Hotel is in the center of Reykjavík. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay at Apartment K. I stayed there on two separate occasions. Room has a kitchenette with a dishwasher, cooktop, refrigerator and clothes washer/dryer.

If you book a room here, they take a part of the money as guarantee but if you cancel (the cancelation was for free) they don't refund the money and stop answer the mail.
Luckily I did it with Booking and tell them the situation and they return my money back.
Be careful. Very irresponsible and impolite with costumers.

Highly recommended absolutely lovely place to stay everything you could need here spotless clean and very comfortable. Staff are very helpful and friendly will definitely be returning.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you want to sleep. We stayed here for 2 nights. Room is ok and chief selling point is that location is good for visiting Reykjavik. However there is also a NIGHTCLUB with hundreds of people a few feet from your apartment (they are outside into the street) from which will blast music from 9pm until 4am and they may as well be in the room with you. If you have kids with you or if sleeping is something you may want to do from time to time go somewhere else!

Great staff, wonderful personalized service, adorable room with numerous amenities refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, tea kettle (with coffee, tea, and sugar), pots, pan, utensils. Amazing value.

Although the credit card was deposited only as a deposit for any damage (common practice), 300, 000 ISK were debited. The hotel acknowledged the error by phone and promised a refund. Wait for 3 weeks for the money. No refund was reported, according to credit card companies.

Comfortable, clean and nicely decorated apartments right in the very heart of Reykjavík. Very fast check in (and we came around midnight) and check out. It was very noisy outside on a Saturday night, and pretty quiet inside. No complains of any kind. Will come back in a week.

Overall a nice stay. I kind of wish I would’ve stayed here longer but I just booked it for one night. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was awesome. Those are my main two highlights with hotels. I heard people talking in the next room but I slept fine. If you’re a light sleeper maybe not for you. A+ location though!

Self sufficient apartments — perfect location in the thick of the action in Reykjavik. Reasonably priced and always felt safe and warm for those worried about staying in the Winter. Cool joint.

If sleep is your lowest priority then you won't mind staying here. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable. It is located just of the main street. This is a plus for exploring the city and most tours will pick you up near by. The problem we had was with the noise. Many people are leaving early or coming in late because of flights meaning the only quiet times are between 2am-4am. You will also hear street noise if you leave the windows open. We were constantly being woken up by people coming in and out of the apartments. The walls are so thin you can hear other people's bathroom movements and conversation. Most nights we averaged 4 hours of broken sleep. I spoke to reception but as they were fully booked they could do nothing for me. Another point to note is the apartments blind's do not keep out any daylight, so with near all day round daylight in summer, it is difficult to sleep (if you like dark conditions to sleep in). I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed on February-had only stayed on February-February to due-weather factors to-change the Trip, set the February 19. On the ' the ' and ' next day ', the hot water in the ' bathroom is not hot enough. As a result, the service staff only said which all of the rooms were full, which could not solve we problems and did not give Any compensation.
We really can not be accept this. We check-in on February 18, originally only February 18 and February 20, because the weather factors were forced to change the itinerary, more scheduled February 19. The first day and the next day the room bathroom hot water is not hot enough, the result of the service staff only said that all rooms are full, unable to solve our problems, nor to give any compensation, we really can not accept.

Check in was easy, and they helpfully held onto our bags before checking in so we could explore unhindered. Our room was cozy. We were initially surprised at the glass door on our bathroom but I don't think that is unique to this one hotel in Iceland. Only problem was that our room overlooked a street that was *very* noisy Saturday night. We got very little sleep before the wee hours of the morning, and then only after turning on white noise playing from my phone.

Home today after the most amazing trip to Iceland. Couldn't have picked a better base with Apartment K. Perfect location as over the road from Bus Stop 6 where all of our excursions picked us up from. Staff were very helpful but left us to our own which we loved. We booked a deluxe room which was spacious enough for us and decoration was modern yet a little quirky which is something we look for as apposed to your standard chain hotel. The staff are so friendly, professional, and helpful. The building is very clean and modern. Our apartment was AMAZING. It was spacious, modern, had fast Wi-Fi, and a full kitchen. We wanted to move into our apartment we loved it so much! I would highly recommend Apartment K! Stay here!

Convenient, cozy, but on the night of Fri on Sat it was very noisy.

Nice structure in the center. Still new, but a little worn. Little assistance at the reception, and inattentive in the reception, they forgot the towels.

I give 4 stars, and that is to the crew/staff for allways being helpful. They do their best to satisfied their customers. It could be a 5stars if the Apartment was cleaned, and the floor was fixed. I'm coming back later, and expects they have get rid of this problem then.

Great place to stay. + The staff were courteous and very helpful. + The room was clean and spacious. + Rooms come with washer/dryer combo unit (dryer doesn't work great, but clothes can be hung on the towel warmer for a quick dry) Bring liquid fabric softener if that's your thing, it will help when you have to hang your clothes to dry. + Rooms have an efficiency kitchen with a dishwasher. The freezer actually kept ice cream frozen, unlike so many hotel freezers out there. — The appliances are not intuitive to operate (we had to download a user manual for the microwave/convection oven combo unit). + Location is perfect for Reykjavik. Close to shopping, restaurants, and night life. Most tours will pick you up at the front door as well. — The rooms don't have great ventilation, so open the windows when you take a shower. — The bathroom door is glass, so it doesn't do much as a door. — Wash cloths are not provided so if you use them, bring your own. Tips: Bring a sleeping face mask if you're staying in the summer. Bring something to make white noise, or earplugs if you want to sleep on the weekend. Parking is free on the street on Sunday.

We had a great stay at the apartment room H1, the staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment we had was lovely, spacious and easy access to all the places in the city or harbour. The only downside of the hotel I would have to say is there's no room cleaning services, cleaners only come on 3rd and 7th day of your stay to clear the bins. But overall, it's a cosy place to stay in the capital.

Perfect apartment… clean and equipped with every comfort. Especially the kitchen. A flaw is missing a table on which to eat.
