No service No Internet I would NOT recommend to stay there. I stayed there 4 nights. Any questions I have asked, did only received vague answers, with poor English. Even mocking me when I have asked if it was possible to change my pillow. " Where are you from? " or " it is the first time someone ask this! " Very poor service. Especially when you expect a service from a 3 Stars ACCOR hotel. Also, I couldnt stay connected for more than 5 minutes and had to go in the corridor to reconnect. Extremely uncomfortable.

Contrary to the reviews read before leaving, I found the hotel clean and the room wide and bright. We had a spectacular view of the television tower. Upon our arrival, on the bed, welcome gift. When the cleaning staff saw my broken toothbrush on the sink, they proceeded to leave 2 travel sets with toothbrush and toothpaste. The absence of air conditioning and refrigerator was a problem due to the exceptional heat these days. The location of the hotel is great. Very close to Alexanderplatz and well served by the means. In the room there was a kettle, tea, coffee and herbal teas to use freely.

Disappointing and not very hospitable. Upon arriving I was not specifically told when the included buffet breakfast times were on. I missed the buffet by literally 5 minutes one morning and was sternly told that it was unfortunate. I asked the front reception if it was even possible to take a piece of bread up to my room but was denied again. I was then forced to walk 20 minutes into the city to source my own breakfast. The room I stayed inside had not been well maintained. There was a hole in the bathroom door and various stains scattered all over the ceiling and floor/ walls. Only one elevator was working during the majority of my stay which made things very inconvenient. Overall not a great experience and would not stay here again.

It's a wonderful hotel for three stars. Breakfast is wonderful.

The hotel is in a great location for a place visit. The hotel is not up-to-date, but it is clean and the rooms are large. Would be back again and again for a city break in this hotel.

We booked a wheelchair accessible room and when our flight was delayed we rang the hotel to explain that we would be arriving a day later than planned but still required our room. When we arrived we were told they had no accessible room for us, the room they gave us did not enable the wheelchair to get into the bathroom. The Mercure was it pleasant and I would not recommend this place. The staff Were barely civil in their dealings with us and others. The two men who were on reception I found to be quite rude.

The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The lifts need replacing as the call buttons are taped to the wall! I was on floor 6 and the morning that I checked out the tape had given up and the button was hanging by the electrical cable. My room had the bed made and bathroom cleaned but the coffee mug was still where I left it when I returned to the room in the evening from using it the previous night. Tea, coffee etc was not replenished.

Comfortable hotel in the center of Berlin with nice cozy rooms.
A pleasant place for business people came to Berlin.

Rooms are spacious, location is good, but very noisy. Staff not helpful and not friendly. Bar overpriced. Small bottle of water unknown brand is €3.00. The hotel interior looks like you're back in time in 1980. Buttons on elevator salotaped. My advice to other people is: definitely go somewhere else.

We were a school group, and se were split up in different rooms. I Was in a double with other two girls and the room was too Little and the Wi-Fi Was too slow. But the Breakfast Was so good and Also the staff. Very close to the Centre near subway and shopping Centre.

Decent rooms, nothing crazy. Kept well. Clearly an east Berlin building, but not in a particularly bad way. Staff us friendly and ready to help.

The room was quite large, cozy and clean, unfortunately but in need of renovation because very old and partly no longer beautiful. An example would be the carpet or the wall. Also, there was always an unpleasant smell in the bathroom smell that did not locate.
Unfortunately, the same applies to the entire house, which can only be described as a run-down. An example is the carpet in the hallways or the operating element of the elevator, which hung on the cable dangling on the wall.
The breakfast had a good selection and was delicious, especially commendable here were the buns, however, on 2 consecutive days both bacon and the scrambled eggs were only lukewarm. The location of the hotel is good, in 10-15 minutes you can walk on Alexanderplatz, in front of the door there are several trams.

Hotel has already been in the years. Large rooms with balcony. Nice staff. Very good breakfast.

The hotel is centrally located. It was also with the advantages. Both my colleague and I have such a cold smoke-smelling room that we sleep in the center with open windows. On demand for explicit NR rooms, it was only answered that the whole floor was Nr. Even in the hallways it smells like that and I'm not a sensitive ex-smoker. Never smoked.
The furnishings are unused. In the BZ fall things from the wall, open holes in the tiles, the carpet is a brown imposition.
The breakfast is OK, with the classic snake in front of the coffee machine, which you tap yourself. Parking spaces are offered at 17, €90, but are neither in a garage, nor in any way closed, but also few — about 10. So you have to be there early or be lucky.
At the moment there is only one elevator for everyone! Incl. Cleaning staff… You can imagine how long you stand, or with 2 suitcases and a laptop bag, 8 floors would rather walk.
Don't understand the 4-5 star ratings… not really.

The hotel needs a whole lift up, it seems to reconstructions going on everywhere but not finishing any of them. The cleanliness could also be better. The best part is the views to the TV tower.

We stayed there for 1 night. Staff friendly, prices for the overnight stay OK. The rooms were very large, from the balcony we would have a nice view of the Alexanderplatz. Only €18 for a breakfast and 17, €50 for the in-house car park to which everyone has access I personally find too expensive.

For a giant building, it has a single elevator! You wait more than 15 minutes sometimes to be able to get off.

Very central. So very suitable for a city tour. But the cleanliness and modernity in the room leaves nothing to be desired.

Great location… pretty close to Alexanderplatz and all the trains, food, entertainment that it offers. The negative of being close to Alexanderplatz is that it can be loud pretty late into the night… police sirens, etc. Also right next door is the abandoned Stasi building — read the history of that place yikes! It is a budgety hotel and they do have a restaurant, but no room service dining… however all the amenities are there. Would definitely stay again.

Functional for an overnight stay with comfy beds. Does not look inviting from the outside and rooms need a renovation.

Rooms are in Ordnungng. Nothing special, but clean. Only the bathrooms are in part a joke. (I saw about 10 rooms and only one was good in the bathroom. ) Balcony is given in every room and are also relatively large.

The hotel itself is not even bad although it lacks a lot of cleanliness the real problem is the lack of professionalism and education of the staff hate Italians and do not send it to say outrageous I asked if there was at least one Italian channel and smiling they told me Absolutely no among other many things.

The hotel is centrally located and easy to reach. The rooms are lower average, the Wi-Fi is not immediately available and the condition of the balconies is poor. Breakfast, however, was more plentiful than expected.

Got the impression that it used to be an eastern Berlin apartment block! No air con so too warm in summer. Breakfast room staff very friendly — reception staff not so much.

Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz but also right next to tram so choice of walking or tram. Rooms a decent size, double bed was really to singles put together with two single duvets. Bathroom a little bit dated but overall the stay was nice with helpful staff. Bar could use some improvement or opening up to be more welcoming.

Sorry, for one night it's time. But the rooms, although clean, do not make you feel so really comfortable.
The street noise penetrates almost uninhibited, and for breakfast for the Aufbackbrötchen with scrambled eggs from the Tetrapack €18 demand — people, that would be better.

There are only 2 lifts that use to go up and down with the cleaning cars and you can not use the people who are staying. Breakfast very expensive for the little variety that there is. The service is not sympathetic.

Room very spacious and clean. Alexanderplatz within a few minutes walking distance. Bus and tram stops in front of the door. Price/performance fits.

I have not used the restaurant even on the second visit and can therefore not make an assessment.
The location is really top 5min walk to Alexander Platt and tram just outside the door.

They gave us a double balcony apartment with plenty of breakfast and rich sin from the mole of people present were struggling to replenish the food.

The Mercure Hotel What can I say about this hotel first of all the bedroom was ok it could have been more nicer. Our booking was for 2 nights our booking was for the 1th of December 2017 until the 3th of December 2017. When we went up to the reception. The girl couldn't find the booking on the computer then eventually she found it. When we went up to our bedroom there should have been 3 beds in the bedroom but it was only a double bed for my mother & father… so my father had to go back down & say to reception girl there should be another bed in the bedroom… the girl said Ah I didn't know there was 3 people staying… the bed that I did get was a sofa bed it was the most uncomfortable bed. But it did me for the 2 nights. The bedroom should have been a smoking room because when my sister-in-law booked it for us she booked a smoking bedroom but our bedroom was a non smoking room but we had a balcony so my mother went out to the balcony to smoke. The hotel right beside the Christmas Market there was entertainment in the bar there was someone singing & playing the piano… myself & my mother & father went into the hotel 2 evenings to have a drink… we would have liked to stay there but it was fully booked. There was supposed to be free Wi-Fi connection in the hotel. Myself & my father couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi we put the password in but it wouldn't connect.

Nice big apartment — similar rooms. The building used to be a house. Actually sad that the homes are going to be hotels. Good for tourists. Otherwise it is a good hotel.

The hotel is well located, it is clean. However the carpet and curtains would need to be changed. The shower is very small.

The hotel is in a central location, very convenient for travelling. Not too quiet late at night. The rooms are clean, spacious and with a beautiful view (we also had a balcony). The staff not too friendly but there is the possibility of the free baggage deposit.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very good and large for a 3 star hotel. Bathroom nice and clean. The only thing that bothers me is that water costs money.

The location is very central and close to both tram and train stations. The beds were average and our double bed was two singles slid together. There was no air-conditioning and as we were situated on a major intersection the noise with windows open was constant. The curtains also did a poor job of blocking sunlight in the morning. The room had no bar fridge which made storing any drinks impossible. The room was spacious, the shower was not.

Two days to get there, two day and one night to stop the snow frost to restrain us so, great hotel service and cleanliness, only thing the garage is outdoors and no prying eyes.

Despite the spacious rooms (old apartment of East Germany). The sound of trams is very present.
The ambiance suite rooms are still offered for a good value for money.

Nice hotel, good cleanliness, rooms are spacious with balcony and also wanting nice warm. The breakfast is rich, the hotel is well connected and close to the area with several local.

Clean, tidy, quiet hotel. Spacious room also equipped with water kettle. There is not a mini fridge, but patience. Expensive breakfast (18 euros per head per day), better DIY. Convenient location for everything.

The hotel is economy class. There's no air conditioning. The furniture is simple. Huge balcony. From the window view of the road.

Room was not so clean. The extra bed was in a bad condition and almost does not beschlaf bar. Service at the reception was, in part, good. Very busy location.

Adequate. I had a high floor room at the end of the hallway, so there was a little terrace, which was very nice. Unfortunately being over the street with the trams means there is a LOT of noise from about 5 in the morning until around midnight, so if it's warm and you have to leave the windows open bring earplugs. Most of the rooms don't face this way so they might not be as noisy. The breakfast is absurdly overpriced — go to the cafe next door or the one across the street.

Nothing wrong with the hotel, great location, clean etc but the staffs attitude let it down a lot. Very rude and arrogant at times.

Good choice as business hotel in Berlin. Rooms are well designed and have space. Hotel is a little bit too far away from the U-public transport. Breakfast is much overpriced, already in general but also for what is offered. OK for a short term stay in business or private.

Food was unfortunately only average. The room was nice and Big, the beds were also BequemGute Info's at the front Desk what everything is in the environment.

Not again. Loud, not welcoming and really too expensive.

Really unwelcoming (on the borderline of being plain rude) behaviour towards us by the staff, maybe because we were not from Germany. Not at all helpful nor kind, compared to other hotels at european cities we have visited. Try booking somewhere else. Oh, did I mention the crap, out-of-date communist building.
