Aventura Boutique Hostel Budapest Hostel

I had a great stay in Aventura boutique hotel. They’re staffs were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our journey. The location of he hotel is very central, which makes it easy to travel around.
Also, this is the cleanest hostel I’ve ever been to. Would recommend it to those who are on budget but are OCD (Like me) x.

Good value. Private room better than most hostels.

If you had a coffee and tea, it would be super!

Pros. Their stuff. Vicky the receptionist is a very helpful and sweet young girl. It was clean and calm, on a nice non-touristy street with just 3 min walk to Nyugati metro, 10 min to Oktogon metro. It takes 25 minutes by walking to get to Szeczenyi Bathes and Vajdahunyad park via Podmanicky Street. If you want to go towards Vorosmarti Square as a meeting point of many city tours and the riverside to take a cruise you may want to take your left towards St. Istvan Avenue, cross the road and walk via Nagu Ignac and Hold utca towards the Budapest Eye and the square itself. It will take you some 15 minutes by walking. There was a mini market and a small Turkish canteen with nice food on the corner. Cons. It was a problem to find it without having an offline map. One lady gave me a wrong direction. The street is very long so if you make a wrong turn like I did you 'd have to walk pretty much a lot to reach the destination. The hostel sign is rather small. And their cleaner thrown my sweatshirt I forgot as I was tired. Just a procedure, still I had some bad feeling after. As a conclusion, I can definitely reccommend it for everyone. But I dont think I would choose to stay there one more time.

These people do not know the meaning of the word hospitality. The receptionist is akin to an unhelpful stepford wife. I do not recommend you attempt to sleep here as insane people will keep you up screaming at you or listening to loud pop music, thus preventing you from sleeping through the night even whilst wearing earplugs. There is no option even to get a coffee. This place is terrible. For masochists only.

May 2018 Today Kyoto Suess reviewed Aventura Boutique Hostel Budapest – 1 star Every second person snores somewhat. This is a fact. However, at Aventura snoring is banned. Should you dare to snore in the "African room", a large black woman will set upon you, screaming like a maniac, shake your bed, and bang on the partition at regular hourly intervals, thus effectively preventing you from sleeping. After torturing you by actually not allowing you to sleep they then claim its totally normal for guests in the dormitory to torture you further, by listening to inane american slager music at high volume. Should you dare to complain, merely asking politely for the guest to be asked to use headphones or go to the communal area then you will be vilified and ignored. These people are insane and do NOT know the meaning of the word hospitality. This place is a Horror Story. For masochists only.

Aventura boutique hostel is an amazing hostel in Budapest, very clean and quiet, but at the same time you have the chance to meet many people. The staff is always there to help and to suggest you places to go. Also the location is perfect, 2 mins from Nyugati! really reccomended.

Good value for money — close to the tramlines that bring you to the inner city / main tourist attractions. Also you will find some very nice breakfast places nearby.

A little small and noisy the beds.

The rooms are really nice and spacious and they even offer free postcards to guests. In the room we stayed in, the floor creaks and made alot of noise at night. Also, we got complaints from the staff that our alarms woke people up, which was beyond our control as we needed to wake up and they weren t loud anyway. We forgot some items and the staff held to them until we could go back for them. It is not for people seeking an athmospheric hostel though.

Great area. So many cheap restaurants and cafes in this northern part of the Pest side. Friendly staff, and quite accommodating for anything you need.

The staff are friendly, it's located very centrally, and it's just a nice place to be. I would highly recommend it for anyone going to Budapest on a bit of a budget. Would give six stars if I could.

The transportation is good, the interior is well decorated. Even though the shower and bathroom was small I would recommend it.

One of those small and well managed hostels where you do not want to leave. Many pepople here had extended their stays because of the value and fun atmosphere. I am going back at the end of my travels… cannot wait.

Great value. Safe, clean and friendly. Close to great coffeeshops, bars, restaurants, bakeries, the jazz club, and mass transit. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 7 nights here from 3/7~3/14 2016, awesome experienced in africa room and india room. Bed: Individual single beds with real mattresses, not bunk beds. I wake up pretty late so I'm around when the staff does housekeeping, and I watched them change everything, pillow cases, bed sheets, the duvet (warm and comfortable), and they put a big cover to cover over all the beds to keep dust off of your freshly made bed until you arrive. The mattress sits on top of a real and heavy wooden bed, with 2 really big wooden storage underneath the bed, I had no problem storing 2 carry on luggage into ONE of these (the other storage I kept for snacks) and they let me borrow a padlock for a deposit of 10 euros. Location: In a relatively local and none touristy area, so expect office buildings, banks, dental offices, supermarkets, and restaurants that locals go to. I ended up getting a haircut (english speaking salon), going to 3 authentic foreign restaurants, going to 2 banks and ernst & young, which are all 5-7 min walk away from Aventura. Transport: Underground major subway stop Nyugati pályaudvar is 3 min walk from here. Overground is Budapest's Western Railway Train station, you can also take the railway MÁV to the airport (cost a bit more than if you took the subway and 200E bus).

Great place — especially for young people — and staff are so friendly and helpful. Also it's located in a great place and the atmosphere in the hostel lets you feel like being in your own house. I would definitely visit it again in the future!

We've been renting apartments here for 3 years in a row now and we recommend the place for everybody that goes to Budapest. Superb service, great location, very affordable and the owners are dedicated to the well being of their guests. They helped find french speaking baby sitters and found one within an hour. The Family Appartment is awesome for travelers with kids. Well equiped, comfortable, have all you need: stroller, baby bed, toys. Kudos to Àgnes and Attila, the owners.

Best hostel in Budapest. With shared kitchen and small living room for feeling like at home. And the location is cool also, 15 min walking from the center. Staff is very kind. In general I would highly recommend it!

I spent 3 nights there. This place was nice, quiet, with an original decoration. The area around was quiet as well, and good located, indeed, near from the Nyugati Train and Metro Station, a big commercial center, many pubs and restaurants, and the Danube as well. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast was always served at the good moment :).

It's a great hostel, one of the best I got to see in the city (and I tried out quite a few of them! ). The staff is friendly, everyone here provides great tips on things to do in Budapest (check the big board after the entrance! ). I also like the design of the hostel, which is both nice and creative (and gosh, these great Budapest flats from the 13th district better check them out! ). More than great value for your money.
