Unity Hostel Budapest Hostel

Excellent for young guys who work are late and help you in all doubts breakfast is simple and for the price is very good choice.

I got bitten by flees or bed bugs so many times I couldn't even sleep. Definitely avoiding this place! Hostel at Király utca 60 3rd floor!

I've met some amasing people there, service was good and beds are fine.

Don't go!
Super loud! There is a bar just downstairs and they play music until 7:00am! They did not refund and they told us we should have checked the reviews… SERIOUSLY?
I stayed in many hostels all around the world, also with bars inside, but it had never happened to me!
Again… DON'T GO.

Close to the centre and good atmosphere.

We came to the hostel very tired and just searching for a place to stay. The receptionist, who does speak English poorly, has offered a good deal, really low price. We have confirmed it four times with her to be sure that she means it.
When we started filling up guests book, we just said "Sorry guys, I counted it bad, the price will be double". We have thought, well, anyway we'll take it. When we started counting money, she again changed her mind, the price has become triple!
We have lost our mind, it is not a way to treat a customer!

Nice hostel close to the city centre. Rooms are nice and clean and the hostel has a modern feel to it. Staff is really friendly and helpful.

If your ever in Budapest this is the place to stay! Great atmosphere, amazing staff I would recommend to everyone.

One of the family maintained hostel. Positive — Big rooms, spacious bathrooms, and close to nightlife. Negatives — too hot in summers, WC latches are faulty. Over all comfortable and warm stay.

Unity hostel is a very comfortable place to stau. The staff is nice, the rooms are cosy. There's an excellent and clean bathroom, and there's a cute lounging area where you can sit through the day. Furthermore, the unity hostel has a top location, right in the center and near the nightdistrict.

Staff is very friendly and hospitable. Great vibe between guests. Unfortunately one night I was eaten alive by bed bugs, but was then given a refund for my stay.

Good staff, great location.

Over all, its a good hostel. Stayed there for one night, its clean and quiet, not a party hostel if thats what you are looking for. Showers were not on the same floor which was a bit annoying but besides that most of it was good. Location is perfect, and very helpful staff.

Basic but pleasant, the staff were friendly and the utilities adequate. The only issue is that the front door is somewhat hidden away and quite easy to miss.

Great staff, breakfast provided, rooms quite hot but a very fair price.

Serves the purpose. It is very well located and connected to the city. It has the very basics, but don't expect more than that.

I've been meaning to write this review for awhile. I came here last October (2015) and really the place, the staff, the city, and the people I met still hold such a special place in my heart! I really loved my experience and it wouldn't have been the same without staying here. Krisztina, I believe that was her name, (and her child) were so friendly and amazing. Would stay again. Loved Budapest!

This hostel seems to be split into multiple parts, one being the same building as reception, which looked nice with a chilled out friendly atmosphere. We however weren't staying at this part of the hostel, and instead were taken on a 5 minute walk to a completely different building. The receptionist was friendly and it was good of her to walk the guests over to this other building. The building we stayed in was fine, but certainly not as nice as the building the reception is in. The room was actually very comfortable and the building itself was quiet (it has other residents in, so it isn't like a typical hostel were the whole building is somewhat crazy). If I stayed again I'd make sure I got a room where the reception is located if possible.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Free towel! The location was really easy to find and central. It could use some more electrical outlets in the bedroom.

Such a good hostel, in a really nice building, with helpful, friendly and pretty staff. I'll come back, for sure.

Central location but a little worn and by neighbors, one must be very quiet as of 10: 00.
