The room smells sewer, and is far from restaurants, and is a long way to the subway.

We stayed in Berlin for two nights, to have enough time to explore the hightlights of the city. The Fjord Hotel offered us a nice and clean room at a great location, for a good price. Very friendly and helpful staff that have good advice on where to go in Berlin for dinner and/or drinks. Two metro stations are equally close, offering good connectability to most of the city. Potsdamer Platz and Brandenburger Tor are at a walking distance. The neighbourhood heading south on Potsdamer Strasse is not so touristic, offering cheaper dinner options.

We've been here a few times. It was always beautiful. After the reconstruction it is even more homely. Now that you are being approached, it makes it a bit more beautiful and homely. Thank you very much.

Clean and simple. Was surprised to find no air conditioning but they did supply a small fan so it wasn't bad. They got the room ready before 3pm so that's a plus as well.

A star print is available for renovation work in the hotel. Unfortunately, the craftsmen started drilling at 7 a. M.
Parking in front of the hotel is unfortunately not enough. The hotel's car park was also full. We did not take advantage of the breakfast offer.

Paid nearly 1400 Eu for a 4-night stay. Maybe I'm just not calibrated with Berlin prices, but at that rate I was expecting a luxury hotel, not a merely serviceable hotel (nice staff, good breakfast spread, adequate Wi-Fi). Actual nits are minor: room doors don't automatically lock. The only iron available to guests is in the basement, in a mostly-unlit corner, doesn't work well, and requires asking the staff to set it up for you when they have a moment. Room hot in summertime, comes with a fan, but leaving the window open doesn't cool down well, gives you middle-of-the-night wakeups from smokers or extremely loud music outside. I don't think I'd complain at half the price.

Super great hotel prices acceptable in the middle of the city was now the 2nd time here and very much to peace, I can only recommend to anyone here to stay.

Great Hotel for multi-day stays.

We were now a guest for the second time in the fjord at Potsdamer Platz. The staff are very friendly and welcomed us with open arms on their second visit. The rooms are decorated in a "feel-good atmosphere". This includes carpet flooring and rooms with names of different sizes such as "small finesse". You feel really comfortable. Therefore, the next visit to Berlin in the Fjord will be booked. Oh yes: The prices are really cheap! Simply book early enough and feel good.

"Plain" is stated in the description. That is relatively correct. Rooms, breakfast and also the service move in rather shallow waters. Also the cleanliness would be still able to expand. But if you put the prices in relation, it would be presumptuous to complain about it. All in all a fair hotel.

Clean quiet and comfortable. Friendly and attentive staff. Only had breakfast once but was quite good value. Eat as much as you liked. As my wife has a minimal breakfast ie a coffee or tea and one slice of toast maximum this option was not available.

Unfriendly staff! The shockingly rude lady at the desk denied me Iron, saying it is too late at 10:00 pm. I had to go to my important early morning meeting with an un-pressed shirt! The room was very cheap, e. G. The washroom had no soap, shampoo or toothpaste; just a big drum of soap-pump attached in the middle of the bathroom. We were expected to use that as hand-wash or shampoo… Just one bucket of soap! Felt like a cheap student place. Location is a bit dodgy; I think it’s next to council flats. Especially at night it felt very unsafe. Big burly guys in jammies walking their bull terriers (dogs) didn't help either. If you can afford to spend bit more money than Avoid and get a proper hotel. Otherwise bring your soap and Iron, and phone in inside pocket if you don’t fancy getting mugged.

This is a nice, clean hotel in a good location. It's 5 minute walk (if that) to the nearest U-Bahn station or a 10 minute walk to Potsdamer Platz S-Bahn station. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Many of Berlin's attractions are all within walking distance of the hotel. With plenty of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants in the area there is something for everyone. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a nice hotel. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Only reason not 5 stars is that it's not right at a U station, although there are 3 nearby stations.

This place was okay. The staff spoke English and being an American that definitely helped. The staff was very friendly and courteous! The only down side to our stay is that the hotel isn't air conditioned and that during our entire 3 night stay they never replaced our towels for the bathroom. Otherwise everything else was great! We were really close to Potsdamer Platz, a major shopping area. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay but is very nice (with no A/C) then this is it!

Clean rooms, so I my strobes blank. You will feel right at home in your room. Sleep I like a baby, better than at home. (What's going da wrong please? ;-) )
It is really quiet around so that calm can be on the window.
At the reception you will be greeted enthusiastically. All questions will be answered: How do I get at best in the city, where can you go in the evening, etc.
I love food, so the breakfast for me is very important and there's nothing to complain about. For €13, you get everything you want and a tad bit more. Cereals, fresh fruit, bread rolls, great jam and cold cuts. Coffee, milk, eggs, juices, sparkling wine (where one has Yes exactly sparkling wine, for that please? )
Yoghurt and much more. It is always placed after. Even if is something else on the plate, it is populated.
And the coffee, hmmmm tasty.
I recommend the book costs to order a car park, a little bit, but then you have to look close not afterwards.
At the reception, there is an Apple and water free times for the small thirst and hunger.
Get everywhere from the hotel on foot. We had to take not even the bus or the train. Bus not worth of the tour in my eyes, when you're walking. We (my family, 60, 34 and 32 years old) good 45 km run on arrival Friday-Saturday and have seen it all. Friday from 15: 00 to 01:00 and on Saturday from 10: 00 until ca 01:30, at the time we visited some cafes and restaurants, which you would have otherwise overlooked.

This is a great hotel. Centrally located with a delicious breakfast. It's in a quite neighbourhood with great local access to public transportation. The only issue would be the Wi-Fi which was really patchy.

I was in the last weeks regularly for professional reasons at the fjord Hotel Berlin. It is, for my work at the Potsdamer Platz, well located. The staff was always very friendly and the rooms and decor are as much always have been appropriate. Contact, payment & co. Were always correct and reliable. The bathroom should be improved. There is no Zahnbecher — I entfremde here for getting the glass out of the Mini Bar and the shower curtains cannot prevent the shower water into the rest of bathroom sprays. Since we get the fast times Accidentally wet socks. The curtains should be really resistant doors to be replaced. Unfortunately, the sought-after free W-LAN is very unstable and breaks down regularly. There should be times, it is rather slow. Thus, it is practically not usable. The Breakfast is for the offered, with 12, 50€ after I feel a little too expensive. A typical, solid hotel Breakfast without any real Highlights. For example, no salmon offered, what I have in the price range already would expect. Even if my assessment of critical sounds, I'm still with the Hotel totally satisfied and will continue to come forth. I hope that my suggestions be understood as such and one day implemented.

I hope it is right next to a beach lol.

Fjord Hotel Berlin. Centrally located. A smaller Hotel, if you do it with the established chain Hotel compares but you will feel upon arrival a "warm Welcome" and relaxed quiet away from the hustle and bustle! something hidden at the Landwehrkanal. But without wheels, you must already "it's good to walk"! The U-Bahn but in a few minutes easy to reach. A very neat and with love angerichtetes Breakfast Buffet einenem Momentum for the day. The rooms are simple, modern and very clean! All in all a perfect stay, recommended, and "again"! C+M Gutte, Cologne, Germany.

It is a three-star justito. The situation well and the air conditioning with radiators from before. Evil the image of the room that appears on the web page then causes you to take a disappointment. The staff very friendly.

I was by this hotel that I had chosen for me perfect location very pleasantly surprised, the large and beautiful rooms as well as the delicious breakfast were very good and unquestionably recommended 4-star level.

I was the first Time in Berlin and I am excited about this beautiful city, especially around the holiday season around. The Hotel was also very nice, well located and very well equipped. Only the lack of toothbrush tumbler would be a noticeable defect, but that was fine delicacies at the reception offset. Staff was always approachable, friendly and lösungsorintiert. Merry Christmas!

A super nice, modern, and tastefully furnished hotel; but it would be nice, if the CEO of this hotel would even try to have breakfast here at a weekend alone. The staff is super, efforts quite always to every guest, but if the crockery and the space in the breakfast room is not enough (6 guests waiting to be freed up seats), constantly assume the glasses, the cereal bowls, plates, the rolls, the scrambled eggs, ham, etc. Then not really fun. Let's try a breakfast tea from the small coffee cup drink (not there's no teapots, größereTeebecher also), we have switched to cocoa, and no thank you tried on two days!
Never again fjord hotel, unfortunately! I'm really wondering when and where the other judges have had breakfast, I really have never experienced, and have only regrets the staff, and helped him in the clearing.

Really clean and very quiet Hotel with close proximity to all the "attractions" of Berlin. U-Bahn in the immediate vicinity, the Brandenburg gate are there to walk some 2 km. What more could you want. The rooms could use a little more spacious, but you want to be in Berlin and not in the Booth squat :-). A suggestion, however, at the price range: it should be on the rooms absolutely a small coffee maker or at least a kettle for tea and coffee, is now almost Standard everywhere, at least in the star area. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about, nice staff, very good — though not quite so cheap — Frühstückstücksbuffet, a Hotel I would again at any time book!

Well furnished, kind staff, rich breakfast in variety, and clean. One thing I point-out that especially for women the washstand is very dark (in case of my room). Overall, if I come to Berlin again I will stay.
