Hotel

The hotel has only one star. The double room was small. There was no wardrobe. We only had one towel, we could sort this out. The wallpaper was dirty in many places. The breakfast was o. K. The toilet paper was probably 2-layered. If you want to pay little, you can stay here for 2 days.

This hotel is side by side with the Ibis budged. After staying in both places the only things which this Ibis adds on top of the budged option is the fact that the breakfast has more food options such as not only apples but bananas and pears, and so on. Beds as as confortable as budged but rooms are bigger and in better condition.

Good value hotel. Comfortable beds, clean, the aircon works and the breakfast is very good.

Beware of smoked rooms.

It was exactly as expected. The service was good but not exceptional, and the rooms were clean/upkept well. Good hotel, just doesn't surpass expectations.

Nice and comfortable hotel. Room is spacious, but the bathroom reminded us of that on a cruise ship. We were close to a subway stop, so it was easy to get around and to and from the train station.

Beautiful ibis with excellent location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are, however, perfectly fine in the modular principle. Only the underground car park is, as is customary in Berlin, an absolute imposition. The black stripe leftovers on the walls confirm that. Here I do not understand why you do not simply calculate 50cm more during the planning. With a larger station wagon or a small transporter, every — or parking becomes a horroscope scenario.

A beautiful Hotel in Superlage, close to The Anhalter Train station and many Attractions. The Room was large, Bathroom and TOILET a bit small, while the Shower was really spacious.
And best of all: The Air Conditioning, a Dream in this Heat outside.
Also top: The large and comfortable Bed.
Only the Restaurant gives some Point deduction. There are better Addresses in the Area for Dining.

Good hotel. Room very clear, nice and fast staff. Very good localization, near touristic points, subway and bus station. Keeps the Ibis standards. Just the breakfast is not good, so it's better spend your money eating nearby.

The hotel meets the minimum standard for a 2-star hotel. The rooms are not very large but clean.
To the street side it is relatively noisy, to the courtyard is much quieter.
The breakfast buffet is a bit too small for the due price, but offers everything that the normal person needs for breakfast.
The staff is friendly.

Nice and tidy rooms with pleasing atmosphere and welcoming staff. The bald night manager at the desk is an asset, very helpful and polite. Fine breakfast and location is just perfect if you are into sight seeing and exploring the rich museums full of heritage and history of Germany.

A modern but simple hotel. The bathroom is small but clean. For one night in order, several nights I would not book there. Falcons gave me that it was very clean everywhere UBD the staff are very friendly.

Good hotel in very good location. The hotel is located at the S train station hitchhiker station, from where you can easily reach all parts of the city. The hotel itself is well equipped. At 100 mt from the S-Bahn that connects you to the airport of Schoenefeld, this hotel offered a small but comfortable room at an extremely affordable price (although breakfast was not included).

Love the vibe of this hotel, perfect walking distance for the Berlinale Film Festival and European Film Market. The staff is super helpful, the bar is great for meetings, the rooms are efficient and very modern (more East than West Berlin style aka funky). Would love to see the kitchen offer lighter fare; more salads, a couple of soups… not everyone can handle the calories of schnitzel and sandwiches… Having had them twice they ARE Delicious. Highly recommend this hotel for the business traveller and tourist alike.

I am professionally in Berlin (12 days) and from the first day were very cordially received by the staff. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds comfortable. Breakfast does not leave any wishes open. The location is wonderful. I'm sick during my stay. I was taken care of. There was tea and fresh sheets without any problems. I can only recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

The evening reception at our arrival has left us very much to be desired. Unpleasant staff, who should not appreciate the tourists. I had to bring proof of the breakfast reservation in addition to the room rate! Be careful when you book directly via the IBIS website. Computer problem being said.
Well-located hotel to visit (10 min from the East Center). Rooms and comfort minimized. Breakfast is not worth its price either (no pastries, fruit salad, German specialities. ).
However, the receptionist in the morning is very nice and you have the option to leave your luggage in storage.

The rooms are clean and the hotel is well accessible by public transport from the hitchhiking station. It is easy to walk to Potsdamer Platz and then to the Brandenburg Gate, etc.
The rooms are clean as noted before, but they should be renewed. The "bathroom" looks more like a public toilet. Everything is plastic, from the floor to the wall. And also the color combination of mint-green and orange reminds more of the 70s.
For people who only want to sleep there, the hotel is sufficient.

Best IBIS I have stayed at. Room was basic but clean and tidy with a nice bed. Staff were friendly and helpful and it's just a minutes walk from the underground.

Great location, close to several S bahn and U bahn. Perfect for a few days, but if you want to stay more in Berlin I do not recommend it. Rooms not clean, friendly staff. For 5 nights they did not change the sheets and we had to ask for the phone which in the room was not present. They gave us bail of 20 dollars. I've been to other Ibis Budget and the experience was different.

For a short stay OK. Hotel "relatively" clean (see pictures). The hotel and rooms have been heavily renovated. Price-performance is just no longer right. There are many better hotels that are cheaper. The very bad slow Wi-Fi is also disappointing, reminiscent of ISDN. For faster bandwidth you should pay €6!

The rooms are tidy; The hotel is centrally located. And — you have to say this — the staff is super friendly and very helpful! Absolutely recommended! I'm coming back!

Good hotel, central and functional.

Some good local facilities and well-placed for transport links to the rest of the city. Fine for a brief city break.

Not in Potsdamer platz. Not many bars or restaurants around but hotel bar good. Rooms basic. No coffee making facilities.

Location is not Potsdammer Platz as the name misleadingly suggests. In fact it is at least 15 minute walk away. Rooms and facilities fine. Staff not the friendliest.

Unloved and expensive. Frustrated and annoyed employees. Had an action room booked (see picture) very noisy the elevator kept us awake all night.

The location of the hotel is outstanding! Perfect connections to the Graz and only 10 min walkway to Potsdamer Platz. Other sights are also within walking distance.

No room service! Nobody helped with nothing… I had problems with A/C and fan and nobody did nothing to fixed… not good staff.

It was pleasant to stay at Ibis Anhalterstrasse. It was near the touristic places. It was very easy to take the U bahn S bahn and the buses. Nice hotel, nice staff. Every day house keeping service.

Cheap and cheerful accommodation within easy walking distance of Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz and more. Rooms are basic but comfortable, with firm but spacious beds. Showers are ok, bathrooms are compact "pod" shapes that feel as if they have been added to the room after development. Small televisions in each room and no luxuries like irons, tea/coffee or mini bar. Also only one plug socket that is annoyingly placed high on a wall away from a table. Staff are courteous and the bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. Breakfast is continental in style, and varies in price depending on the time you attend. Overall, a perfectly fine place to stay if you want a comfortable no frills hotel that is reasonably priced and in a decent part of town, but not a 'exciting' hotel.

Great location at 600 m from Potsdamer Platz and in front of typography of terror, a few hundred meters from Charlie Check-Point.

The hotel is located close to public transport and one of the main streets where you can find shops, restaurants and cafes. The rooms are spacious and clean, though essential. All in all a good hotel in relation to the price.

Not very clean (dust fluff), very hot, you just tilt the window might! Thus, it was not to think of sleep.

At first glance, the (small) rooms are clean and tidy. At second glance, but several used condoms behind the TV and remnants of the packaging in a condom under the bed were found. The cleaning staff is obviously not thorough enough in relation to their clientele. "Can happen even" says is the indulgent customer who's abandoned trying to be King in a city that wants to be poor but sexy, and only ask the staff at the front desk to remove the remnants of the previous inhabitants of rooms within the next hour.
In view of our lack of rebellion back to get another room assigned to, it would have been desirable to get a compensation or similar — albeit only a bag jelly beans (and I don't like that) or perhaps a new pack of still unused condoms? ) or very practical: the adoption of parking in the garage or The breakfast on the House. — Then I would have been there for needed to document my negative experience at this hotel here. (But this is probably already pretty regardless of a hotel in this location. )
Positive: for €10 a very good breakfast at a very good time (the buffet is open until 11: 00 at weekends and up to 12 guests must visit).
Also negative: from the drain of the sink, a disgusting smell in the nose rises a pressing of the faucet. — Clean the drain perhaps times!
The Windows can only tilt up — unless you signs a self disclaimer or similar for the potential jump out the window. Then the lock with a key is lifted well :-).

The hotel is OK but the reception guys are so cold and rude. They just try to ignore you. Really did not like the staff attitude.

The hotel is very simple, but offers quite a good compensation for the money. Rooms, although small, are clean and have air conditioning. Nice breakfasts and pleasant service.

Very simple rooms but they are clean and cheap compared with other hotels in the area. My one complaint is that although you get free internet access, it's heavily throttled and therefore slow, good only for email and very light internet usage. You can however pay an additional for faster internet connection. I hate when hotels do this.

We had a room with a double bed and a transverse bed over it. Looked very modern. Everything is compact but practical planned. 2 normal built people fit in the shower.
Walking is hitch-hiking station in 10-15 min at Potsdamer Platz and 5 min to the S-Bahn stop.
To recommend for short visits
-due to a missing Cabinet weekly stays are not recommended.

The quality of the room: Satisfactory, bald without a friendly part. No picture on the wall, strange plastic lamps. In a corner of the room turn brown part. Turns out to be as wet room, I would say an over-sized laundry room camping. The Chambermaid was on Saturday at 8:45 in the room. Breakfast as in the fast food restaurant on the corner. One of my worse nights, we were three nights there, only alone the location of Ibis is a plus.

First thing to say about this budge Ibis is of course its cheap. However for the same price we stayed in the Ibis in Munich which was way better. The first thing you notice about the rooms is that they are small and crammed but you get used to it after a day or two. The double bed is comfortable but really annoying that a bunk bed is tucked up on top. Not the best view to look up at and a ladder is to the left of the double bed. Best of all though is that Wi-Fi is available free through out the hotel. The location is within in easy reach of Potsdamer Platz.

Excellent hotel; rooms modern and very clean. Lobby facilities good with helpful desk, nice cafe (for breakfast), and a bar to kill time on short delays. Metro station (Anhalter Bahnhof) close by and there are also some local bars and restaurants. About 15 minute walk to Potsdamer Platz (despite the Hotel's name! ) for larger scale shopping and only 30 minutes on foot to the Brandenburg Gate. I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who needs a holiday or business hotel. Very good value for money.

I was here with a children's sports team. The rooms are really nice and the whole surroundings is also great. The only something peculiar was the prepayment at the time of check-in. You can settle this with a group with an Aconto transfer, but this was not desired by the hotel. Slightly annoying, if you stand around midnight at the front desk and around 15 children around gripe that they finally want to your room.
For that, the staff is really on Zack.

Hotel everything was OK. We had a problem of understanding and had to pay 2 times a room but following explanations, the hotel reimbursed us for the unoccupied room and this with apologies. Hat!
