Hotel Norling SK Groups Kanchenjunga View,Pelling

Not sure how people are eating it 5 stars.
1. Not enough staff: every time I came from outside, Noone at reception, you need to find someone.
2. Bathrooms have spillage marks.
3. Horrendous food. Only Maggi was decent.
4. Namesake breakfast : they don't even keep butter with toast, as they have jam.
The view, and the staff they have are good and friendly though. (the two stars I have are for them). Room I got was big.
This is at max a one star property.

Very beautiful location, rooms are very big size and well mentained, behavior of manager Mr Jogesh very very good, and Bidhan also very helpfull, food is ok.

Just couple of days I stayed with my family in this hotel at middle pelling. My personal experience is very beautiful. Specially Maneger Mr. Jogesh and his helping hand Mr. Bidhan their behaviour is so polite and they are very helpfull. Food quality is very testy. Lastly Hotel owner Mr. Kamal also so helpful. I booked single room for my family but due to non availability of family room on the same date he alloted two super deluxe mount view room without any extra charges. Thank you Mr. Kamal for make my trip so beautiful. I highly recommend. 💗💗💗

Rooms are good, but service is very poor. Hotel manager is very irresponsible. He is sleeping till 9 am putting his phone switch off and locked the main door. You can’t order a tea or go outside or check out. What if some emergency occurs?

The hotel room has beautiful views you can see Kanchenjunga mountains. Room has bit dusty. Food service is good.

I really had a bad experience with the hotel. The way I entered 1st thing came in my mind when I m leaving this place. Though we have booked it from tour and travel guy and we have checked the hotel rooms online as well but what we have received was disaster. The hotel took me back into 90s.
1. Rooms were not clean (Shady and Clumsy).
Used stinky bed sheets.
Used stinky blankets.
Dirty/Dusty Carpets.
2. Breakfast was pathetic not aligned properly. They called you for breakfast and table and food won’t be available. The kitchen was horrible. Once you done eating you need to put your plates on the floor.
3. Don’t go with Google images if they will say balcony view please checkout the balcony picture I have uploaded.
I’m surprised how can this be a 4.5 rating hotel.

One of the best hotel. Me with my parents stayed in hotel Norling in 2023 March. It was great experience. Love the room, staff behaviour, food, ambience. I would like to stay again in that hotel whenever I will go to pelling.

One of the worst hotel ever visited worst service, bad unclean and unsterilised rooms our room had many spited spots unclean bedsheets bad toilets whose door doesn’t lock and no toilet papers and soap for handwashing and water is as cold as ice itself and the geyser doesn’t even work at start and after called their service for 4-5 time it start working but still the water was cold, their insulation of the room was really bad the room was as cold as the outside, their food was bad, they only had 4 people for everything, their heater was very small and didn’t even work properly and to top it all of they gives good reviews for their hotel with fake account don’t trust their good reviews truly one of the worst hotel ever visited their hotel is a money hungry guy just for delaying a little bit they charged us 4.5k extra not even a little cooperative definitely never visiting it again and I definitely not recommend any other guy to visit again this hotel is symbol of fake peoples worst worst hotel ever.

We had a very pleasant stay for 3 nights with our pet dog. We booked 2 super deluxe mountain view rooms. The rooms were very spacious with balcony. Polite and helpful staff.

We visited this place and stayed in the hotel Norling for nine days. Stay in a hotel will be comfortable depending on three factors.
1. Location.
2. Hospitality.
3. Service including food quality.
We have no hesitation in saying that in all these points hotel Norling has scored full points.
We were highly satisfied when we could see Kanchanjungha from our room itself.
Wish we could visit this place again.

Rooms are good with excellent view of the mountains. Could have been cleaner in some parts, it was colder inside room (not insulated properly). Restaurant is not great, only poori and bread for breakfast.

We had an excellent stay there. Kanchenjunga can be seen from the balcony if weather is clear. Rooms are very spacious and well maintained. Except for the issues we faced because our travel agent it was great experience. It is in good location also. The complimentary breakfast was really tasty.

The hotel has excellent location, rooms and service is immaculate. Only negative point and a big one, is that they don't have electricity backup. Guests stay in the dark with candles. Seriously should be improved.
