Beautiful property in downtown Coban. The property is quite pretty, with a tree growing in the plaza. Breakfast was included and was quite good. The staff care about their guests. Free parking.

Our stay at Greengo’s Hostel in Semuc Champey was absolutely amazing. It was honestly the highlight of all the hostels we stayed at during our trip!

We had a great time at Greengo’s. The hotel is very beautiful and the people who work there are very nice. We enjoyed all tours and one of our favorites was the chocolate tour.

This place is amazing. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The views from this place are stunning.

Definitely look beyond Zephyr / Greengos and come to this amazing place.

We had an amazing stay in Lanquin. What stood out the most was the kindness and hospitality of the people who run this place. It is a locally owned hotel, and that is something I truly value.

The hostel is by the river and the atmosphere is super cool and relaxed. They also provide shuttle and tour service and they cook breakfast and dinner for 40-50Q.

Staying at the Casa Durante is a great experience. It’s clean and safe. The gardens are also great to walk through in the mornings. They offer different breakfasts and it’s delicious!

Good value and location. Quiet. The first room was a little dark, but they moved me to one overlooking the garden. Very secure.

If you're looking for luxury, this place is not for you.

Our dorm was… very minimal. Keep your expectations very low. However, I slept wonderfully after I got the huge bug away from my bed. Same for the bathroom. It's bare bones.

The location is beautiful, secluded and right by the river. The staff are incredibly friendly (especially Eva and Carlos). Only good things to say about this hostel!

Amazing hostel in the heart of the Guatemalan jungle. I felt at home as soon as I got here. The dorms are insanely clean + comfy. The meals are well priced, nourishing, and home cooked.

Good small posada close to the biotopo del quetzal. Friendly owner and staff. Good restaurant with reasonable prices. Locals stop here to eat. Rooms are well furnished but really really humid.

Great experience at the Hostel El Portal. The room are clean, the location is excellent, really the the entrance of Semuc Shampey.
The food is around 70Q — 120Q.

Fine! Good value: cheap price for a basic room. Location really close to the entrance of Semuc Champey, pickup available from and to Lanquin. Music is sometimes a little hard in the evening.

The place was great while I was there. The first night was actually so quiet, there were more employees than guests. It’s a very pretty area along the river, great for relaxing.

The staff was friendly and the location was amazing! Does not have a kitchen but they sell coffee and food. Also the rooms are a bit musty smelling.

Great affordable stay. The room was very clean and water was hot. There is no AC but there are fans to keep you cool.

Had the best experience at Utopia Eco Hostel. We stayed in a jungle cabin which was great and so well kept given it’s in the middle of the jungle.

This is a nice reasonably priced little hostal really close to the Parque Central with nice little rooms and this super hot shower, probably one of the best showers I’ve had in a hostal here?

Great hostel and some of the friendliest staff I’ve encountered in Guatemala. They were kind enough to make us delicious packed lunches late in the evening for our early morning journey to Flores.
