Stayed at Millenium Manor September 2024. Our room (7) on the 1st floor, accessed by steep stairs, was tired and musty smelling. When we arrived it seemed as though they tried to mask the smell with air freshener, which soon wore off and hence the musty smell. The brown carpet on the floor is tired and needs changing. Floor tiles and a rug would be much better. A couple of pictures on the walls would enhance the drabness of the room. Having had a bad experience at another GT hotel I had the foresight to bring my own bed linen (sheet and pillow cases). The bedding provided was old and stained. A microwave and fridge is provided but no kettle. There was also a cracked pane of glass in the window of the room. The wash hand basin had no plug the toilet seat moved when sat on. The wiring for the hairdryer seemed suspect so didnt use it. The shower curtain was stained. Didn't have breakfast there so cannot comment. The AC worked OK, as did the ceiling fan, however, a couple of the bulbs were not working properly. I would not stay at this hotel again, facility not worth the price charged for 3 nights. The positives are walking distance to stabroek market, White castle fish shop is nearby. The staff seemed OK. The owners need to up their game.
Firstly, you get what you pay for, you pay for 3 stars, don't expect 5 stars, there is no lift, but the stairs are wide and easy to navigate and there are ground floor room options. I have stayed at this hotel on 4 occasions, its about a 10 minute walk from Starbroek market. The rooms are comfotable and clean with a safe, the air condition cools very good, there is a mini refrigerator and some rooms have a microwave option. The water pressure in the shower is good as well as the hot water. The customer service is good and there is a basic breakfast, which is fairly okay. The proprietor is an honest person and he ensures that guests needs are met, on my last stay, I have a boooking issue and it was speedily and favourably resolved. On the flip side, daily housekeeping has to be requested and I believe that on my last stay on the 9-11 August, 2024, the sheets were not changed, reason for this statement is that I saw hairs on the sheet that was not my hair, if sheets are not changed for new guests, that is unacceptable, but I am certain that if management has sight of this comment, it would be immediately addressed. I will continue staying staying at this hotel when in Guyana, it is convenient location, fairly priced with good serviceand friendly staff and there are mini bus and taxi transport options.

Decent hotel for a short stay in Georgetown. Surrounding area doesn’t have many restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant which is quite mediocre but staff are super nice and rooms are clean and have a warm shower which is not always the case across Guyanas. Recommending for 1-2 night stay in Georgetown.
