Alta Verapaz Hotels with a Parking

Paniste is easily my favorite hotel in Las Verapaces as we call both Alta and Baja Verapaz, amazing attention, clean spaces, nature all around and fantastic food, not only a Hotel but a destination

Beautiful place! very well kept, yummy food at the restaurant, friendly staff, several things to do like play ping-pong, swim, climb the tower, and much more!

Our stay at Greengo’s Hostel in Semuc Champey was absolutely amazing. It was honestly the highlight of all the hostels we stayed at during our trip!

We had a great time at Greengo’s. The hotel is very beautiful and the people who work there are very nice. We enjoyed all tours and one of our favorites was the chocolate tour.

Excellent value for the place. The breakfast is so delicious. Again, Excellent quiet, comfortable spot.

Beautiful property in downtown Coban. The property is quite pretty, with a tree growing in the plaza. Breakfast was included and was quite good. The staff care about their guests. Free parking.

This place is amazing. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The views from this place are stunning.

Definitely look beyond Zephyr / Greengos and come to this amazing place.

Clean and friendly hostel, If you would like to stay by the river in Lanquin away from the party hostels and enjoy the relaxing noise of the river and the good thing is its very close to town (700m).

If you're looking for luxury, this place is not for you.

Our dorm was… very minimal. Keep your expectations very low. However, I slept wonderfully after I got the huge bug away from my bed. Same for the bathroom. It's bare bones.

Beautiful restaurant and food is super good. We order a local dish kak ik. The service was great and prices were fair. There’s a big koi pond and there are also a cottages in the back.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing, they even had personal pizzas for the kids. Lots of playground equipment and goldfish in a pond. Beautiful setting.

Staying at the Casa Durante is a great experience. It’s clean and safe. The gardens are also great to walk through in the mornings. They offer different breakfasts and it’s delicious!

Good value and location. Quiet. The first room was a little dark, but they moved me to one overlooking the garden. Very secure.

I’m really glad with the hotel, especially the service was so kind and helpful.

Beautiful garden setting by a stream, ensconced in its own little pocket of tranquility but not far from the main highway. Lovely hosts. A peaceful respite from the intensity of driving in Guatemala.

Wonderful place right in the middle of a green oasis! After all the loud and dirty cities of Guatemala this place really was a paradise! The host is super friendly and caring, the food was delicious!

Hotel Y Restaurante Casa Gaia is located at the edge of the city of Coban and is extremely well kept and maintained.

Casa Semuc is located a stone throw from the central park and the craft shops, many restaurants (plus the in house restaurant).

Incredible value and great breakfast included. If you’re staying in the magical city of Coban stay here.

The place was great while I was there. The first night was actually so quiet, there were more employees than guests. It’s a very pretty area along the river, great for relaxing.

The staff was friendly and the location was amazing! Does not have a kitchen but they sell coffee and food. Also the rooms are a bit musty smelling.

Great experience at the Hostel El Portal. The room are clean, the location is excellent, really the the entrance of Semuc Shampey.
The food is around 70Q — 120Q.

Fine! Good value: cheap price for a basic room. Location really close to the entrance of Semuc Champey, pickup available from and to Lanquin. Music is sometimes a little hard in the evening.

This place is definitely the best place you’ll find in Cobán. You will not regret staying in this cozy getaway.
The host and his son were very friendly. It felt like coming home to visit family.

A Cozy Escape at Casa Q'eqchi – A Hidden Gem.

I have stayed and visited this hotel for the last 30 years. Nothing has changed. Beautiful, unique and affordable prices.

Good small posada close to the biotopo del quetzal. Friendly owner and staff. Good restaurant with reasonable prices. Locals stop here to eat. Rooms are well furnished but really really humid.

I spent three nights here and have absolutely no problem recommending it. The staff were very helpful, and responded quickly to my questions before my arrival. The atmosphere was casual and clean.

Very nice people whom are 24/7 availablr for anything. I personally had lots of fun with the locals at the bar. We played fifa, chess, put some music and had a good time.

A bit rustic, but a good place to spend a few nights. We weren’t disappointed. The food isn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. The tour they offer was amazing. They have free parking.

Our stay at Vista Verde in Lanquín was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed.

Very nice room at a nice lodge. Be careful booking private room 8 though, as one of the windows cannot close. With the parties (till 1am) you won't be able to sleep much.
