Hotel

A hotel in the heart of Bochum city centre. Overall, it is no longer fully up-to-date. A relatively new hotel in the middle of the city center of Bochum. Overall, it is not quite up to date. However, from here you can walk very well into the city with restaurants and pubs. The rooms were tidy, clean. I had on the ground floor a terrace in front of my room, on whichI could still sit outside in the evening. However, other guests also liked to do and sat outside until 11 p. M. And longer, which was not so great.

Hotel is nice, located near market place. Breafast is very nice. Only thing which can be improvised is Internet connectivity. Internet speed is not as per standard.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very cozy, TV and small kitchen available. There are also family rooms, with cot on request. A towel was unfortunately dirty.
Breakfast buffet is really excellent! Very large selection and everything fresh.
The garage is terribly narrow and small, that even some kind of electric pallets lie across in front of the parked cars where you can park on it but at the thought that strangers push my car through the garage will be bad for me.
Otherwise everything is great!

Location: City centre rooms: Very neat and more than adequate for 4 star service: Not evaluable as I was only there for one night.

Very conveniently located Hotel. All Destinations important for Tourists are within walking distance. City centre and German Mining Museum in about 10 minutes Starlight Express and Bermuda3eck in about 30 Minutes. The Hotel is very quiet and clean for this central Location. The Staff at all Times friendly.

Good hotel, located in the central area, and great breakfast.

Sehr schön und einladend gestaltet. Leider einige Mängel. Besonders für den Preis. Minibar verdreckt, im Terassenbereich meines Zimmers lagen Kronkorken rum. Der Seifenspender ist defekt, genauso wie der Lupenspiegel. Das Wasser unter der Dusche hält seine Temperatur nicht. Wechselt willkürlich von heiß nach kalt. Der Duschvorhang hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Beim einchecken gabs Probleme, man wollte mir nicht glauben und konnte nirgends einsehen, dass ich das Hotel schon bezahlt hatte. Obwohl ich es schwarz auf weiß hatte. Das Parkhaus ist ausserdem ziemlich überteuert.

Citynahes Hotel with underground parking, pedestrian pedestrian accessible, loads of restaurants nearby, very nice staff. Room ok when to get out to the street a bit noisy. Value for money definitely very good.

Standard hotel, nice location close to the center but far enough to be calm. Nevertheless, there should be some noise linked to the ring and the Uban. Breakfast is ok and personal very kind.

Hotel and service TipTop. Room very clean. Price performance is right here.

Our children had a double room above us, connected to a staircase. We thought that was practical.
The breakfast is varied and the service attentive.
Close to the centre and convenient for traffic.

The underground car parks are too narrow for large vehicles (SUVs, VANs), there are many pillars that make it difficult to get in and out. The movable parking spaces are funny.

Rooms were nicely furnished, but could have been cleaner. Otherwise friendly staff. Location is very good: within walking distance of the city center and the main train station.

Nice and friendly staff. Rooms smell of smoke when heating up. After every return, airing was necessary. Then everything is fine.

20Feb2018 A good hotel in a very good position to enjoy Bochum center by feet. Fitness center. Small camera but enough confortable. To join Wi-Fi you have to pay few € per day, but net is stable. No still water available in the room. No tea or coffee in the room. If you don't like stairs, ask for a room without them. Very rich breakfast.

Clean, spacious room with good facilities. Staff was also very friendly. The noise from the hallway, however, arrives unfiltered into the room, which did not allow me to have a restful sleep.

I was Übernachtunggast in the hotel and for that it is really good. Central yet quiet location. The room was spacious and clean! The breakfast is plentiful and should be prepared for every taste.

Clean, cozy. The breakfast buffet is generous, garage spaces available. The location is convenient if you want to go to the Mining museum and surrounding area. The room prices for my taste a bit too high, 10-15% less would be more suitable.

It's OK! Good price but basic setup. No coffee in the room which is a shame! Restaurant attached to the hotel has recently been refurbished and is quite nice! Easy walk to the centre of Bochum where there is plenty to do.

Room has a small kitchen including microwave, electric stoves, fridge and sink. So you can cook simple food in your room. Absolutely recommended for long stay. I stayed in this hotel for three weeks in a row last year and everything was fine. Hotel is located within walking distance from many restaurants and a small shopping mall "City Point. " You'll get everything what you need over there. If you walk in night time, I didn't feel any dangerous around the hotel, so I can say hotel is located in safe area. You'll enjoy hard and delicious bread (or perhaps normal for European people), ham, cheese, sausage, serials and many fresh things at breakfast. However, vegetable is limited and only tomato and cucumber are available. Unfortunately if you stay long, menu is almost same every single day and you might get bored a bit. Also, on weekend you'll be surprised how many people are eating breakfast at the restaurant. Perhaps this is popular place for local people? Hotel has a small fitness center and you can enjoy running on treadmill if you feel you're lacking exercise. Staff is nice and overall I was satisfied with this hotel.

It is a very large and nice hotel with restaurant. It has 4 floors and the reception is open 24 hours. The rooms are very clean and cozy. There is a large bathroom with shower and bathtub in each room. I can only recommend it.

The hotel is very simple but good for a city or musical trip. The bathroom should be urgently renewed, looks like in the hospital and the pillows are very uncomfortable. The staff at the reception is very friendly. The breakfast has a great selection and is very delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We couldn't even sit where we wanted, even though there was plenty of room.

The free Wi-Fi is virtually non-existent! The rooms are great, parking costs extra, but at least available! Staff very nice.

Nice quiet hotel in central area. Perfect for a business trip, but also for a visit to the city. The breakfast is good and offers a large selection, however at the time of my stay (July 2017) was just rebuilt so that you had to walk across the street to the restaurant.

There is a tiny kitchen in the room! Complete with microwave, refrigerator, and stove, plus dishes and utensils. The shower is quite small, however: it is a single person standup, but the water pressure is comfortable at least.

For a 3 star hotel super. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast buffet is very good. Highly recommended the restaurant. Good value for money.

We had a bed and breakfast here. The room and bathroom was very clean, also the beds were very comfortable… only the pillow for me personally too small:-) The breakfast was very well arranged and welcoming, from sweet to hearty everything was there. We liked it very much.

A star deduction for this, as the staff in the restaurant was completely overwhelmed and in spite of the manageable clientele long waiting times were necessary.

Friendly staff, large clean rooms with kitchenette. Bathroom large, pleasant that you toilet is relatively high.

Nice rooms, good central location in Bochum. Approx. 15min walk to the Bermuda Triangle, 1min to the bus and the Stadtbahn, 5min to the Bochum shopping streets.
Comfortable beds, good room service. You can leave the keys there and when you come back to pick up at the reception, you will not lose them by any means. Safe in the room. Very good breakfast buffet.

For one night accommodation is fine but at this time where the temperatures are quite high returning to the hotel and not having air conditioning is no big deal.

Is a good hotel for the price. Shame the hotel has no air conditioning for ground floor and to for rooms. Also no coffee in room which is a shame, but very friendly staff!

The hotel is clean has good food and the price is fair. I would recommend it to anybody who's having a quick stay in Bochum.

A family had rooms. Is a super Hotel, clean rooms, the Breakfast leaves no wishes open, super nice staff, and top Shuttle for the Musical. After the Musical still eat in the Restaurant, super food. All-in-one top. Come back.

Great hotel, professional and clean.

Great Hotel and friendly staff. The room is huge and with a kitchen. Parking with a huge transporter is also possible. Breakfast includes everything fresh.

Nice Hotel but breakfast is expensive and you have to pay the extra cappuccino…

Excellent hotel near downtown, clean rooms and spacious bathroom with bathtub, very important kitchenette for those with small children: stove sink microwave oven crockery cutlery pots kettle! Recommended.

Nice kitchenette. Good sized room and will use every time for business. Shame the hotel suffers from drain smellssmells, but the whole town has problems when it is hot.

The hotel is really much. The rooms are generous. The bathroom is well equipped. However there are always corners that could be even aufgehübscht. However, the biggest catch at this hotel is the staff. The staff was never naughty. Only the waiter was friendly, polite and nice evening at the bar. I was always me, as if I were an evil intolerated.

This pleasant hotel, the detail is that is on a street that never rests, there are always trucks circulating and the truth could never sleep. Oh, and Wi-Fi is not free.

The room was very large and had even a small kitchen corner.
The bed was good. It was all clean.
The breakfast is excellent and offers plenty of externally.

The rooms are always much too hot, despite heating is switched off; who gets a room to the side of the road, can open even on the basis of the volume of traffic a window. Sleep is rather difficult unless one is on heat.
Internet access is a joke, "free", there are 256 kbit/s, for a 24-hour "unrestricted" (approx. 3000 kbit/s) you pay € 4. This is disproportionately today!
Breakfast is rich and tasty, the restaurant is however a little getting divided, all food / drinks are distributed throughout the area. There is a little unnecessary searching.
If you are not fully booked, we use like other hotels…

Hotel makes a good impression… but its 2016! internet connection speeds that take us back to 1995! Dial up modem in the basement? Please…

During the Steampunk Jahrmarkt at Jahrhunderthalle Bochum in 2015, someone told us to stay at this hotel. So… We stayed for a night for the firtst time at this hotel and it was also the first time for us staying in Bochum. About the hotel… We were pleased with the quality for the price, good sevice, clean room, breakfast was good.
we had a great experience about this hotel.
Next year, we will be visiting Steampunk Jahrmarkt again and of course, we have already booked …our rooms at Acora Hotel. And we will bring more friends with us to staying at Acora Hotel next year. Friendly regards from The Dutch Steampunk Group, Clockwork Carrousel.

Very expensive Hotel! But there is free Wi-Fi. A fitness room (treadmill, etc) and in the room a small kitchen with stove/coffee / /fridge/pots etc. Rooms are clean but the bathroom was pretty unclean. Climate makes some noise and are not cleaned (the filters)! Breakfast also costs extra.

An Overnight stay with Breakfast for the Musical Starlight Express with her husband and daughter. We are very well recorded. Room was large, nice and clean. Equipment perfect with a TV, a kitchenette, a balcony. Staff very nice and courteous. Dinner was on us, because the Fässle was closed, around the corner from the Italians Pzzeria Bacco recommended, which I can only recommend. We were with the Shuttle bus to the Musical gone there and picked up again. The Breakfast was very rich, even with self aufgebackenen croissants, and everything your heart desires. We would anytime again come. Many Thanks! :o)

We are from Holland who arrived to Starlight _Express to see it before we in Switzerland weiterreisten. Since we are before the Show even eat wanted, we asked whether in the Rest. Fässle still a table free. Yes, of course we would not need to reserve we were told. As we at 17.30 h in the Rest. Wanted, it was closed! Order the room was, of course, also not and so we had to Fast, in 40 degree heat a Imbis looking for! Also the terrace was closed… This is not a Service! A Hotel in which you are not something you can eat and you are also incorrectly informed I can not recommend it.

Top hotel. 10min walk straight into the centre, 7minute drive to the starlight Musical. Room is well furnished, beds are excellent. Breakfast buffet with large selection. Parking garage directly at the hotel. Service and staff very friendly and competent. At any time gladly again :)

Also, Thank you to the team from the Fässle, on the one hand, the chef has perfectly cooked, and the service team have spoiled us. At this point, just a THANK you and as someone who often has to live in Hotels… this is a Hotel I gladly anytime again book!
