Great hotel, subway nearby, to potsdamer place 15 minutes on foot. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, free coffee at the exit.

Great hotel for families with very spacious rooms. The room could be divided into two halves by movable last light walls to ensure some privacy. Friendly staff. Breakfast choice is limited and not so tasty. There is a S — Bahn station very close to the hotel building, which is very convenient for city commute.

Comfortable and clean rooms with good amenities. I really appreciated that the shower and toilet were separate so no-one had to wait for the bathroom to be free. The staff were also friendly and approachable. The bar was also a good place to hang out at the end of the day with a wide selection of drinks. The hotel is situated in an ideal location close to Check Point Charlie and within general walking distance of most touristy spots along with cafes and shops. If I were to visit Berlin again I would stay here again. I'd also recommend this place to friends.

Excellent location, close to public transportation. Breakfast buffet was great too. Area seems very safe good for families. A very minor negative was the room was a little dated but everything was clean well.

Cheap, cozy hotel rooms. The location is not bad, close to the sights. The breakfasts for the three-star hotel are great.

Well — you can't pay golf and want to have a Mercedes. In terms of price, the hotel already goes ok. The room was large and clean. The toilet was a bit small and the windows were difficult to dim. The breakfast was good but unfortunately the air conditioning was down throughout the hotel — at over 30 degrees …

Good option for families-room for four is quite big. There is a small kitchen but without any equipmemt like spoon or mugs, only paper cups are available. Toailett is very small and from the beginng the smell of it was not nice. After closing windows for the night (street noise is huge) room air is getting really hot, bring a light pyjamas. Anyone can get to the hotel — there is no need to put hotel card in the elevator and there is so many hotel guests that reception workers are unable to guess who is who, so… Anyway we liked it, hotel is situated in a very good place to see all Berlin top places.

MegaLAUT to the courtyard side. Trucks are loaded up to 22 and from 5:30. Sleep with ' window open ' can be kinky. Rooms are otherwise nice and comfortable and clean.

Very central location, good value for money. Very comfortable room for bed, and amenities; the sofa bed on the other hand is not recommended if you weigh more than 25kg! For children it's okay, not for adults, we feel the springs. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. But the situation makes all these little negative points forget.

The Hotel was very clean and comfortable. A ten minute walk from Potsdamer Platz, and next to S-Bahn Anhalter Bahnhof, the hotel is spacious and quite quiet. I had a very spacious and well-distributed family room, truly comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is a highly recommended option and with excellent value for money.

Location is good. It's only 3 minutes walk away from Anhalter subway station. It was so convenient that we could go to the major place of Berlin very fast and easily. Very clean room and nice ambiance … I really loved it.

This hotel has the best breakfast in Europe! Rooms are spacious and beds are so comfortable. I love to stay at this chain hotel everywhere I go. Staff is very polite and attentive. They have limited parking underground for extra charge. Location is great! Near Checkpoint Charlie and there is a train station right around the corner.

Very nice room with ample space. I had a very nice reception. The hotel bar is appealing and the bartender is top! Unfortunately, the breakfast is a little disappointing. Coffee only at the vending machine, the tables are not covered. I had the impression that breakfast was a necessary evil to be offered. That's a pity.

I want to start with the room. Really nice and also clean. There is a free water bottle, a small fridge and a microwave as well as a kettle. So it would be easy to prepare even small snacks. Bathroom and eh are separate which is also very advantageous with partner. A large bed and a huge blanket and 4 pillows. I slept very well. Wouldn't be the housekeeping. I have asked for extra when I need to check out. At 12. So I turn the knob on please do not disturb. And then, from about 9 o'clock every half hour, the cleaning lady appears in the middle of the room and calls housekeeping. I woke up and she went back in the moment and slammed the door behind her. I couldn't really relax. So all good, but always the danger that suddenly someone is standing in the room, despite the extra-supposed closing feature. 2 star deduction.

Beautuiful hotel. Everyone working there is super nice and they're always willing to help with any problem you may have. The breakfast is amazing. A lot of different options to choose from so whatever you may like to have for breakfast I'm sure you'll find it there. Rooms are super clean and really nice. There's a lot of space so you have where to put your bags and stuff. It's really like a mini apartment.

We are a family with two kids and found the family room available to be very reasonably priced when compared with other hotels in the area. We were comfortable in the room and there was a kettle with a good selection of teas. It is a ten minute walk to Potsdamer Platz and there is an underground station around the corner. It is a good base from which to explore Berlin. It got very crowded at breakfast time and they didn't have enough tables to accommodate everyone so sent people to the ibis down the road. We didn't really appreciate the fact that they made us wait so long and then started clearing everything away. The quality of the food on offer was not that good either.

Booked room for 4. Spacious and clean with water kettle and microwave a comfy breakfast table. Central area at a Metro stop from Potsdammer Platz convenient stops line S and bus close by. Supermetcato Lidl on your doorstep.

Without being of the best hotels where I have been, it highlights the spaciousness of the rooms, the general cleanliness and the power to get coffee or infusions and buns every morning even if you don't have breakfast. Very close to the subway.

The hotel is perfect for a short stay, it is conveniently located (a few S-Bahn stops from the center). However the kitchenette very useful to put a bottle of water in cool does not allow to be fully exploited since it does not have utensils to use it optimally.

The hotel is centrally located in Berlin, within walking distance to check Point-Charly. It is clean and functional. The breakfast is usually the croissants were particularly tasty. The young and friendly staff is worth mentioning.

If you get to adequate prices will be all super. Spacious rooms. The presence of a microwave and a refrigerator makes accommodation especially comfortable. There is a parking lot (paid) in 50 meters s-bahn. Potsdamerplatz 7 minutes on foot or one stop. Next to the box-charlie check. And the former Berlin Wall.

A very nicely located hotel in Alexander Platz area, rooms are cool, nice interior, helpful staff and good Wi-Fi. Only drawback was that Toilet was very small like in Trains. Would recommend for a short stay in Berlin for solo travelers / family.

The hotel is correct. But at the time we have been staying we have not changed the towels, nor have they spare tissue tissues nor have they sucked the carpet.

Exellent Hotel — great location to make Christmas markets in December (easy access from the airport)

A lovely place, the rooms have a lot of light, clean everywhere, very quiet. Breakfasts on weekends until 11 a. M. Good Wi-Fi everywhere.

Lovely room provided, the layout of the room is well designed. Very modern and clean. They have a 24 hour gym and a 10 minute free massage session every Thursday. The room service is great and is left in a good condition. The people are very nice. They do not have a restaurant. If you want food, you need to go to IBIS hotel, which is just next door.

Great location, who wants to see many wacky tourists is right here. Nice big suites.

Great hotel and service. Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is ok. When the breakfast hall was full, the hotel sent us to the Ibis next door to take breakfast there for free, there must be some kind of arrangement between the hotels, which is good. Staff are extremely friendly and help out very efficiently. Hey kid friendly. Only complaint is that the lifts are very slow and make a lot of noise in the night.

In my bed there were strange hairs and in the bathroom unfortunately also still.
Truck deliveries from 5:30 pm in the yard.
Breakfast nothing special, but everything there. Unfortunately too crowded and the service does not come after me to clear the tables, or knives and glasses are out.

The concept is good. Room/Suiten with small kitchenette and microwave. But pretty run down. Room not well cleaned. Guests practically exclusively school groups therefore the breakfast completely overflowing and very uncomfortable. I can't get there anymore.

They cancelled our room despite notification of late arrival. Receptionist started conversation with we have the right… well maybe but I don't call that good customer service! After a lot of ummm and ahhhh they found us a room. It's in a very noisy location with a building site opposite and drilling starting at 7am. Not the usual novotel standard.

Very centrally located hotel in Berlin. Most of the attractions are easy to get to from the hotel. We stayed in the family room and loved it. We found the breakfast selection basic but otherwise everything was in order at the hotel.

Nice and friendly hotel. The breakfast buffet was smaller than I've been used to from other Novotel hotels but still good. Walking access to important tourist spots also a plus.

The multilingual staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel has good access to the city via the station nearby and local bus services. The bar has a large selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. The rooms are larger than normal hotels. The beds are very comfortable, but there seemed to be an absence of pillows on some beds. The bathroom, with walk in shower and large bath, is separate to the toilet. There is no clear instructions for the soap dispensers, which caused an issue, we later found out that is is dispensed by sqeezing the plastic container. The TV is large and has many channels from all around the world. There is little noise cancelling as you can hear noisy people walking down the corridors when trying to sleep. The beds make a loud noise sometimes, which may be heard in other rooms. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room. Overall, it was a nice stay in a nice hotel in a nice location.

Classic Novotel offer. Good location Only flaw the hair dryer comes quietly with the wire to the bathtub, to say little dangerous. Breakfast however too expensive.

My room was actually a junior suite: Sitting area, minibar, microwave, kettle with various tea and coffee available, double bed, satellite TV and two bathrooms including one with bathtub and shower cubicle. Generous breakfast and hot drinks distributor available until 11am, 30.

Very well located hotel close to Potsdamer Platz and the topography of the terrors. The room can be divided into two by Japanese panels. This allowed us to sleep with our five-month-old daughter while eating next door.

Nice place, close to the metro and two minutes from the center! Only Pekka are the lifts, really too slow.

Hotel a little ageing, the blinds are not occult. The staff are friendly and helpful, the suites have a nice area and I was fortunate to have the view of Alexanderplatz and the Fernsehturm. The bar closes at 9:00. Ideally located 10 minutes from the Potsdamerplatz and public transport not very far (bus and Metro). Check Point Charlie and topography of the terrors are also very close.

The location is great, 1 min walk to the subway although you can walk to many of the main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable the bartender gave us free cake, what more could you ask for? Well, I had … let's call it a moment. I left a large sum of cash in my room and didn't realize it until I was on the furthest east side of the Czech Republic. I called the hotel and the cash was insured and in the mail as soon as Ms Katharina Adrian got off of her shift. She went above and beyond her duties as a receptionist (which I happen to be as well) and even though I offered to pay her she refused. A hotel that has staff like this is hard to come by and I'm speaking from inside experience. If you are in Berlin definitely give this place a go. On an interesting historical side note the hotel is where the old SS offices used to be. Ps — give Ms Katharina Adrian a pay raise, she deserves it.

I used to stay in this hotel in August. This is my opinion: good location, spacious room, great for family, we were three. Cons: there are only 2 lifts and then long waits to get on and off, long waits for breakfast … little table availability (reception area becomes breakfast area! ), Wi-Fi present but not functioning.

Very nice concept with great room by a room divider can be separated. The idea of a small Suite to create with very many amenities such as large TV, shower and bath, separate toilet, separate Couch and a movable work / dining table has a charm that evokes but also a Anspruchhaltung in some areas, again disappointed. So is a module in the bath, a toilet and a sort of a small integrated kitchen are well-equipped, but just only plastic which is constantly creaks and cracks. The air conditioning comfort as only partially over it, especially if you also have your Breakfast, enjoy want. Here loses the initial Surprise again, because there is nothing offered, what this Gesamtanspruch could do justice to, except for the delicious coffee from the coffee machines. If in this area are still 2-3 Shovel to up the ante can be, this could be my new Stammhotel in Berlin…

Very good hotel, very central and quiet. I've been twice already and I will be back. There is a metro stop and is close to the Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate and very close to many tourist attractions and museums. Large room and bed very comfortable. What I strongly recommend.

Nice and clean but minimalist.

Surprisingly excellent! Was looking for a hotel for smoking parents and stumbled across this one absolutely accidentally. It was a nice surprise! Very comfortable, friendly stuff, a room has two showers (a bathroom and a shower), separate toilet, kettle, microwave, refrigerator, safety-deposit box and even cozy sofa for guests (there is a kind of shutter to separate the room in two in case a guest stays overnight). Many shelvs, big table, adjustable lights — just makes one feel at home. Though there is no balcony, smoking is allowed in the room itself! Which is a special bonus for smokers in Germany, where smoking is banished from hotels. Идеальный вариант для курящих — при том, что отелей для курящих в Берлине мало, это замечательно место, приятное и намного уютнее многих. Очень дружелюбный и неназойливый персонал.

Very large room with only the bathroom was a little small.

This hotel has it all. Close to some of the coolest sites (check point charlie; topography of terror), the subway and regional trains, and some good eats (hard rock cafe). The rooms are very nice and quite large for European standards. Highly recommend! Stayed November 2012, traveled with family.

Very good hotel in the price-quality relation, with a superb location. If I go back to the fascinating Berlin, there I will be.

Good standard, nice placing in the city and nice prices. I will surely stay here the next time I visit berlin :).
