Regency Suites Hotel

Everything was provided and everything worked. You get a balcony so small you can't step out on it. It's really worth about half the price I paid but it is in Georgetown if that is an excuse, considering that the Marriott in town was asking $473 for a single room for one person per night. Ouch.

The location of the hotel is in a noisy street that's less than desirable if you're traveling solo. Don't go walking around.
The room had an old musky smell, old carpets that clearly haven't been cleaned properly in decades, and the bedsheet had several strands of hair, which led me to believe that they weren't washed properly. There was cobweb under the table. Anf I saw a small roach scuttle into a crack in the wall in the bathroom. Needless to say, I'll never stay there again.

The rooms were clean, comfy, spacious, and air-conditioned, but the bathrooms need to be redone. It's decent for the money.

Great hotel in town walking easy to get around very nice people.

I visited because of my cousin's funeral. I love the art design in the roof of my room. The bed was excellent, blanket and sheet, towel, wash cloth and hand towel too was clean and white. Everything seems new. The refrigerator work well, I had iron & the iron board. ** the foot of the bed need a mat. Miss Paulette accomadated us and went above and beyond. We had breakfast, one of guyanese special, bake & salt fish.

We booked the hotel for Friday and didn't reach the until about 3am. They made it up for us by letting us stay beyond the 12pm on the day we were leaving. Thank you all. I will stop there again. The counter in the kitchen was nice, with cup, plate, silvers, and a kettle. 1 week, customer service were very good. The security was very pleasant.
The only problem was the shower, were the water was not coming full.

A beautiful view of the city. Good ac rooms. In this country, ac is very important. I love this place.

First time staying at the hotel. Staff’s were polite, hotel accommodation was well kept overall experience 10-10. Definitely will recommend to my friends and family.

I can't speak on the rooms, since I was only there for a training session at the conference hall. But the place feels like it's stuck in the 80's with the interior design, which wouldn't of been a bad thing, if it was maintained properly. They seriously need to invest in upgrading the interior.
Oh, and the food is awful.

Being in Georgetown for just 3 days we thought this was the perfect location for our stay. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful with directions around the town. The food at the restaurant was good also. We ate breakfast and lunch there once. It is convenient to some locations like the Stabroek market, City mall and a short taxi ride to the big Giftland mall. We were a bit disappointed that the pool was closed, and we hope that it will reopen soon. Do not expect much of a night life here as it is very quiet which worked out well for us.
We wish we had packed some flip-flops to wear in our room since the floor was not carpeted as hotels are in the US. The AC worked well, and the beds were comfortable also.

I must say Regency suits hotel it's an highly recommended hotel in georgetown guyana customer service on point and the food it's out of this world. Chef Rawlan of Rawlan Gourmet house from Trinidad 🇹🇹 say so, try them out today.

The accomodation is very great.

My first trip to Guyana. I stayed at the Regency for 1 night. The hotel clerk was welcoming. The porter was helpful and honest. Safety protocols were posted but not all was done. Temperatures were checked, hands were sprayed but luggages were not sanitized. Someone was not always at the door to perform these duties. Rain poored and water started to come into the lobby — they did have someone to clean up in a timely manner. My friends and I got breakfast which did not turn out well. The waiter was patient but the food was not the best. I had the Canadian breakfast: pancakes and eggs. The pancakes tasted like it was going bad and I only had the eggs. None of us was able to finish our breakfast. I probably would stay there again but would go outside or bring my own food.
