We loved staying at this hotel. Modern decor. Rooms are bright, clean, very spacious, minimal style. Super comfy beds. Large bathroom. Staff was very friendly. We didn’t have breakfast as it was too expensive but we easily found places next door that served breakfast for cheaper. Oscar at the reception was amazing! Would definitely return!

Centrally located Not far from Alex and not far from Kreuzberg nightlife.

We had an excellent stay here. Clean rooms and beds that are nicely furnished with wonderful bathrooms. The hotel bar was a nice place to stay before venturing out in the evening. I had no experience with the breakfast, as I ate somewhere else. The staff is very courteous and has a decent mastery of the English language. Generally speaking we were all very happy with our stay and might very well come back.

Nice rooms. Clean and cool. Best area for young visitors. Full of street art and good bars.

Room too warm. Air Conditioning didn't work properly. Wi-Fi was down throughout the STAY.

Nice staff, very good breakfast, clean and modern equipped rooms. Location for clubbers ideal. Otherwise you can travel quickly by train. Free parking is possible around the hotel.

Excellent hotel. New. Most of them speak Spanish. We arrived and Oscar, gave us map we explain the important sites of the city. Where the walls are. He gave us recommendations. Very good predisposition of all the staff. The rooms are large and comfortable clean. Good Wi-Fi. When we arrived we asked for a kettle to warm up water and have tea and very kindly approached it. We did not use the breakfast service and have no tea or coffee available in the room. It has a refrigerator with a drink in charge. I would definitely go back to that hotel, close to all the attractions and the subway on the corner. Genius Oscar!

Beautiful hotel, great location right next to the subway. The room was spacious and clean. Comfy beds and good heating, lots of natural light. The Wi-Fi was also strong enough to support Skype calls to home. Loved it!

Clean, modern and not too small rooms. A pity, a little was saved in the bathroom, so that in the shower on a shower enclosure dispensed, instead only a shower curtain was installed. Free W-LAN. The quality of the drinks at the bar gives you air to the top.

The hotel is well maintained and the staff very friendly. Price/performance are correct. There is also a great breakfast buffet with homemade bread, freshly prepared omelette and more.

Very good location right on the station to U8. Breakfast buffet was very good (should also be at 14 or 17 euros per person). What was directly noticed and also stayed over the entire stay was an unpleasant smell when entering the foyer or The lounge. Smelled like a strong cleaner or similar room was good, I am not a friend of it that there is only one clothes rack instead of a lockable wardrobe. But that seems to be fashionable at many hotels meanwhile. Room cleaning was blown through, properly wiped was not everywhere, e. G. On our bedside table. Staff was very friendly, all in all you can book here quietly.

Nice hotel, good room, quiet, well kept and with nice courtyard you can stay here well. In the Erdgeschoas there is even a fitness room where you can relax.
I even had luck and got a free parking lot around the corner.

Great location The best idea is to rent a bike in the hotel and see the city as it is huge. The staff speaks Castilian and they know the city very well. Breakfast of 10. I'm sure I'll be back if I go back to Berlin!

Amazing 4 star hotel in Berlin. And quite cheap to be a 4 star hotel. Staff is very kind, room was big and the breakfast amazing. They have also a small gym and the sauna.

Friendly, happy staff, beautifully spacious room with monochrome colour pallete. Exceptionally quite, great access links (right next to the U8 and one stop from the s9/S5/S7). The bed was lush. Lovely high end Spanish feel with a great wine selection at the bar.

Really great, affordable stay. Chic, industrial room decor. Around the corner from Kit Kat. 12 pm checkout after clubbing is a real boon.

Very quiet with very good facilities and very friendly staff. There are some staff that is Spanish that helps you with the language. The food was very good and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Good price for the good location. Near Boca Metro.

Excellent hotel stay. Well appointed modern rooms. Typical old Berlin office building transferred into this swish and clean hotel. Great prices for a weekend stay. They offer breakfast and in room dinning. 24 hour concierge. 1 minute from the KitKat club, a brave adventurous sojourn into Berlin night club, not for the prude or the fasint hearted. 15 minutes walk to Alexander Platz and St Nicolas church and other grand Berlin monuments. A few steps to medieval museum.

This hotel has great potential. Love the decor and the vibe. Nice spacious superior room however we paid for a double room and got two single beds pushed together which isn’t great for a couple. Then we ordered room service — a vegetable sandwich — however we just received a plate of vegetables and the catering staff couldn’t see the problem… we sent it back. Would be ideal to know that there was no bread left before ordering a ‘sandwich’. Room was only cleaned once and we had to request more towels which took about 24 hours to arrive after 3 requests. The highlight of our stay was the reception man Oscar who was very kind and friendly and made us feel welcome. He is great at his job and I reckon if all the staff at hotel Catolina worked to Oscars standard and enthusiasm then Hotel Catolina could be on it’s way to a much higher rating. Would recommend still! Only minor problems and ok for what we needed for our stay in Berlin.

I arrived at a quiet and pleasant hotel. Excellent location 5 min walk from Alexander. The wonderful hotel staff have become good friends. I lost my suitcase and equipment and without the help of the crew I would not get back anything. The location is excellent, the staff very friendly and attentive, the rooms are not very large but if comfortable and clean.

Recommended! Triple room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was spotless clean. Location of the hotel was also perfect, 10-15 minutes walk from Alexanderplatz, 5 minutes walk from the closest S-bahn station and a bus stop and U-bahn stop right in front of the hotel.

One of the worst hotel experiences lately. Understaffed reception with long wait times. Old and slow elevators with broken buttons. Tiny rooms with not enough space to turn around. 2 midget-sized blankets on a king bed instead of 1 normal blanket — and after asking 4 times for one you'll get ignored.

Nice hotel with confortable room. Sadly my room was very hot and I couldn't get the a/c to work. The breakfast is good, and the restaurant okay. It's very close from C-base which definitely require a visit!

Stayed for two nights. Room is clean and location is great. It's a bit too hot at night, and a doublebed is actually a combination of two single beds. If you sit in the middle, they will actually split.

Nice service staff. My 2tagiger stay was so great. Only I felt the hotel to be quite worn out. The floor on the hallways has been eg. Strongly Wavy & looked totally slipped out. Also in my shower the Amatur was very loose and I had the controller for cold/hot water twice in the hand despite careful operation. In the shower were at the joints on the floor also strong mold/stick stains. The mini bar was not cold because the fridge didn't work properly I guess.
The bed in turn was wonderfully comfortable with 3 pillows to choose from

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are big, stylish and comfy. The kitchen closes at 11 pm but there's a couple of places nearby to experience the typical berlin-esque food at night.

Modern facilities in the industrial style, the lobby and the common areas are cosy. The comfortable rooms and full breakfast. You have the metro very close, but you can walk to the center in a walk of about 15 min. By the banks of the river Spree. The staff very attentive and friendly.

Nice hotel, conveniently located near a subway station. Inner courtyard with tables and chairs to lounge about was great (though this may only be for the warm summer months). Otherwise pretty clean and efficient hotel. The room we had was small but sufficient, and the service good all around.

The Hotel is located in the backyard. From the street, you can expect to find behind the somewhat dilapidated facade not so pleasant atmosphere. My room was very nice, clean and quiet. We were in a group here. The dinner itself and the service back then remained significantly behind the expectations that I place in a four star Hotel.

For the placement of information in a small group (max 50 Pax) was suitable for the conference room perfectly. The Hotel is easy to reach with Public transport and design, with its inner Courtyard is unique in Berlin.

The room was large and clean, the bathroom had all the amenities you might need, and the hotel is in a small passage so there's no noise from the road. The breakfast (around €6 extra) is wonderful and worth it.

Pretty ok hotel nearby U-bahn. The rooms were quiet and simply furnished which gave a spartan feeling. Somewhat weird interior in the toilet. The staff was ok, some good, some less good. Overall I wouldn't rate this as a 4 star hotel.

Stayed here in August of 2015 for a week. This is a solid and well kept hotel, with an excellent breakfast bar and very modern rooms. It is an oasis of calm and relaxation in an otherwise fairly urban neighborhood. Pricing is perfect and the courtyard is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy bar beverages. The hotel staff are friendly and professional. I would totally recommend Catalonia to any of my friends who wish to stay in Berlin.

Beautiful rooms. Very comfortable beds. There are unfortunately no closet, just a rod of iron. Our room on the top floor had very nice views of the television tower. Cleanliness was sadly so-so. I had the feeling that we ever not was extracted. The shower was not properly fixed. The free toiletries had a strange smell. There is no parking lot, but there's always a place in the side streets. Overall the stay was good, just for cleanliness I expected more with the prices.

Highly recommended hotel. Speaks the Spanish world, they recommended sites where to visit, rent bikes, and breakfast and dinner very good. Rooms are modern and are great. The best: very well connected. Metro station is at 15 m.
