Pemaling Residency Pelling

Till now, this has honestly been one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Rather than calling Pemaling Residency a hotel, I would say it feels like a home away from home. The hosts are extremely warm, friendly, and caring, and the entire place has such a comforting atmosphere.
The property is run by a lovely couple and their family, and their energy truly makes the stay special. Tenzing, Dujen, and Ankita brighten up the whole place with their cheerful and welcoming nature. In the evenings, we could even hear their eldest son playing guitar and singing Pink Floyd, Beatles, and other classic songs, which created such a beautiful and memorable ambience.
The food deserves a special mention. Unlike typical hotel food overloaded with oil and spices, the meals here were homely, light, and cooked with a soft spice blend and just the right amount of oil. Everything felt fresh and comforting.
Their behaviour throughout our stay was exceptional. Since we were travelling with our little daughter, they helped arrange cars and guided us very sincerely, which made travelling around Pelling much easier for us. My daughter got new friends there.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Waking up to those mountains was an unforgettable experience.
Overall, this place gave us warmth, comfort, music, good food, beautiful views, and genuinely kind people. We would happily recommend Pemaling Residency to anyone visiting Pelling.

Awesome experience with hotel staff. Owner himself is very polite and cleanliness in room and kitchen is awesome. Food quality is amazing. Adviced to stay in this hotel only if you are planning for pelling.

If you want the pure vibe of the mountains with luxury stay and service and ample of space, just go for it. I can't share my experience in words just how great time I have spent there.

The place is run by a couple & their family, their extremely energetic kids brighten up the space further. The food is nothing like a hotels food, their food doesn't drown in oil or get lost in spices, rather made with soft spice blend & just the right amount of oil. I ended up staying there for over a month. On my departing day it felt as though I was leaving my home. I am extremely greatful for the comfort & family like feeling they gave. I would highly recommend staying at this place.

It's in upper peling, and about 5 hrs from baghdogra airport. The road is beautiful. The hosts are running this place for almost 2 decades and if you are in pelling this is a place to stay. The restaurant and rooms have a beautiful touch of architecture, history and tradition. You must must eat local food and local drink. They make it at home. There is a lot to explore nearby and they can arrange transport and guide as well. Their cute sin and daughter both are excellent artists. The son tenzing is very good at guitar and daughter at singing. You may be lucky if the sonikes you, ge may perform for you. Situated in quieter part of pelling. Great hospitality, child friendly place.
It would be extra helpful if you provide a wiper in the bathroom to be used after shower. (Bathroom floor becomes very slippery and a risk of fall, especially with young children).

I had a fantastic stay at Pemaling Residency in upper Pelling. The rooms were excellent – very comfortable and equipped with all the necessary facilities. The food was also a highlight; it was delicious and the portions were generous.
However, the absolute best part of this hotel is the view from the rooftop. Witnessing the majestic Mount Kanchenjunga from there was truly an unforgettable experience.
The staff were also very polite and helpful, contributing to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and definitely hope to visit Pemaling Residency again in the future!

Our stay at Pemaling Residency in Pelling was nothing short of exceptional. The rooms were wonderful—spacious, comfortable, and offering mesmerizing views of the majestic Kangchenjunga range.
The hospitality was truly top-notch, with a great host and staff who went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The food was absolutely delicious, setting a new benchmark for best-in-class dining.
What stood out was their thoughtful gesture of packing food for our early morning journey to the airport, ensuring we had a comfortable and seamless trip.

A feel good environment with the owners and staff taking care of you like family. The food was wonderful fresh and tasty and only makes you feel like home. The owners are doing a great job to maintain and run this property. Location is also a plus point. Go for this property during your trip to Pelling and you would not be disappointed at all.

The plus point of Pemaling Residency is the hospitality of the owners of the property who wouod make you feel like you are at home. Their behavior, their guidance, their food makes your stay a comfort stay. Neatly decorated and maintained right at the old helipad ground with the Kanchenjunga view from the room with fresh home like food — what more can we ask for. You can definitely plan your stay with them and you would have a good experience. Kudos to the owner couple how they are managing everything. Keep going. We would come back soon.

One of our favourite hotels we have stayed at on our trip so far. The family were very friendly, and they helped with advice on sightseeing. If you get a chance to eat at the hotel would highly recommend it, the food was amazing. The hotel is beautifully decorated and we had a great view of the mountains from our window.

Our stay was truly exceptional. The staff demonstrated exceptional support and politeness throughout our time here. Without a doubt, I highly recommend staying at this place. It truly felt like a home away from home. Moreover, the food provided was absolutely delicious.

Nice tiny Hotel. Owner is good and talks nicely to all guests. He has kept nice ambiance. Hotel is clean, Food is awesome and they offer some local dishes and those are delicious.

Rooms: old school, fairly maintained, sizeable.
Services: all amenities are present but don't expect a modern four star hotel.
Hosts: lovely, well-educated and friendly. More points for being music lovers!
