Superb spa and swimming pool. Very close to city centre but also next to a lovely urban park.

Very nice and friendly staff in all areas of the hotel, especially in the restaurant! A beautiful large and well-kept room. I felt very comfortable.

Great restaurant with excellent, French inspired dishes. Outstanding breakfast buffet with a wide range of choices. Nice, relaxed bar with an impressive drinks list and options for some light, late bites. Friendly and attentive service. Good spa and pool facilities complemented with a nice gym which never seems crowded.
The rooms and bathroom facilitates however need modernizing, especially the bed mattresses which over the years seem to have become way too soft.

Strangely shaped room with high windows you can't actually look out of except to see upward. Kind of expected with an old building. Otherwise a well kept hotel with a decent breakfast and good location close to many restaurants, shops, and bars.

Nice classical style hotel. Large lobby and dining hall. Big breakfast buffet with lots of variety. Delicious dining opportunities as well. Kind and fast waiting staff. Reasonably sized rooms, with spacious and clean bathrooms. Excellent wellness area.

Excellent, will be back frequently. I now have 3 visit to this hotel, planning to bo another stay in a few weeks. Service, customer appreciation, personal and friendly. Rooms are a great value and very comfortable.

The best hotel in Aachen! The rooms are very nice and each one is a bit different in size and furniture. Some have coffee pots, others have towel warmers, but they’re all still very nice. The spa is quiet and relaxing. The Elephant Bar in the lobby is very good with an amazing staff and good drink prices. Breakfast/Lunch out in the patio is wonderful since there is a park next door and plenty of green space so you don’t feel like you’re in a city. The hotel is easy walking distance to all the main areas of Aachen and there is a laundromat 1 block away. Plenty of running/walking trails behind the hotel as well.

5-star hotel with Spa, room and exceptional breakfast s.

A dream to stay in this hotel. The staff are very attentive, the rooms in perfect condition (if something has jumped off at an older solid wood cupboard on a corner, then the style has and is not "worn out") and the beds excellent. The spa area, the incredibly delicious and extensive breakfast, as well as the entire ambience of the hotel are unique in the region! Those who expect modern steel, concrete — and plastic interior design behind these facades are out of place.

Good, modern spa. Service accomodating for the wishes of the guests. Outdated but charming style. Rooms do need a makeover asap. Excellent value given the rate.

Probably one of the nicest hotels in Aachen. Great service, spacious rooms, incredibly friendly staff and very good breakfast. The only issues are the limited opening hours of the spa and that the rooms are somewhat dated and need renovations. I recommend the hotel without hesitation though and would stay here again anytime.

I absolutely love The Quellenhof in all it's decor, grand entrance, breakfast, pool/spa, staff, hospitality, quietness, comfy beds. Everything! I cannot wait to visit again soon. Love from Minneapolis.

Beautiful building, very professional staff, great bar. Slightly on the formal side. The room I stayed in was small but completely functional.

From the outside, the hotel is wonderful. The lobby is similar to this picture. The 5-star character is already lost in the corridors, unfortunately. The rooms have been in the years, the Fernseherbim Deluxe room was at 17 ' ' Unfortunately not 5 star level. The room was clean, small cracks in the fabric of the couch and scratches and matzen in the table show that nothing has been renovated for a long time. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
You can do it once, but for the price it should be renovated urgently.

Very good service, nice location 7 min walk to a center of town. Swimming pool, sauna, great place to relax. Food is very good. Front desk service is amazing. Recommend.

Sometimes things just go wrong.
At the first sight of the hotel it takes your breath away. A real monumental, a grand hotel as you know it from the cinema. Once you enter the hotel, the impression is further enhanced by the impressive interior design. The Elefantenbar to the left is absolutely recommended. Otherwise, the staff is polite and satisfies every wish. The rooms are cosy, but unfortunately you stumble over and over again, which can be closed to a flap of quality control. The last time it was a non-working safe. This time a clamping, roughing shower door. Both times the problems were not solved despite multiple complaints. Both times the feedback from the reception failed. The wellness area is currently treated neglected and should be overhauled during the year. During my stay the customer service failed completely. Bath soap in the Lindtpralinen. Clamping shower door. No Wifipasswort in the envelope of the Checkins. A glass in the offered room drink although the room was booked for two people. In short: All quality problems which can be closed to a flap control. Or maybe everyone just had a bad day.

One of the best in the Aachen area. Formerly Steigenberger, now Pullmann. A historic hotel with good reputation, very good food, friendly staff and service. Wellness area with beautiful interior. Direct connection to the Eurocrest. Historical casino opposite. Small parking lot available.

A pleasant stay! The hotel is located close to the city centre (10 min walk). The building offers beautiful volumes. Comfortable and spacious room with a very large bathtub, superb spa, dining room, wide corridors… The staff are helpful and smiling. Wide choice at breakfast — a cook makes waffles, pancakes, omelets… on request. Four small flats: the condition of the carpets, the coffee in the rooms (not good), the tiny TV and the air conditioning a little noisy.

In Aachen's only grand Hotel you can dine in the brasserie at its finest. Mr. Steiner as restaurant chef guarantees a smooth top service. The small map contains from vegetarian, to fish, to meat all you can expect. You can order most dishes in small or normal portion sizes. Good open wines available. You should take the Degestiv in the Elephantbar. Overall a great short break in your own city. Not cheap, but worth every penny!

From the outside: very exclusive and nicely located from the inside: — Public areas very nice, only the way to the garage always smelled uncomfortable after eating — the rooms have been a little bit over the years, that's right. However, it was clean and therefore OK. In the near future there should be something to be done – the spa area is very nice, but an age limit should be introduced here. The screaming of children resounds to the saunas and does not allow for relaxation with the best of will — the breakfast was very good and tasty. You could even order a freshly made waffle on occasion we will be happy to come back.

Rooms are very old. Far too small TV for a 5 star hotel. You can't see anything from the bed. Attention, no Nespresso machine as it says on the internet. Just simple tassimo. Deduction in bathroom does not work. House Rules, however, is very nice. Personally, I can only advise against a visit.

I spent a wonderful weekend with my girlfriend in this fabulous hotel! From the first step to the doorstep to the exit there is not a small thing to complain about! Starting with the staff throughout the hotel, which gives the guest the feeling that you are the only person around whom it revolves, over the beautiful spa area where you forget all your worries up to the dreamlike dinner that is unparalleled. At this point again a big compliment to the kitchen! The Elephant Bar is also worth a visit.
All in all remains to say we were not here for the last time and can only recommend this hotel to everyone!

In the Quellenhof is the very exquisite and renowned Elefantenbar. A very chic, sociable bar with cocktails and drinks from A to Z at a good price.

Great luxury hotel, especially breakfast and food are excellent. Some rooms are not yet refurbished and have a worse standard. The spa area is great, but the wood in the saunas needs to be processed or replaced urgently.

"Gemütlichkeit" is the term that comes to me when I think back to our recent stay at Quellenhof. The staff were very friendly and comfortable. It is a pleasure to cross the vast corridors or to take the grand staircase. Kids love… Swimming pool also great to relax (when not too crowded). Breakfast cleanly extra (crowded the WE).
Limited flats: Slightly damaged furniture, a restaurant menu and room service a little short (but the quality is there). Missing a small space thought for children (but this is not the target heart).
The center of Aachen is a few minutes but in rainy weather, what a pleasure to be in a chair of the Elefant Bar to enjoy an excellent cocktail…
Anyway, want to go back! :)

Beautiful Hotel with all kinds of nice details… You get your breakfast eggs by your personal chief, have a dip in the pool or enjoy beautiful park views through old lead glass windows… All this for a very reasonable price.

Very freunliches staff. The rooms are in part totally rocked off, so what old one has seldom seen. Above all, the mattresses in our room have been completely overlain. It was also impractical that the bar in the EC closed very early. The breakfast was very good. Good choice and absolutely tasty.

Old old old Hotel… We have been there for six years and this is the last time… Dirty tapestry but really… Breakfast a disappointment compared to before. Standardization at the price of the high end. It's definitely too expensive… €200 at night…

Only small downside: the rooms are quite old (last century TV, worn tapestry, clean but worn bedding), for a 5 * hotel a small refreshment would not be a luxury.

Lovely hotel with a great breakfast. The Spa is very good but it's a big shame they don't bother to heat the pool, so unless you are a serious swimmer who likes cold water don't bother. Perhaps the Spa could provide wetsuits? Just a thought.

Old and poorly maintained Hotel. Dirty. I found hair on the bed when I arrived. We left the hotel after 5 minutes. In addition the staff was very unpleasant.

The service and especially the breakfast leave nothing to be desired. The room was big enough, but not quite fresh. In particular, the Windows went no longer (in the winter). Pool was too cold.

In Europe while on a business trip, I passed the Dusseldorf, stayed in this hotel for one night. This hotel is very good, beds slept very comfortable, location in the city centre. Around is quiet and well rested. Even me, a non-Germans, the waiter was very kind and friendly. Walk along the Rhein where one can meet many nice restaurants.

Nice room, friendly staff, breakfast was good and location close to town.

The room initially given was neither clean nor prepared. That obtained was no view. By contrast large, clean and very comfortable. Not far from the centre, very nice evening at the restaurant of the hotel. The breakfast was perfect.

We have in the Lounge sat. Wanted to have a conversation and actually quite like a coffee drink. My partner had for both times to the front Desk to go to the drinks to order. What then was king: The girl, which served as the First had, then came and wanted to prematurely cash in, because they are "on a break". Real Hammer. And the prices. The first Time I was at a business meeting in this Hotel, since it was rebuilt. In addition were in advance, we are also not informed. S c h a d e.

Very attentive Service, extremely large and beautifully designed rooms and exemplary range of Wellness services. For the price fine. One exception: "gyms" were more appearance than reality. However, anyone who is happy in front of the TV on the treadmill is running, this will be enough.

Great hotel. Not sure about the regular prices as I was here for a corporate event. But other then that it is great. Still don't love the small beds in Germany but that is an overall Germany complain not this hotel. Room was small though.

Stayed in this hotel from 3/7-3/15/2014 — This is an excellent hotel from breakfast with fresh honeycomb to the staff. The concierge Joachim and the front desk staff were very knowledgeable. The wait staff from breakfast to dinner were very polite and attentive. I would recommend this hotel.

The poor Allgemeinservice is the part of high-quality facilities are usually not compensated. There are better Alternatives, even in the 3 star range. Still applies.

Is this hotel racist? I attended a business meeting there and in the conference room the walls were covered with African slaves (some without clothes) serving their European masters. If you won't put up wall paper with pictures of concentration camps then you shouldn't have one showing Africans who were forcibly removed from there homes and forced into slavery. This is not something to be proud of nor is it something to glamorize.
