Sumitel Pelling

We stayed in sumitel hotel at pelling. It was an awesome stay. Nice property, great mountain view, good location and great hospitality.

The rooms are hygienic with a very beautiful view but the food is bad. The quantity they are offering for such huge prices is not worth the taste. When I questioned about the quantity and taste the guy who answered the call was rude and said this is how it’s done here. I didn’t feel that’s the right way to talk to your guest. On the other hand, their hotel at Gangtok and lachung were great! This one is not so good!

Good behaviour. Good food. Good service. Good location. Grooming kit should be upgraded, even there are no slippers in their stock. Overall experience is good.

Excellent hotel to stay. Really impressed with the service. Catering staff Akangcha and Deepam were very courteous and provided immediate service without delay. Was very attentive to the instructions. Good rooms. Beautiful view outside. New property. Strongly recommend. Food was satiable catering to different types of taste. Care was taken that fasting people good their required food.

I stayed there for one night. The hotel is average. The room was clean. The bed sheet and pillow covers were not clean. So, after checkin, we requested for change. They changed everything immediately. Otherwise, the stay was comfortable. The food was also good.

Hotel location close to the market with excellent views of Kanchenjunga from the mountain view rooms. Food is excellent and served with warm hospitality. Ms Prajavalika took great care in the restaurant. Front desk needs to improve. Limited functioning of the elevator during morning and late evening hours is an issue. Overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very nice stay at Sumitel Pelling. Excellent service by Sejal and hotel staff. Buffet food had awesome taste and varieties. We were welcomed traditionally to hotel & had comfortable stay for family. We had a nice view from inside the room through window and could see kanchenjunga peaks as well. I highly recommend this place for stay in Pelling.

Beautiful view. Unsurpassable. Can overlook short comings because setting so magnificent. Decent modern clean room, but it was cold in Nov. Space heater insufficient. Would have been nice to take hot shower but poor hot water reliability. Restaurant food was good but disorganized staff. Trying hard but not efficient. All That said, would stay here again for the view.

The rooms views are nice and the staff is courteous. Ms. Sejal at the reception she's very welcoming and she helped us. The view from our room is very beautiful, you can view the Kanchenjunga range from rooms. Other restaurants are walking distance from this place which is an added advantage.

We got the rooms with Kanchendzonga view.
FnB staff specifically Ismiti, Prajhwalika and Prashant were very warm and caring towards my family.
The entire staff over there were very friendly which just boosted us to give this review.
Awesome place would recommend for everyone. Situated in the location where you get restaurants nearby too if you don't want to dine in.

The location of the hotel is very good.
It has friendly and helpful housekeeping staffs, who always have guests' comfort in mind. The room was clean and spacious and was having nice view of Kanchanjanga peak.
The food served to us was really nice and with great gesture. The reception staffs are very sweet and of welcoming nature. I would like to mention one girl Prajwalika, she always smiles and welcomes the guest for Breakfast with her lovely smiles that made our day. Thanks to her. Overall great experience.

Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel, the staff was accommodating, and the amenities were great. The rooms booked.
Was spacious suite, which was beautiful, clean, and perfect view of kanchenjunga hills. I went with my family, and it gave us excellent family-friendly services. The food was excellent and delicious. It was worth the money.
