarkets, and many good restaurants.
• Hot water is always available.
• Peaceful, even though it’s located in the center of a busy area.
• Balcony rooms have a nice view of a coconut garden.
Cons:
• Very loud mosque sound every two or three hours until evening.
• Shower water is a bit salty. My skin felt dry all day (though I’m not sure if it was because of the water).
• Very far from main attractions like Diamond Beach, Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach, and Crystal Bay.
• There are no flip flops and water boiling kettle in the room. And I don’t feel good to use shared kitchen as it was not clean and well arranged.
Tip:
I highly recommend staying in this area (Toya Pakeh) only on the last day of your trip, or if you’re planning just a one-night stay at Nusa Penida, because it’s close to the harbour. Otherwise, stay near Crystal Bay or on the east side of Nusa Penida near Diamond Beach.

Convenient location, near the port, convenient to travel to attractions in the East and West of Nusa Penida island. Surrounded by many restaurants, cafes, and local markets.
The rooms are neat, clean and basic. There is a beautiful, airy courtyard. I really like the atmosphere here.
However, the water pressure on the island is weak. The road to the accommodation is muddy if it rains. Surrounded by houses, there are prayers from very early in the morning.

Cannot recommend this place enough, the staff are so friendly and helpful. They will help you with all your plans, renting scooters, doing snorkelling trips and laundry! So friendly so helpful and proper authentic indonesian hospitality not a tourist trap!

Amazing accommodation, short walk from ferry port.
Owner and staff was super helpful and kind. We hired a bike from owner for 80 for the day.
Aircon worked great and had the best night sleep in the comfy bed! 100% recommend.

Great location near the harbour. The room is simple but you have all you need. You can rent there scooter/ snorkelling trips and so on. Super kind host!

Great location only walking distance from the habour. Clean room, comfortable bed, power sockets in the right places. Very nice staff and owner Tahir. Stay 2 days 1 night here, super convenient, food is just at the front of the street.
Free water, very budget friendly, good Wi-Fi, free water, tea and coffee provided.

Brilliant atmosphere. Cozy rooms.
The owner (Tahir) is an extremely friendly man. He even gave our room free water constantly, rather than the usual 5000 per bottle. And I enjoyed having a few talks with him around the chairs outside.
I've seen other reviews criticizing him for his religious beliefs. Please don't be so absent minded as to judge someone based on that. The hotel is very cheap and very comfy. With air conditioning that cools the rooms well since they're smaller. One of my favourite places in bali.

Super friendly owner Tahir helped us with a super cozy room and cheap scooter rental for our time in Nusa Penida. He was very fun to talk to. The room was very small but comfortable as strong AC and fan and comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and clean linen and towels. Also conveniently close to the harbour for fast boats to and from Bali.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Cute and big rooms with aircon, good Wi-Fi and hot water. The owner is so kind and helpful, we felt very welcome here. You can rent a scooter here or book tours and trips around the island.
