Overall, a very decent property but with some downsides. We stayed for 7 nights on a half-board basis in one of the three duplex suites with private pool (#701). We really liked: 1. Food. The open kitchen turned out some tasty food in the evenings and service was pretty good. Breakfast was good but not as fantastic as other reviews have raved about. For example, some items ran out towards the end of service and weren’t replenished. 2. Private pool. Great to have one’s own pool but should really have been walled off for greater privacy/security. 3. Access to beach/sea. Just a short walk away. A few niggles though: 1. Bar menu (drinks) is overpriced and will have you ringing for the nearest car hire or taxi so you can get to the supermarket to stock your mini-fridge. 2. Housekeeping can be a little inconsistent. 2 bottles of water one day, then 4 the next then nothing the day after that. 3. Although Wi-Fi is free and there’s good coverage around the resort it can be a bit patchy in terms of performance. 4. Some of the evening staff are a little unprofessional, horsing around and joking loudly in front of customers. 5. Music played by the main pool doesn’t, in my opinion, add much to the ambience. Given the price I don’t think this is a property aimed at Millennials so not sure why management thinks repetitive beats are the way to go We would recommend.
Such a fantastic place. No faults, just a truly amazing experience.
