Helpful staff, close to everything, clean room really good price :)

The accommodation is greatly located, at about 30-40 minutes of walking from the Danube and about 3 minutes from the metro station.

I'm at the East Station de luxe apartman right now and this place is awsome in so many ways. Maybe people would be put off because of the parking but that's also easily solved. I definently reccomend!

I had a great stay at Hobar; it has a perfect location at Central Budapest with a variety of dining options across the street and offers basic and tidy units for budget friendly prices.

Very cheap. Very friendly people appear to be running it. Had my room ready early. Room is very basic. This is not a hotel. It’s a hostel. Shower very strong. Very clean all round. Bed very basic.

The location was a real asset, close to the metro station and some attractions. The staff was really kind and ready to help us. The room was generally well maintained and clean.

Simple accommodation, amazing location. Stayed in the woman-only shared room and I had no problems. Lockers in room available.

Very nice hostel. Everything is clean, very few carpets, which means few parasites. All the laundry smells like fresh wash. A complete wet cleaning was done before us. High ceilings.

Lovely small hostel right in the party area of Budapest! 1min walking from famous Instant/Fogas ruin pub and also close to Szimpla :) The small rooms have air conditioner in it and they offer towels.

I stayed here for one night in bauhaus and truly appreciated the owner’s kindness and patience.

Lovely top floor view of the city, though there were dead, and half moving flies littered everywhere — in the carpet, inside the coffee table, and also across all of the window sills.

The Black Dog is a good hostel to stay at the beds aren’t the comfiest but what can you expect from a hostel. Even with the best not being great it makes up for it in every other aspect.

It is a good long term hostel for at least a week of stay. For a relatively cheap price. The place is big and situated in the heart of the city.

I will probably start with the fact that the experience in this hotel was really good, my friends and I often spontaneously travel to different countries and in a short period of time we are looking

The hostel has very clean and pretty rooms. We took a private 3-bed room with attached bathroom. The host was very friendly and pleasant. He helped us with booking city cabs for commute.

Honestly not as bad as other reviewers made it out to be. A quirky experience, yes, but not terrible.
To be clear, this hostel is located in a typical old apt.

Really LOVELY and Family Vibe Atmosphere! Its a small HosteI with three rooms, 25 people. I stayed 1 week and I had such a nice experience.

It's in the center, and absolutely worth the price (but only if you're an uncomplicated traveler bc the matrasses are old etc.

Really nice place. Every Tuesday is half price day. The cocktails are amazing, in a jug or cup as well. French fries with cheddar is the best.
