The Hotel staff (All inclusive) were Amazing! Absolutely recommend this hotel above all others in the Landstuhl/Ramstein/Kaiserslautern area.

I have stayed in many Hotels around the world. None compare with Hotel Merkur. The rooms are extremely clean. The Staff provides the best customer service. If you are in the Ramstein and do not stay at Hotel Merkur, well, you made a bad choice.

I have stayed at the Merkur over the past several years and it is always a top-notch experience! Every time it gets better. The staff is very friendly and provide great service. They are very personable and like a second family to me when I am away from home. The food is outstanding and I have enjoyed every single meal that they have served on a very diverse menu. The rooms are very clean and they keep the hotel looking brand new. The rooms are also very quiet so you can relax, work, and sleep very easily here. The hotel is conveniently within walking distance from many shops and restaurants downtown and just a few minutes’ drive from Ramstein AFB. I would review the Merkur and staff 6 out of 5 stars if it was possible. Thanks Merkur and Staff! :)

A very clean, comfortable, and cozy place to stay. Only stayed here one time, but this will be the only hotel in my future visits to the Air Base. The rooms rates are NOT expensive at all! They do not inflate the rates to the American Per-Diem maximums. The staff is very friendly. And the food is excellent. For those traveling on business: They can separate your food tab from your final bill so you have a clean receipt for your expense report :-)

I was here for 3 days, about 4 months later I'm back and they remember me and treat me like an old friend. Awesome place! Great rooms, great food!

This is the best hotel in the area. The staff treat you like family. Breakfast is excellent and dinners are superb! Rooms are very clean quiet and with motorized shades dark. Great German beer on tap.

Was on a business trip in Landstuhl and my prior reservation at another hotel fell through. Hotel Merkur came through. Great Staff, VERY CLEAN and the best was a comfortable bed. Definitely Recommend.

My stay at the Merkur has been most wonderful. The staff are amazing people. I felt very welcome and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. The food is exceptional. I have explored most of the menu. The ox cheeks in particular is a good dish to try. It is truly deserving of a 5 star rating. Thanks everyone at the Merkur.

Rooms are comfortable. Water pressure is great. Restaurant is better is better than average hotel food. Service is very personable and attentive.

Very cosy and friendly staff. The rooms are large with good facilities. However, the too loud radio annoys at breakfast.

Was quite ok. Unfortunately there was only one smoking room available. I thought they wouldn't give it any more!

I stayed at this Hotel Merkur for 3 weeks. Excellent service, excellent facility, the German and American breakfast buffet was great. I dined there most nights and dinner selections were always delicious. I am a noise bug, and it was quiet and peaceful there. It was so restful and comfortable that I didn't want to leave!

Great staff, breakfast, and rooms. If you're working on Ramstein this is the place to be. On your off time, check out the trails on the hills nearby. Only downside here is the spotty wireless internet. If they fixed that it'd be perfect.

Rooms are nice, modern, and comfortable. Showers work well. Breakfast is good. Staff has been friendly and accommodating. Altogether I have no complaints.

We had a family of four during our stay. The hotel was great and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was awesome. It was a buffet with a lot of options. We tried a local wine they sold and it was very good.

This is the best overall hotel experience you will have in Germany excellent ownership and the whole staff is incredibly attentive to all your needs. Incredible food with dinner specials every night. The menu has something for everyone whether it is steak Tartar (best I have ever had) chicken, fish, steaks, pasta. Every meal is served and presented like a 5 star restaurant. Thank you Garrett, Ina, Henne and Sonja, your kindness and hospitality will never be forgotten. Last comment the maids clean to a white glove inspection standard. Cannot wait for my next visit.

If you want to feel like family, be treated like a king and have amazing food I highly recommend the hotel Merkur. The best experience I have ever had traveling.

Best hotel in the area. Fantastic staff. Large rooms with free Wi-Fi. Pet friendly. Great restaurant and upscale bar. Not a typical German hotel but set up for American business travellers.

Feel free to go to this hotel. Rooms have a decent size with air conditioning. Microwave and refrigerator in the room. Breakfast very good. Ample parking space…

No frills hotel on an industrial estate with good access to the road network, there is a bar and food available on site, which is pretty reasonable and friendly. There's a microwave and fridge in the room so you can self cater. The only local amenity is a MacDonalds so not a spot for fine dining.

The Merkur is a great boutique hotel. Garrett has done a great job with the staff who are always very polite, always helpful and can pretty much do anything in the hotel (Check-in, Tend Bar, serve food in the restaurant). This is my go-to place in Ramstein, especially if I have to be there for more than a couple of weeks. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable as well. If you're going to be in Ramstein or Kaiserslaturen, the Merkur is the place to stay!

This place is amazing! Wonderful atmosphere, clean, organized, great staff, very friendly. This place has nice sized clean rooms, secure facilities, up to date rooms, and keys. One of the best hotels I have been to in Deutschland!

I travel all over the world and by far the Merkur is the best place to be when you can't be at home. Great rooms, wonderful location and the best staff; who are very personable and do a great job of making you feel right at home. I give them 6 stars!
