Familyd behaviour, homly and friendly and the view is awsome from terrace and 1st floor. Very familiar and homly. Service is good free Wi-Fi and free hot is available.

Helpful and friendly host family really makes it. The rooms are spartan, but everything worked including Wi-Fi and hot water. We were in the end room on first floor, right above reception, with river view. This may be the nicest room, at least in winter, in summer it may be too hot. And it's on top of the Wi-Fi router. Guesthouse has convenient location, although a fair way from any road, you can wiggle a bike through though. The balcony is good for picnics and laundry, but you have to be careful to put everything more than a monkey arm length from the wire mesh. I don't know why the monkey took my pants, but the hosts recovered them. Little courtyard can be nice to sit in. Rooftop is bare, but ok for evening yoga. No food, but good cheap cafes nearby. Although Wi-Fi was good, onward connection to Internet was awful in peak times, but same by other links, so it's a city problem, not the guesthouse. Ditto the frequent power cuts: the guesthouse has battery backup for essentials.

It is very good. It is near pandey ghat, so I can walk gaht very easily. Also GH family was very kind and nice. When my freind lost smart phone, owner of GH helped like his own work.

Hi this is a very nice family guest house, with a nice view of the Ganga and good location near nice cafes and little local family restaurant. This place is everything a backpacker looking for, clean, good price, friendly people and, quite place to stay, near Dashashwamedh Ghat and five min walk to Manikarnika Ghat. Enjoy Varanasi.

I loved this guest, because of the treatment I was given and how clean it was. Right at the entrance has a very quiet courtyard where you can grab a tea and exchange experiences with other travelers; far from listening to the noise and chaos of varanasi, despite being very close to the best known gahj.
