Has a grumpy old owner but the staffs are god tho. The rooms looks a little bit scary. Some spot of the room has Wi-Fi. TV doesnt work.

Rooms are small. Very helpful and nice people.

Wonderful place to stay. Clean, friendly staff, and a great location!

Most importantly the rooms are safe and comfortable, I got a really good sleep here. We actually had a small but functioning kitchen and the rooms were always warm. Fresh towels were provided daily even though we never requested them and that was a nice touch. It's not 5 star but doesn't pretend to be either, it is what it is. After reading some of the more negative reviews about this hotel I have to say that for me and my experience I have found most of the complaints ill founded and unfair. If you're after luxury you have to pay for it, if you are looking for good honest value which is comfortable and safe then this hits the mark. It's also in a great location too.

Suitable for the price. No tv. Sandpaper towels from air drying. The shower door kept falling off. Shower big enough for a tiny person. Had an odor that never went away.

This is a simple, basis accommodation. Meets your needs to a place to shower, sleep and relax. My five stars are for the staff. The owner was super funny. I had a conversation with him each morning. Topics ranged from President Trump to Iceland's no tipping policy to my day. The German gal at the desk in the afternoon noticed it was going to be my birthday the day after I left. How incredibly sweet. Thank you, AdaM Hotel for a memorable experience. :)

Simple but in the room. There is a full apartment I with oven Micro waves toaster plates cutlery glasses so a real saving x eat here no less than 40 50 euros a pp.

Older, but very close to every thing within walking distance. Tiny rooms, walk up. On third floor with luggage is a problem.

Had a very brief 8/9 hour stay — and it was wonderful! I arrived (very) late — about 2 AM — and the receptionist was pleasant and very helpful and really helped to make me feel welcomed. Same with the other two staff members I came in contact with — the AM gentleman called an airport transfer for me because I had neglected to secure a spot 24 hrs in advance. Every staff member was above and beyond helpful! Stayed in the 10 bed ladies dorm both it and the bathroom were very clean despite every bed being filled! Shower water was hot, linens were very nice (duvet my favorite part). Breakfast was tasty — although I did not purchase their package — bought a Skyr (yogurt), happy marriage cake, and latte was plenty! A couple constructive criticisms: I do wish it had been easier to secure a lower bunk — had tried to email my request and when I got there… no request was mentioned. I didn't honestly inquire about it, it was late and not the end of the world, I'm a larger sized lady and a lower bunk would have created considerably less noise and I would have needed to turn on the headboard light to make the bed. Although, I was pleased that the beds are very sturdy and had little to no wobbling as I scaled to my designated mattress. The towels could be a larger size and maybe come with a small wash cloth as well. Other than that — wonderful! Thank you for helping my amazing visit to your lovely city even better!

I would rate this hotel a zero except the sheets were clean and we did sleep through the night. The bathroom had such a dogusting smell coming from it that we couldn't go in. We brushed our teeth in the sink provided in the "kitchenette". Nooooo insulation, we heard everything our neighbors did when they arrived home at 5am. However the location was great, I will not recommend this place.

Staff are very friendly and understanding. Although check in is at 2 they will let you hang in the kitchen before then if you need a snooze or nibble. Rooms were clean, warm, and secure Great area for exploring too!

This place is a little cheap but the staff is welcoming. Gives a great opportunity to park on the cathedral gratis and it's 30m away. The breakfast (not included) is enough if you're not too demanding. The price is a bit over the average there around.

Excellent location. Just what you need. A place to sleep and clean up. Great coffee shop downstairs.

Hands down, one of two best hostels I ever stayed. Staffs, are friendly and super knowledgable. I mean they are genuinely trying to help people, I am referring to N & E during my stay in mid Oct. The rooms are clean and secured. And this hostel is "Green" certified and fyi, they're not easy to achieve. Highly recommended!

I stayed in Downtown Hostel for a week and it was amazing! Got to meet nice people and the place in itself was a great crashing spot between visits. Also, the staff was really nice and friendly.
I'll definitely come back there on my next trip to Iceland!

Hotel too expensive for a cohabitation which is not mentioned have the reservation. Obsolescence and bathroom which is with the toilet. A shower curtain separated the toilet from the shower which measures 50cm to 1 m maximum. I will not recommend despite the location of personnel.

Bad service, not really a Hotel. Clean sheets.
