Great location. Friendly staff.

➜ Average value for money. Please note that breakfast is indicated but there is no breakfast anywhere. Package for a triple room and I found a double. When I arrived I was in the uncleaned room. Being a self check-in there was no one to talk to. The only good thing is the location, a few meters from the church.

This is hands down the best place to stay in Reykjavík and I’ve traveled here a few times and stayed at both hotels and BnB’s — nothing compares to the warmth of Our House which really is your home away from home. The house itself is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and has everything you need. The bathroom also has a sauna (! ), and the rest of the facilities (kitchen, toilets, reception area, laundry, etc) is equipped with everything you need. Stay here if you can — it’ll be a highlight of your trip to Iceland if you do! Also, the location is absolutely perfect. You’re 2 mins away from the coolest shops in Reykjavík including Sandholt cafe which is a must-visit for brunch or lunch.
