Some of the staff members were not super friendly, but the location is really cool and cozy, and bedrooms are nice.

A nice, quiet hotel that was clean and had good beds. The rooms were modern and simply furnished, the main hallway was quiet at most and the staff there were very friendly. The food tasted good, the elevator worked and the corridors to the rooms were secured with a separate card, so that you could only open the door with the card, where the rooms were located.

If you stay in Berlin for a few days, I highly recommend this hotel.

Reasonably priced hostel, in the center of the city. Friendly staff who are 24 hours present. Rooms are clean and tidy, like the restaurant. Every room is fitted with a small boiler, so don't expect to have a shower longer than 2 minutes. The elevator is really slow, the center hall is loud and the hostel is mostly used by (school) groups. I do recommend the hostel when you want to explore the city on a budget and are prepared to make compromises.

Awesome place. We have reserved a private room and It looked like a real hotel. Clean, kind personal and good location, near the Alexanderplatz station and a shopping called Alexa. I recommend it.

This was my first time that I was giving a try to book a hostel in Berlin. Guess what… I love this place. Clean room, good service and a cheap breakfast all and all I have to only give it 5 stars. Try it you will not regret it…

Super Hostel. We were here over Pentecost. The rooms are Ordinary and Sauber. The staff is super nice. We had a room to the covered courtyard. Unfortunately, this had the disadvantage that it didn't work so well with the ventilation. With 26°C and standing air, it's really warm at night. The showers are also not optimal for large people. But for the price, it's all okay.

Yes. Yes, yes. Beautiful beautiful and very good price, really pity that despite being more or less close to everything seems a neighborhood where they could steal even your underwear. Although nothing happened to me however we were a group of 6 friends.

The staff was wonderful, helpful. The room spacious, comfortable beds with big pillows. Overall cleanliness was very good. It's around 15 minites on foot to Alexanderplatz, or 10 mins to the nearest train station. Recommended!

Very nice room and the beds were lovely. Super clean and with a few push touches to the room, such as a flat screen TV and individual lights next to each bed. The Wi-Fi wasn't good for watching video, so I decided to move elsewhere. Would recommend if you want a clean, comfortable bed in a very civilized setting. The entry hallway is fabulous and the Spanish lady at the desk during the day was really helpful and friendly.

I tried many hostel in berlin in and in other countries and Singer109 is by far the best hostel I visit so far. Friendly staff, clean rooms, amazing atmosphere,. I highly recommend it.

Booked over hrs where unfortunately not visible (not even from the price… just under 80 EUR) This is a youth hostel. In the evening kitchen too, hungry to bed, as location in the middle of a residential area where there are no restaurants etc within walking distance. Low at night for that then screeching and trampelnde teenager in the hallway. The shower was broken. The breakfast was still the best and even that was bad…

Nice place, service was good, rooms were clean and breakfast was excellent, but sadly it's a bit of a long walk from the train (12-15 mins), which is the best way to get to anywhere, there is no kettle in the rooms, and more importantly, there's no place to get dinner or lunch nearby.

Price/performance Top You can get to know many interesting people. The breakfast for €5 is also very satisfactory.
Was 2017 two times there and was not disappointed.

A super hostel for a relatively small price. The construction of the building is very ornamental, but it also has sounding disadvantages, so that one room is definitely more worthwhile, also because of the fresher air. The way to the next subway is not far and already the Berlin trip can begin.

Near the center, even though the area seems deserted. The hostel and the rooms are nice, they have even guitar and billiards in the reception area. It's like a hotel at hostel price. Highly recommended.

Although the hostel was quite clean, the staff is quite rude. They refused to sell drinks despite it being a friend's birthday and kept asking us to wait 10 minutes before they do anything else. While checking out, they refused to give us the refund for the room key. I would recommend to stay away.

We had a super stay. Price performance was right and staff were helpful. Zimmer was brought in every day. Come back safely.

Simply distasteful. It is a wonder this business has not been run into the ground yet. The staff is among the rudest I have yet to experience and the deplorable room conditions should result in the building demolition. What the rooms lack in charging stations and Wi-Fi they make up for with a surplus of liquor bottles, dirty laundry, and the layer of hair covering the bathroom floor and walls. Do yourself a favor by staying at a different hostel.

Singer 109 is nothing short of a disappointment. From the broken shower to the scratchy bed linens Singer 109 appeared more like a run down frat house rather than a respectable establishment. The dormitory was littered with liquor bottles and cigarette buds with the occasional condom lying in the table. I would highly recommend avoiding this hostel as not only your vacation but your health could be at risk.

Apart from that, the elevator there so often broken is great and so on the other hand you have enough sports up to the 5th floor.

Cheap way to sleep in Berlin. Minor flaws in the rooms such as a dripping tap but otherwise really great for the price. Aich breakfast which you can book for 5 euros is really great.

Really a nice Youth Hostel! I recommend it. Berlin mitte. Located in a quiet area and the rooms also are peaceful poir sleep. There's all the accommodation you need. Separate shower and toilet with large lockers for its items. Large common areas. Staff Fast Internet access. An 8-minute walk from the U-Bahn and the S-Bahn that take you all the way to the Center.

Perfectly organized and well furnished. I felt very comfortable. The bathroom was remarkably pretty and clean. The rest, actually, too.

My time at the Singer109 Hostel was amazing! I came to Berlin for a week to see some friends and couldn't stay with them, so I asked some friends for recommendations, and they said Singer. When I walked in, I was greeted by a couple of the staff, who were lovely and very fun. They joked and didn't hold back trying to make me feel at home. I was in room 313, which was lovely. A private room with kitchen and bathroom, was more than I expected. Very comfortable! The bar also had a huge range of beers, spirits and dry white wines which I love! They also offer great services, at a very reasonable price. The laundry service helped in particular! Smoking area is at hand, and was a vibrant place to socialise during the evenings — there I met many cool people. Breakfast for 5€ is also fantastic, and I left feeling ready for the day. Thank you, Singer109. I had a great time, and I can't wait to come back and visit!

Stayed one night there. Great service, kind people, and wonderful rooms. You risk getting a pesky roommate at a hostel, but if luck is your friend then you're in a great place.

Clean, nice and 5 mins walk from Alexanderpltz, many main attractions are within 30 minutes walking distance. Very much home away from home if you have nice roommates.
Helpful staff, but with one cleaner in place, big place and too much work for 1 person, so keep your room clean is best choice.

I was originally skeptical based on the price of this hostel (it was much cheaper than other options I looked at). However, I was pleasantly surprised! The facilities are very nice and secure, and the staff is great. Positive experience.

Honestly for a hostel this place was really good. The rooms were pretty big and they had big lockers for you to keep your stuff in. The guy at the front desk when we checked in was super friendly and helped explain a lot to us about the city, public transportation and such. This place was more than I expected for what the price was. Happy with the decision to stay here.

Nice place, very confortable. It offers a breakfast buffet for 5 euro. Was skeptical for the lack of climate control but with a 21 °C temperature in august, there is no need for that. Personel very friendly.

Stayed 3 nights, booked on airbnb. On hostel world, it says no curfew and no mentions of quiet hours. We were talking in our room at 11:30pm and were hasseled by security for noise? Not playing music or drinking, just talking. They have a rule that says no alcohol in the rooms? I was carrying a bottle up and was hassled by the bartender, I just kept walking and ignored him. You are also not allowed to stand on the sidewalk after 10pm and talk or they will hassle you. I would never stay here again because of these harsh rules and rude security guards. 0 stars!

I spent 4 days in the Singer Hostel. I was staying with 4 acquaintances in a 4 bed rooms with private bathroom. The room and the hostel generally warn very clean and tidy. In particular the courtyard is very nicely designed. The staff is friendly and also earlier check-in was no problem.

I find the hotel relatively shit, deck here at the giant mold stains are Betfair clothes stained and disgusting rich.
One sicherheutstyp is unfriendly and threatens us rauszuschmeisen rã although we were quiet.

The hotel"acts as a Jugendvolzugsanstalt.
It hang leftover food and the walls (literally). Located in a corner of the room a 1m roßer Schimmelpfleck.
The staff is unfriendly.
The Fehrngeseher in the rooms are not only small but also old. They have the usual 5 years ago as they, tube shape.
The bed linen is spotty and straightening some used ^ ^
Finally, I would discourage this hotel to all teachers of"Youth Hotel
to book there's not youth and child-friendly gestalted is not only the environment but also the rules.
"After those rules determines a far too strict, night watchman who is too loud and who is not. After 2 deposits, you will be prompted to leave the hotel.
The warning is issued also when you leave the room as students after 10: 00.

The staff is very rude and the wlan hotspot not working properly in our room was mildew and the establishment of equal to that of a youth prison.

Always clean, always kind. I love this hostel and will go here every time I visit Berlin. Very reasonable price and the breakfast, although 5€, is delicious!

The location is pretty sweet, close to the city, but nice and quite around the hostel. The rooms ara big and clean, and the service is very polite.

A really fantastic hostel. Felt far fancier than what I was paying for. Quite good location, well connected by the S-bahn I seem to remember, and has supermarket close-by. Friendly staff and beautiful well-equipped rooms.

Hi, I'm 15 years old and am on a school trip in this hostel. The staff is not friendly or helpful. The bathroom in my room were not clean and not very pleasant. The neighbors are the biggest factor, because it has trouble with them and the rules in the hostel are not suitable for school classes.

Leidere problems at the time of booking was which means that additional costs are incurred.

Really nice hostel, one of the best hostels I've been for a cheap price :D! (And it was holidays). It's not directly in the city center but you can get the subway easily!

Awesome staff, large rooms and gorgeous looking for a hostel. It looks like prices are higher this time of year, but when I stayed it was cheap as can be! Huge recommendation if you are in Berlin for a few nights.

Clean, friendly service, close to Alexanderplatz. However, the lobby is the covered area between the hostel's two constituent buildings, and any sound made there could be heard from our room, which had a window directly to this area. The lobby is a high traffic area so there is a lot of noise but I think only about one third of the rooms are affected. Don't let that deter you though, we had a great time there!

Definitely okay, very decent, although somewhat TOO up-tight. Tend to forget they are a Hostel, not a Hotel. The JAG Bar, however, is Great, and the Breakfast large and Very Generous. All in All, one of the BEST places to stay in Berlin.

This is the best hostel in the city! It is very well organized, clean, well located and for a very good price! I recommend it to everyone who wants to stay in Berlin.
