I don't understand the bad ratings. On the first floor everything was fine. Sure it can be louder like in every other hostels, this is why you should bring earplugs when staying in a hostel. The commonroom was amazing — reminds me of the great hall in Hogwarts! The wooden bunk beds also seemed solid and were comfortable for me. I would recomment the hostel especially for groups.

Fair prices, friendly staff and above all respectful of dissidents. Even if I was only there for two nights, I can only recommend the pigs.

Awful — don’t book here — horrible customer service, charged even after US citizens are barred from entering the country. Refused to refund, ignored emails. Awful.

Sadly three little pigs are not interested in the COVID-19 issues travelers are facing and are happy to charge high cancelation fees. I would track wider this booking and look elsewhere. The booking. Com app is unhelpful In this instance also.

Great hostel, great hospitality.

We stayed around 10 nights at the hostel. The location is spectacular as are most of the people who work there. If it is not for one of the attendants at the reception desk, he does so with a very bad predisposition and with a certain negativity. Another thing to highlight is the cleanliness, both in the rooms and in the bathrooms (missing and a lot, how they make a little pass and that's it).

Extremely decent place for its price. In addition, atmospheric (former convent, as far as I know). Ten minutes of walking to the center. On the ground floor you can take discount tickets, for example, for two tickets somewhere for the price of one. The only negative: rather steep stairs, a toy elevator and a confusing layout of the building, because of which it was necessary to get to the room every time bypassing and through the labyrinths. And the rest — great :)

Well located and comfortable room. Friendly staff, option to securely leave luggage foyer. Local ALDI an additional bonus. Shower had a low flow rate but was quickly resolved. Lift was not operational for most of my stay.

The hostel is located off the street which made it very quiet. The staff was helpful and they were there 24 hours. We stayed on the fifth floor room and we shared the bathroom and shower with the rest of the floor. The place was clean and practical. The big hall at the entrance and the room were a bit warm the days we were there. Perhaps it was because it was August in Berlin but I think having a bigger fan in the rooms and a ceiling fan in the large hall would help. Probably better for bigger groups and not for a couple.

It's a good hostel. Clean, nice beds, good staff. The lot with the windows open overlooking the courtyard is a bit noisy. And so, a good hostel.

Centrally located, knowledgeable and polite staff. Breakfast is €6, but you get a large variety of all-you-can-eat food. Reasonably clean. The only complaint we had with our stay was that it tended to get a little loud at night, but that could have been due to the large school group that was there at the same time. Be aware that individuals under 18 cannot stay in shared dormitories and can only stay in private rooms if accompanied by someone over 18 and with written parental consent.

The rooms are decent and clean. We lived in an 8 bed mixed dorm. The rooms have lockers and you can also store your luggage for free. They even rent a lock for a small deposit of 5 euros. The breakfast buffet has a wide spread and is definitely value for money. The showers are a bit crammed and changing clothes outside the shower is next to impossible. The staff were very helpful with directions. However, there was one who refused to refill the infused water jar, stating he was too busy — that was a bit harsh!

I had a great experience here, staff was helpful and kind, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and neat, and it was a great jumping off location to all the main sites in Berlin. We did not hang out at the hostel that much, but there was a huge hall where people were hanging out and where I imagine solo-travellers could meet others to tour around with. They also had a very nice breakfast buffet option for a few euros. Only problem I would warn about is that the place is very big and old, and the hallways echo a lot with thin walls, and so you often hear others talking or closing doors loudly on the rest of the floor you're on. It wasn't a problem for me personally, but it kept one person in our group awake a bit.

A very nice hostel. To me, I prefer smaller hostels, but this is a good one. The room is very big (having just 8 beds). There is a very nice public space (like a bar) in the entrance and a garden in the back. Seems safe and it's a fair price. The location is very good too, near to a supermarket, subway stations and the Postmader Platz.

Good hostel, there is a bar, billiards free wi-Fi, and all this for a reasonable price. But this is if you are shooting a place in the common block! The private room will cost the same as in the hotel! And it is better to choose the hotel, because you will have a shower and a bathroom in the room, not on the floor!

Hostel is like a hostel. Nice staff. There was an unpleasant incident, without knowing us, while we were absent, moved from our room to another, packed our belongings into a sack and moved. This is beyond our comprehension. You can live like this. The location is convenient.

Nice syö Motel everything working accept elevator. Downstairs is reception and bar in same place. I really like it most clients are under future. But if you have a more age you are also welcomed.

It was a great stay in general. Nice staff, clean rooms and clean bathrooms. Only complaint is the shower room being a little dirty, but at the same time, it could've easily been that the last person didn't clean well after herself. Overall, highly recommend!

Really good experience. The room, bed and the bathrooms were clean. Plenty of options for the morning breakfast. Great location and the staffs were very friendly. No problem with connectivity since its very close to the bus and the U-Bahn station.

The hostel is very good, it is very clean, the rooms are large and bright. The common room is huge. It may be important to note that the hostel does not have a kitchen for guests to use, which can be quite uncomfortable for long stays. Otherwise it's very good.

Double room cramped. Twin beds and very little room to move around. The shared bathrooms reminded the military. The only positive was the showers: they were separated from the toilets in very spacious rooms.

Very nice staff. All questions have been answered. Humor was absolutely there and friendliness anyway.

The location is very convenient. If you can walk a bit, you can actually cover most of the touristy things on foot, else the public transport is very close. The 8 bed dorm room was very spacious for a hostel. The toilet and the rooms were very clean. They have a morning breakfast at a cheap rate of 6 euros which makes life easier if you don't want to drag yourself out after a long night. Overall, I am really happy with my stay at Three Little Pigs hostel.

The positive: — Low price — Breakfast seemed nice, but didn't try it myself — Good location for both bus, underground train and walking distance to shops The negative: — No sound isolation between rooms and corridors, You'll hear everything. Some easy fixes could be to do something with the heavy metal doors in the corridors, they slam shut really hard. And carpets on corridor floor would probably help as well. — Reception staff was overall nice, but has a tendency to go outside to chat with friends, leaving the reception area empty and queues to build up. I understand it can get boring inside, but it gives a bad impression to many guests. — Overall quality of room, interior and beds. But you get what you pay for (and you barely pay anything here). A good place to stay if saving money is most important for you.

Super clean, quiet and with comfortable beds. Reception staff is great and happy to answer all your inquiries. I have stayed at this place several times and always happy to return. Shame that they have closed their guest kitchen which was really convenient for people with allergies to make their own food. Nevertheless this place will always be my place to stay in Berlin.

I was with my daughter for a few days in Berlin and we came to your recommendation here. I also felt comfortable as a mother and could sleep well. The subway is also just around the corner. The prices are very decent.

Excellent breakfast.

I found the room OK big enough, the beds could be better and it is outdated. From the outside it is a beautiful façade with an old gate pity that an old ugly is right in front of it. The breakfast was good a good everyone did get what he wanted, whether Kornflaks or buns with comprehensive toppings vegetarian or sausage there too. The dinner I did not like the Bolognese sauce was relatively watery the noodles not particularly tasty. The front desk looked good with Biliardtischen, just a bit dated.

The location of the place is ideal for getting to know the landmarks of Berlin. However, the noise in the adjoining rooms at bedtime, the little lively atmosphere, and a lingering smell that I couldn't identify in the reception and rest area at all hours, did not allow me to have a pleasant experience. If you are looking for a place with quietness and little noise, this site is perfect because next to it is located a church and a group of apartments. Services like laundry are good.

Very good general conditions and services. Lousy deal at night. Especially from the receptionist of the night shift who smokes marijuana and puts music on the stick no matter what. It tarnishes a lot everything else very good.

Amazing staff. They are very friendly and always prepared to help you the best way they can. The bathrooms are always very clean. There is also a huge self-catering kitchen. Fully equipped with almost with all you need to cook. Though some improvements in this service can actually be made. It is important to clean much more often the room. Especially the table in which we sit down to consume our meals and it will be good as well to constantly change the towel used to dry the dishes, pots, and pans. In conclusion, I can say that I had a very pleasant stay. Grazie three little pigs!

The hostel itself was very nice, but the feminist administrator ruined our stay. My male friend offered her help with moving a heavy box. She started yelling, that he had no right to do that and only offered her help because she was female. She got so mad over a help offer, that she called the police and my friend was kicked out of hostel. Thus, if you are female tourist, feel free to rent a room, but be careful if you're male.

My experience was overall good. The hostel location is excellent, it's a few minutes walk from a train station and some bus stops, and a walking distance from Checkpoint Charlie, Friedrichstraße and 10 minutes from Potsdamer Platz. The hostel is HUGE and in my case I had to walk quite a lot just to get to my room, which was a bit frustrating if I'm honest. I felt it wasn't very accessible and I would leave early in the morning and get back to the hostel at the end of the day. Breakfast was good, most of the staff were very nice. I stayed in a single room and it was clean and quiet. One thing that was not OK — one day the cleaning crew left my room open for the entire day. Nothing was stolen luckily.

The hostel great, just need to improve the elevator as it is very small and excessively slow.

We had a great stay at the Three Little Pigs! The one star deduction is due to the lack of a vegan breakfast offer. A few vegan bread spreads and plant milk (e. G. Oat milk) would have been great. Unfortunately, we had to have breakfast somewhere else in the morning.

Hidden in the backyard, but really super beautiful. The old building has a lot of charm. The staff are also very nice and if you want you can make new contacts relatively quickly.

I had a great Experience at the Hostel. Staff was very helpful and straight forward, the room was cleaned persistently, the shower and bathroom were clean and/or cleaned. Don't come here expecting a 4 star hotel. This is a hostel and as hostels goes, it was good!. There was no hidden fees and the 6 Euro breakfast was good with lots of coffee which helped a lot :-)

I have never stayed at a Hostel so it was an interesting experience, kind of like being back in the college dorms. The floor shares a bathroom (though I never saw anyone else in there) and the rooms are a bit Spartan, but it was still very enjoyable. The rooms were clean and the hostel itself is in a very interesting old building (an old convent? ). There is a huge common area downstairs where people were hanging out and having fun and it is in walking distance of a few good bars/clubs. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that one of the desk employees was a bit cold (was still helpful), though it might have been a cultural misunderstanding.

Excellent hostel. It would be good to reflect on the future the possibility of including in the value of the room breakfast, I know that with a small effort can do.

Location considerably good. Good service. I requested to get a lower bunk bed and the staff reserved a bed for me. Comfortable stay. Some free food (example rice, tea and flour) and spices in the kitchen. The breakfast seems good although I didn't try. The bad things are although there is enough power socket, the sockets are not located beside your bed, they are either beside the table or the locker. And the water is either too hot or too cold, hard to adjust to the temperature I am comfortable with. And one thing, it is really good that there is a lift. But there was one time I used the lift but it doesn't move at all, and the door was closed, it just stayed for a few minutes, I was so scared I might stuck inside the lift. Ever since then I chose to use the stairs instead.

Very nice hostel in the heart of Berlin. About 100 meters from a subway entrance. The room was very clean. Bunk bed, very modern, each bed has electrical outlet to charge tablet and laptop. Quiet and peaceful environment. True that I was off season, but still I was never disturbed at night.

Very well located hostel. Damage that the poor insulation of the walls make sleep impossible. Ambient noises of the occupants in the hallways, slamming doors and other rooms. Staff on the other hand very available and enjoyable.

Our Class went there for 5 days, and I have to say it's the worst Hostel i've ever been in. The "Securidy Guards" are very rude. You gotta be quiet between 10 pm and 7 am, otherwise your getin kicked out of your room LMAO. We have been there last week, so we had our trip in the Summer and it was during the night very hot, so I decided to chill at the window, a few moments later the security decided to yell after me, because I would break the law of the house. So your not allowed to chill quietly at the window — > BULLSHIT. At our last day my teacher found mold on the cheese, so she decided to go the kitchen and flame the hell out of them, but instead of saying sorry or smth like that, she just took it and put it in the trashcan. Neither the breakfast was good nor the dinner was good at all. So I wouldn't recommend it, because as the name of the Hostel says "three little pigs" the atmosphere is like in a pigsty, no behavior no respect at all.

Located in a good location to visit the city, close to the metro station in a very nice setting. It is just 1 stop from Postdamer Platz, which can also be reached by walking a bit. The rooms and bathrooms are quite clean and the staff are friendly and always present for any need. You can have breakfast buffet for 6 euros. There is also a supermarket nearby.

Definitely not my first choice of hostel in Berlin Kreuzberg. Too big for my taste, and too many inconveniences during my stay: the first night after a long night out, the elevator was out of service; got bit by some insect while sleeping, which required medical attention; and the day I was leaving there was no power in the room, so I had to hang around an extra hour to charge my phone in the lounge before leaving. Additionally, there was one staff member who I found quite rude. Not a horrible experience, but definite room for improvement. Positives I can mention are location, and security (key cards and lockers in rooms). I'm not likely to stay there again.

We are a in our sixties and we find Three Little Pigs a very pleasant place. The rooms are clean and sunny and even when you don't have private bath the bath at the corridor are modern and confortable. I extremely recomend thyese hostel.

Huge downstairs lounge area, good Wi-Fi connection throughout the building. Individual plugs, shelves, and lights at each bunk, also large lockers for luggage and valuable storage. Shower areas and toilets were nice as well. Did not particpate in breakfast seeing as it was a bit pricey. Luggage storage for after check out could be improved seeing as it's not in a locked room, just in cubbies out in the open. Would recommend staying here though! Good location in the city.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a single room for two nights. The bed was amazing and super soft. We were very comfortable. The showers were the best I've had compared to the hostels I've stayed at. Water had multiple temperatures, not just freezing cold and blazing hot. The breakfast was really good, I just wish it didn't cost as much as it did. The only major problem we had was sleeping in a double bed but instead of one big blanket, we were given to single-sized blankets (and its not even that major of a problem). Overall, a really enjoyable place to stay.

We had a 8-seater room. The room had everything you need and also was very clean, the bathrooms were old but did work (hot water) and for the price fully in order. The living room is something special super and due to its size. Top is also the location of the hostel in Berlin. As one minus point (as mentioned in the other comments) I feel that none of the three employees that we had to do really was kind to us. The tone was always relatively rude. Otherwise quite tell.

Good place for young travelers.

It's place to sleep, you can say that much. The electricity went out on all the power outlets in the room, as well as the lights in the bathrooms for 24 hours and wasn't fixed before check out. Wifi is practically unusable. For what it's worth it's well positioned in the city.

Very friendly staff, good prices for Berlin, some rooms are a little bit old, but Ok. The connection to S Bahn and Metro are great! Wi-Fi doesn't work very good, but free!

This was even better than I had expected it to be. Everything was clean, the kitchen had everything one would need to cook dinner including two fridges and even a coffeepot. I stayed in a all female room with 6 beds, and the girls were nice but not intrusive. It felt a lot to me like my dormitory in college, how people were except most of these girls were not staying out really late. It was so nice to have laundry facilities, although they are 5 euros. It's a really great location too, one minute walk to a cheap but nice grocery store, and two minutes walk to the subway station. I would suggest that you say in your description that the grocery store is only a one or two minutes walk — that is unusual (i would say nearby could be 4 blocks or even more). It's helpful because one doesn't have to carry groceries far. Thanks so much!

So the occasion to the visit was our final trip of our school in Hessen. Relaxed we arrived at the Hostel and were friendly but very rushed and irritated received from a young lady, the first student (what the building is interested in watching), with an annoyed finger snaps and: "Hey, you back there! Pass yet once on here! " in her monologue voice (the tone of the music plays). But let our good mood and we gave the Hostel, of course, another Chance (everyone has a bad day). The house rules were understandable, well and clearly explained, taking in them already the first threats were, what a breach would happen. Well, it was certainly a stressful and irritated inlet. To the interior you can tell that everything is nice and modern look to it (however, were a billiard table, and other activities not in operation at the time of our visit). Unfortunately, there was jealousy among the students, since the Three Little pigs not every room have a private shower is available, but only individual (depending on which one had good or bad luck). The solution were the communal showers by a thin curtain had been. The food is good! Just because you also have "All you Can eat" made available to get. Dinner (canteen), there are also.

The rooms are rancid and the Windows are not sound proof isolation i. E. One hlrt always the traffic. When one of my classmates was a sausage in a pillow. The second was the poor Breakfast… it was terrible… disgusting… rancid. The third was that we in the morning in the fourth floor leaning out the window and talked… kosiquenz our Windows were closed "due to ruhebelästugung" at 9 o'clock in the morning ruhebelästugung… just ridiculous… at the end of the song was the we ausgechkt have and Wake up from the filth hole.

We were on a school trip and one of our friends has on a rainy day in a little water from the window tilted. The Security got him then, then for 2 hrs as a punishment in the lounge. D. H he sat from 23:30 — 01:30pm down there. With 14 Years. The next day we had at 6am to get up. I think the punishment is completely exaggerated.

The Three Little Pigs is a very good and well-kept Hostel in the centre of Berlin. Very good connections to S and U-Bahn Potsdamer Platz / Anhalterbahnhof. Also good condition the shower and toilet. Is definitely worth a visit, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, very different guests, good prices, lovely rooms and a very Central location.

At any time again! I have my enjoyed the short stay very much and found the TLP to be very atmospheric and well maintained. The gentlemen at the reception were very friendly, the Breakfast buffet very tasty and the other guests really nice and only slten loud. I've slept in the beds very well and was able to enjoy my Berlin vacation. The Hostel is also integrated perfectly and for shopping, the Mall of Berlin and the Sony center is right around the corner.

I visited in the framework of the IFA Berlin. A single room in a Hotal wanted/I was able to shows not afford. Therefore, I opted for a Hostel. The Three Little Pigs Hostel had, in my eyes a good location and a good price. I had a 6 bed room. The room was a bit remote. It was also in the night is relatively calm. There were no persons in the aisles. With the roommates I had also luck. These were also sensible and considerate. My bed was freshly made and clean. Also the room was well maintained and in a good condition. The locker is a bit small, but it was enough for me. Sanitary facilities were also clean and well maintained. All in all an acceptable stay.

Missing connectors, and charge you the savannas but quite comfortable.

Great experience for its price. Rooms were okay and there was a nice overall atmosphere. The staff was friendly to the point that they gave my phone number to a person who found a backpack I had lost in Frankfurt (with this hotel's receipt in it), and I so could recover it!

A bus takes you directly to the airport. A few meters away from a convenient store. — Quietness: You need to be very quite between 10pm and 7am, you can't enjoy their outdoor facilities in between this time. If you're someone who would just be at the hostel to shower and sleep, this would be a good option for you! — Smoking area: The smoking area is in the basement, the coolest (in temperature) spot in the hostel. You can smoke outdoor during the permitted hours.

Terribly rude and arrogant staff (except for two people). They do not care one bit about their guests' wishes and act as if they are doing you a favour by letting you stay there. You definitely are not treated as a guest, let alone a paying customer. And if you think you are booking a hostel so you can SLEEP there, forget it! This place will tell you in its ads and also on your arrival that they have security that ensures nightly rest between 22.00 and 07.00, but you will not be able to sleep one bit. Door slamming and drunk shouting and laughing ALL NIGHT. Worst 5 nights on a trip ever. Nobody should ever stay here.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and it was not bad. The lobby area was pretty big to hangout, staff was nice, and the room was decent. Also, they offer breakfast, but it's a little pricey for the quality.

Shame that such a beautiful place is led for those mean people. They just were very mean with me and my family. I just don't recommend to go there, there are cheaper hotels near it.

The most important (for me) criteria of cleanliness and friendly staff were fully met. The location is very good, the facilities a hostel according to scanty but adequate.
Breakfast bar can be paid in the morning (€7 pP), what makes the holiday design very flexible. Overall, breakfast is recommended only the juices taste unfortunately quite artificial. The rest is very tasty.

We stayed here a few years ago and it was everything that we hoped it would be. We had a clean, quiet room with our own bathroom. With the exception of young kids sometimes making noise in the courtyard we didn't hear anybody else. It had internet access, a nice lounge area to hang out in, and we were able to call back to the United States from their long distance phone at extremely affordable rates. I would gladly stay here again.

Went here for the Salsa Festival. Good deal. While the large entry Hall is pretty neat, the rest of the Hostel lacks the cozyness you might expect from a Hostel. That Said the Hostel seems well run and both bathrooms and dorms were neatly cleanded. Staff at the reception was helpful. The breakfeast buffet offered a good value. It would have been five stars hadn't there been the unpleasant encounter with a female employee short before opening of the breakfast and done eating. First she uttered complete discomfort with me (new at the hostel) daring to ask how things work to get the breakfast. Then, when I wanted to be helpful and bring my tray back she yelled at me for placing it in the wrong window. I travel quite much and haven't experienced something like this in the past five years.

It was really good stay in Three Little Pigs Hostel, everybody was really helpful and the italian guy that usually stay in the shifts in the morning was the best one, really kindly and with a amazing coffee, thanks a lot. Really good accomodation, nice people, close to everything. The only thing I didnt like was the whisky available on the bar, it was Red Label, for me the worst one.

Stayed for three nights in September as part of a girls weekend. Exactly as I expected — clean, simple, good value. The wing we stayed in was extremely quiet. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from except really watery juices and weak coffee. The guy at reception at night was disinterested. The rest were pleasant. Would stay again.

The hostel has very nice employees, it is clean and very conveniently located for my annual Berlin Salsa Congress trip. Very good breakfast and nice common space in the lobby. The rooms would benefit from renovation, based on a interior designer plans, who would make better use of the space and also a more enjoyable look of the rooms. The shared bathrooms are very clean, which was my main concern at first.

It is very cool, very clean and they are very kind. Although showers are something viejunas. Yet the place is cool, quiet, and original. One does not sleep every day in a convent.

Lovely hostel. Little out of centre and East Berlin. Safe area though. Right beside cheap supermarkets. Not such happening bars around but get a bike and everything is close. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nice big bathrooms. Decent kitchen. Good Wi-Fi. Overall I was very happy, 90%.

The rooms are clean and tidy unfortunately there were some problems with the House rules and the rest. The wsr also away to the shower and the toilet about 50 meters away. And e ear in any room.

Excellent location, affordable prices and rooms comfortable. Very good atmosphere and its location is close to many historical attractions, I recommend it. The hostel was even a convent and its church is still active. Oooh very nice & excellent breakfast. Good atmosphere.

A beautiful Youth Hostel close to the S-Bahn! Very clean, international atmosphere and with a very nice staff! Really to recommend.

Einwandfreier download in very good location in the middle of berlin at absolutely reasonable prices. However the service is true and the rooms are top clean. Sanitary facilities are the building according to. And how in other hosteln moderately clean what is at all different fashion by the permanent use.

We were the first time in the hostel. We liked to be super good. The room and bathroom (comfort room) were clean and very neat. Just like the pictures on the Internet in the gallery.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
For the money, breakfast was more than adequate and very tasty!
We had all in all a great weekend in Berlin. We return back to the hostel and Berlin.
The hostel is to recommend in any case.

This is one of the best hostels in which I stayed. Very good location and attention, the rooms are very nice and the price is very good. I stayed in a double room and 100% recommend it.
