Modern hotel for short trips. The bathroom is not for big people.
Very good breakfast. Waffles for self-baking. Delicious!

Nice reception. Directly behind the train station. Rooms clean. What I didn't like so much was the really small bathroom but otherwise everything was great!

Rooms were clean and functionally furnished. Friendly service at the reception and bar. Central location directly at the Hbf. Delicious food is available opposite uncle Buddy.

Great location just outside Bochum HBF however tiny rooms and tinier bathrooms don't leave a good impression… Plus no room service and limited late night food options in the restaurant.

Unfortunately this Hotel loves to hosts bachelorette guests which like to Party the whole night and morning. Only the bed was fine and it is quite central, therefore 2 stars.

Average rooms for a decent price. No reaction after a complain related to a bachelor party next door. We did t enjoy ourselves.

To me were all very friendly, the breakfast is ok, room clean and functional. What more could you want at this price? Unfortunately, a luxury suite for this money is not feasible.

Very small rooms, especially the toilet, so you have to sit across it. Location very central to city or nightlife area Bermuda Triangle. Parking costs and you have to always get a coin at the reception, which can be very annoying when people check in or out!

The rooms are small but the hotel is close to the station is in the centre so for a short stay it's fine.

The from us booked rooms were small but for a Night okay. They were clean and tidy, however the bathrooms are a little small. Polka dots have the location and transport links, the buffet Breakfast, especially the waffle bar was made to all the children of the guests in the house to great enthusiasm. The staff in the entire hotel was friendly and accommodating. The 5€ Parking fee is completely justifiable.

The basic rooms are very small, but you have everything you need, even if the bathroom was really cramped. The staff at the reception I experienced as very friendly and courteous. The first room we had was unfortunately not clean and there was plenty of hair on the bed sheets. After a brief complaint at the front desk, we got a clean room and we even refunded the €5 parking fee for the night.

Hello, a friend and I have been looking for a place to stay overnight since we were in Bochum and found this hotel. We booked a double room and got a small room with a slightly larger bed and only one blanket. On request we did not get a blanket, as they have no more. The operation must always have enough in stock! That was the first point of criticism. We also booked a smoking room. It has literally gemüffelt. When we used the window for airing, we quickly realized that there was no heating. It was freezing and it was stunk. And that for this price is more than a Frecheit. The reason I give the one star is because of the cleanliness that was at least available.
If a 19-year-old guy is already bothered to write a review, you should take it to heart.

Clean and warm room, not very spacey but really OK. The proximity to the train station and the center of the city is on it's pros.

Conveniently and centrally located. Rooms are small, but no problem for one night. Rooms are clean. The staff were quite friendly. We missed the breakfast we booked and already paid for. Unfortunately, we were twenty minutes late. But a cult arrangement has been ruled out. Not once a coffee (and a sandwich) was offered to us. They're too late. So there's nothing. I rate that with the deduction of a star. The fact that parking costs another 5 euros per day is probably due to the closeness to the centre. Other IBIS hotels offer free parking in the multi-storey car park.

Clean big city hotel for a few days. The rooms are small but well thought out. There is no central heating, the room is heated by the air conditioning. This is not environmentally friendly and totally dries out the nose. I would still have to contend with dislocated nasal mucous membranes several days into the stay. There is also a bar in the lobby with various snacks.

Fellow passengers reported noise from the station or the opposite party organiser at night. To the side of the road I could not notice anything disturbing.
However, the staff are very friendly and breakfast is fine. The fresh waffles are great!
The location is close to the centre, only a few minutes walk and you are right in the middle of it. It is also not far from the Bermuda Triangle …

Very good location close to the city center room 104 very small but everything you need to stay overnight. Clean and friendly staff. Despite the train station no annoying noise. Good Geräuchdammung.
Breakfast OK. For a weekend trip to the Christmas market it was very well suited for longer vacations I would ask for a larger room.

I have stayed here during my visit to a conference. The hotel is well maintained and near to the city centre and most places in the city. The best thing about the hotel is that it is right beside the main train station. I have requested for an electric kettle in my room. The hotel has not provided any information regarding the availability of it either before or upon check-in. Some information about it would have been good.

The rooms are very clean but extremely tight and not Soundproofed. We heard every word in the room/hallway was spoken. No matter how quiet it was. From the outside, it is a catastrophe just as the environment. Very nice staff.

There is nothing positive about this Hotel. Room with a new bed, ok. But everything else in the room and Gang unloving and without taste. A bathroom is smaller than on a cruise ship Breakfast for 10€ is of course not much,. But not even that is justified. Everything very dearless, tablet such as in the canteen, hot chocolate diluted with water. Since I give for a family room in a Spa hotel rather four times,. But you also get ten times more!. It's a nice hotel in a very convenient location. They have a good breakfast buffet. The rooms are just a bit small.

Small but fine room (115), good and friendly English speaking staff, there are Parking facilities in front of the door Clean and tidy, very Central, in spite of the train station in front of the door you get nothing with (room was to the train station) Breakfast was fresh and rich.

Service is very good. Ibis are a good budget chain but downside to this hotel is that rooms at front are noise did to bus stops outside property, so ask for room at back of hotel.
