Very nice, family-run small hotel. Modern well-kept (small) rooms, very nice people, you are welcomed for breakfast by name. The breakfast itself is also very varied and it is also really lovingly taken care of. In the morning, the nearby main street is quite noisy. But still highly recommended!

Nice cosy hotel close to the city center (10min walk) and Carolus Therme (7min walk). Super friendly staff. Rooms are very nice even if some might find them small. Also a ghost cleaned our room during breakfast. Totally recommend. Make sure to book parking.

Great little hotel. No big rooms but we'll isolated from inside and outside noise. Absolute stunning breakfast and great family-driven service.

Central location, ca. 5 minutes walk to cental bus station and 15 minutes to Marktplatz. A little bit larger room could be better but it is quite good organized. Breakfast is just great! Recommended…

A quaint family hotel where you will be greeted very friendly. The rooms are small but adequate and very clean. As breakfast is very extensive and offers everything you could wish for. The hallways, rooms and breakfast rooms are furnished with great attention to detail. The price — performance — ratio is very good.
The only negative is the very noisy street, but in return you have a very central location.

I stayed in the hotel Granus for 4 nights. First of all I noticed the very friendly and competent staff. The reception is cozy and along with a side room at the same time the breakfast room. Speaking of which, the breakfast is plentiful and tasty. The staff always provides for filled coffee cups and juice glasses. The ambiance I would call Uhrig, give an impression of the pictures on Google.
The rooms, unlike other reviews, are not modern. The small bathrooms are rather more than 3 stars are not in here either. The carpeting makes me as allergy-sufferer to create, it is partly also on the walls.
Sleeping with an open window is not possible due to the location on the busy road. There is no ventilation system. My room was also equipped with a couch that was positioned under the TV. Something unfortunate, in my opinion.
The WLAN has worked most of the time.
A modernization of the room and replacement of the carpet would be slow at the time — Retrocharm back or forth. Overall I would give 2, 9 stars.
Update: Due to a personal incident I did not spend the last night of my booking at the hotel and unfortunately I missed the check out by an hour. When I came to my room, the cleaning lady was halfway through. The door was locked wide open, no cleaning lady in sight. I went to my room and packed my clothes and valuables. Nobody noticed. The receptionist retorted that the room was only a few minutes unattended.

Been there because of a friend, I can not tell much because I never stayed at the Hotel myself, sorry.

Just a little fantastic place. Our room was not ready, so they put us in an apartment they have across the road for no extra cost. Breakfast you have so many choices.

Charming Hotel in a quiet location about 15 minutes walk from the center of Aachen and 200 meters from the famous spas. Good value for money.

Super! We were as a family in the Hotel Granus in Aachen, Germany, (2 Erw. And 1 child (11J. ) ). The 3-bed room was big enough, the bathroom may be small, but completely sufficient. Everything is immaculate in order. The location is very convenient, about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Aachen, about 3 minutes to the Carolus thermal baths. A highlight is the Breakfast, which is really positive from the Hotelfrühstücks-mush stands out. Everything is freshly made, coffee and juice will be served at the table, the Früstücksraum is super cozy! The staff is friendly and accommodating, making you feel as a guest and not just as a customer! We had a very nice stay in the Hotel Granus.

3 day stay for the purpose of Thermenbesuch. Very, very friendly, competent, helpful and yet not Intrusive host. Here is the coffee, juice and eggs in whatever Form is desired is still served at the table. Great Tips for dinner ("Milano" in the old town) and to Thermenbesuch (on top of a 10% discount on the entrance fee) gabs on top of that. And on Sunday were there for Breakfast also Live piano music (even if only from the punched tape, but a real piano). If anything, it was the only fly in the ointment is the location on a normal road (not main road), and we eggs the absolute silence are used to. When the window is closed but that was also no Problem :-) ) just recommended! Thank you says pine family from the Saarland.
