Casa Fortuna is in one sentence "a home away from home". While goan hospitality is well known the owners Joseph & Fortune & their assistant Mike went out of their way to ensure my comfort. The property is exactly as in the pictures presented, the cleanliness is impeccable & the king size breakfast buffet wraps it all up into one superb experience. Casa Fortuna is located beautifully on a hillside overlooking the ocean a bit off the beaten track & while in Goa on holiday, this can be heaven sent. Thanks guys I truly enjoyed my stay & will revisit you soon.

2 stars for the property and the location, everything is great except the host. Which makes all the difference to your experience. I wouldn't go there again ever, even if it's for free. Had a very bad and humiliating experience with them which I'll never forget.

Did not meet expectations. Poor location. Very clean but nowhere as picturesque as the advertised pictures. High-headed hosts who can't take criticism well and bad mouth the customers who don't like the stay. I do not recommend.

I have just returned from a four week stay at Casa Fortuna, Dona Paula, Goa. The homestay is delightful, the airy rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with lovely views across the bay. However, what made this holiday so very special was the warmth, kindness and hospitality of Fortune, Clive and Michael. They made my first visit to Goa a truly memorable experience. Fortune and Clive were always happy to listen and do anything they could to help me in any practical way by booking taxis and with advice about places to go and to see. Fortune is a wonderful cook, her breakfasts were always varied and delicious. She went out of her way to look after me and my husband and friends who joined me during my long stay. This couple made me feel very special and loved and convinced me that I will come back again and again.

An amazing place to relax and unwind. The views are amazing and the rooms have an old world charm while having all the required features to make one feel enveloped in luxury. The icing on the cake is the authentic Goan food served by an amazing hostess Fortune.

Hotel Casa Fortuna is a homestay that is managed by a couple. The hosts are very friendly. Breakfast is awesome. Rooms are well made with all the amenities. The only issue is the approach road to the hotel. Highly recommended place for people who would just want to relax and laze around. Rent a two wheeler and you are good to go.

Excellent Place to Relax … Homely nature of the Owner Mr. Joseph & his family. Breakfast is amazing… You will never find such breakfast in 5 star property. They really prepared it with lots of emotional attachments with the guests. Everything is crafted here … Right from furniture to linen. Awesome property.

Excellent hosts that make you feel at home. 3 of the 6 rooms have a beautiful view (see photo). Breakfast was plentiful, varied and very tasty. It is not walking distance from the beach, but you do get a lot of peace and quiet.

Beautiful room with a beautiful view. Have all amenities. Really sets a romantic mood. Staff is very sweet and willing to help. Breakfast is nice, especially the sweet dishes. Was difficult to find the exact location. Contact the owner for correct routes.

When I booked here after cancelling at big brand resort, I was not sure except views from room and turns out that views were even greater than what I thought but everything else was amazing too. I found out that our hosts designed and thought out all details themselves and that shows. If you are looking for a home away from home, this is the place.

Although everything is great what I like most is hospitality and care taken by everyone here. Before you ask for help, they already have helped. Views are great from room, sunset were spectacular during monsoon. Perfect "Home" for vacation.

Bad baheviour with guest… mannerlesss takling towards guest… really disappointed… very very bad experience in my life. … first time… discusting… no same treatment to all guest… very badddddddddd experience…

Its an exceptional place. The view is amazing here. The people of this property is so down to earth and their hospitality and services are the best in town. A must place to stay if you are coming to goa. We wish to visit again soon :)

It's a home away from home with good hosts Clive, Fortune and Michael with good food specially the coconut rolls with banana filling.

A morning, sitting on a balcony viewing beautiful beach @ Goa, birds music to ears, breathe fresh oxygen, cup of coffee and when you turn back to your room you're further poised to a personalised 5 star hospitality, bespoke rooms, inviting bathrooms with sea view, warm friendliness and very good breakfast buffet. Evenings! you can just imagine, that was Casa Fortuna to me and my wife this wedding anniversary. You Gotta meet wonderful people Joseph and Fortune! We highly recommend this private place.

If you want to have the experience of a home (and mind you, not 'homestay' which sounds a bit more professional), this is the place! Away from the maddening crowd and yet close to the 'happening' places of Goa (Calangute, Baga, Anjuna, Panjim), located within walking distance of Dona Paula Jetty (and the famous sculptures), this is a place with a stunning view of the sea from the balcony of your room. Clive and Fortune, the hosts, are magnificently gracious (we will remember the cakes that were given to us on our way back as airport snack). Add to this the home-cooked breakfast and the utterly delicious lunch/dinner (on order), again home-cooked. In a state famed for its beaches, this is the place to be … an experience away from the crowd and yet close enough if you feel like dipping your feet in!

Lovely hosts, extremely beautiful rooms and view and, services of a 5 star hotel. Would love to stay again.
