A truly brilliant stay here! We were only in Penida for a short time and yet, the owner and his wife really made our stay a comfortable one.
The rooms were spacious, clean and with everything you could possibly need.
The owner organised a snorkelling trip for us at a good price where we got to swim with Manta Rays — a memory that'll last a lifetime! They were even generous enough to drop us off to the snorkelling office on the back of their bikes at 7.30am.
Will definitely stay here again!

Very welcoming hosts. The hotel is recent. Private terrace in front of the room. The room is clean, large and well equipped (air conditioning, towel rail, desk, bedside table, shower gel/shampoo available). The bed is large and comfortable. BUT, the hot water in the shower is cut off after 5 minutes. AND very noisy because of the cars/scooters, prayers (with speaker), music from the restaurants…

Kadek and his wife went above and beyond to help me during my stay with them, and I am so grateful for their hospitality. They definitely made my stay in Penida feel much more settled and safe, travelling alone.
The room is basic, but beautiful, the bathroom is clean and well maintained with more hot water than I have had whilst island hopping in Bali combined! You can hear some noise to the rooms next door due to the outside nature of the bathrooms. The accommodation is next to a mosque, so take ear plugs, however, I found beauty in enjoying listening to the prayers and immersing myself in their culture.
Thank you for making me feel so welcome during my stay, and giving me lifts to help out when I hurt my foot, including a lift and waiting at the hospital for me.
I would recommend anyone staying in Penida to use this accommodation, it is central to everything you need and a short walk from harbour making it perfect for a short stay on the island.

This place was perfect for a dive trip to Nusa Penida.
It is quiet from street noise (the Islamic call to prayer is not noise to me),
Very close to diving shops (check out DPM), ATM, markets, and great local restaurants.
The proprietor Kadek is great to get to know. He took me out personally on his scooter to see some incredible coastal highlights, and can recommend the best places.
This place is family run, clean, super reasonably priced and perfectly located close to town but quiet. 10 stars ⭐️

The location of the hotel is perfect, walking to harbour, lots and lots of restaurants back to back near by. Specially available awesome indian vegetarian restaurant at 50 m away. The hosts are exceptional people. Really felt treated like a guest. They booked taxi for us at best price when compared. The booked ferry for us and took us to harbour on their own scooties one by one for no money. The place costed also less. I mean its the best.

We chose this bc it’s close to the ferries and inexpensive. It’s unpretentious: just simple rooms near the dock. But the service is where it’s really at. This is the only place where we booked our activities through the hotel because there wasn’t a huge mark up. The owners took us to the ferry on their scooters (for free) so we knew we were going to the right one, bc they booked it and dropped us off there. It was so stress free. There wasn’t a fridge where you could help yourself to drinks and pay via honesty system (rather than the standard chain-it-up at night) and free water refills. Would definitely come back!

We stayed here during our Bali trip and the guest house was very good, the room was very clean and well maintained. It is managed by a couple and they are very caring people, they will arrange whatever you need like day trips, bike for rent etc.

Our stay at Ari La Casa was very comfortable. The bed is great and the room is spacious, too. The bathroom and shower is great of value as well. It is peaceful although it’s near the port. The owner of the guesthouse is very helpful and hospitable as well.
They offer cold towels during arrival and they have motorbike rentals, too. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this place! Such a good location near some lovely restaurants, room was large and very clean, and what we were most grateful for were the amazing hosts. My boyfriend was ill during our stay and the hosts were more then helpful and made us feel very comfortable!

Stayed with them 4 nights and would have stayed longer if they had any open rooms. Owners are so kind and lovely. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. It's definitely on the busier side of area but the guesthouse is towards the inside of the space so you don't hear much of the traffic. Places to eat close and walkable. They helped us book a car for a tour and even drove us to the next guesthouse. Highly recommend staying here if you need/want to stay close to the ferry. Free water refills and coffee/tea is convenient and can also rent a scooter here. Thank you!

It's very near to the Port. The owners are very kind and friendly and will try and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They helped us arrange a bike and also during checkout dropped us and our heavy luggage to the port. Rooms are spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our sty with you. The host are so nice and will help you gladly. It’s really close to the port which was perfect for our short trip.

We had a superb stay, the rooms are very clean and you absolutely get the value for your money. Our hosts helped us book tickets to and from Gili T. We rented bikes from them, and they helped us plan activities during our stay and recommended magnificent places for dinner. I absolutely recommend it.

Very nice experience with this homestay. Nice room clean bed and toilet. Good location witn resturanr and food around. Harbour just 3mins walk. Owner and wife is superb friendly and highly recommended to help local community. Took a tour package and sunset restaurant from them.

We have stay 3 nights. Very nice couple host and very good experience. Walking distance to harbour. Bike rental is available at very flexible mode. Overall very clean and good working hot showder and AC. Highly recommended. Hope my review will help them to bring up rating and have good future businesses.

Super helpful and kind staff, they help you with everything: booking drivers, boats, activities, information, etc… They also take you to harbour by motorbike, which is great.
The hotel is around 7 mins walk from the harbour. The room is basic but has everything you need. Wifi was good, I was able to remote work with no issues. Coffee and tea provided. Great value for money!
There is a mosque nearby which makes loud "prayer calls"… you eventually get used to… but the one at 4:30am can be a challenge… if you have earplugs, bring them.

Not expensive at all, very great place to stay. Rooms clean, can rent scooters here at the hotel very cheap, rooms awesome, and the hosts can help you with booking ferry tickets and snorkel trips! Above and beyond any expectations you will have.
