A beautiful hotel in the middle of the old town. We had a great, big room in the Big House.
The service is very friendly, there is very tasty breakfast and the restaurant is a blast!,,

The absolute highlight was the breakfast and the super friendly service… better is not possible!

The hotel is in the middle of the city center and has a great atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and very customer-oriented. The central location is perfect for strolling.

When we arrived at this restaurant for a recommended after-dinner meal and drinks, the manager instantly turned our group of four away and told us there was no availability. As we were about to leave, a group that would have taken the same size table was instantly seated, without a reservation. Once we mentioned this, we were told to seat ourselves by obviously embarrassed staff. Then a couple sat down and was instantly served, despite the fact we were seated for 10 minutes waiting for our orders to be taken. The only reason I’m giving this location one star is due to the staff’s gracefulness in understanding our situation and our server’s fantastic service. However, I recommend no one visits this locale and should visit the many other fantastic locations in Regensberg instead.

With the best address in Regensburg if you want to enjoy a good service and excellent food in a cozy ambience. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars absolutely recommended. Thanks to Roberto and the whole team.

Great hotel, super dear people at the reception. Just be careful that you don't book the side house. Is ne Str. Further — very narrow and small and because of every bit (also breakfast) you have to go to the main house. Breakfast is ordered by card — no buffet form. Which, of course, leads to waiting times that you don't know as a buffet breakfaster. But it's ok.

Nice hotel with courtyard, we were breakfast, was delicious and plentiful, see also the pictures! We had the grande breakfast for two and 2 latte, total price 25, 00 euro.

A historic place with French charm, wonderful rooms and a fine, French-inspired restaurant in the heart of Regensburg. Those who stay here combine the charms of the Upper Palatinate with the charm of France — just wonderful. The house well preserved, finely renovated, the rooms generously and tastefully furnished, the kitchen fine and the service in hotel and restaurant unobtrusively professional. Through and through a pleasure!

Very nice hotel in French style. We were in the small house, was a bit noisy, because of a construction site, because of a rough break. Can no one do anything for it. Great breakfast and super dear employees. Everything can be reached on foot in the old town.

Nice location for a drink and also like to eat something. Nice team, fair prices, good quality. In it with a good view into the alley, in fine weather immediately secure space in front of the door. And don't forget: to buy the Danube strudel when someone comes by! (€2.50)

Food was great, classic French style bistrot, we weren't asked if we wanted a dessert or coffee or even the bill, had to stand up and ask for the bill at the bar, only to be told when we mentioned the service, we should have asked! I'm not sure if thats German service, but it's certainly not my experience of French or English or anywhere else for that matter!

I waited with my friends for it to stop raining. The staff were very friendly and offered us something to drink.

Here you can eat above average, the ambience is fantastic and the service top, every room unique, here one has come up with something really nice and implemented it super.

With a pleasant atmosphere and good food, the Ophee is not stinging at anything. The controls are friendly and know their house very well.

Nice place to stay and enjoy. Whether you're sitting at the door in the summer or lingering in the guest room in dreary November, you're involuntarily captured by the orphan feeling, slowing down and serving well.

I love it, style, charm, plus Canada, kitchen early, but you try, a little, with high quality, super location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were there for breakfast. Breakfast is too expensive, only average/cheap products. Why does a French restaurant have Italian products? From France there is also excellent salami etc. I would even pay a few euros more if it were a corresponding experience with high-quality products from France.

Legendary Jan Weiler has called it Germany's best hotel. However, I have few people around the world who come close to the Orphée.
In this wonderful city, absolutely in the heart of Regensburg, you will find an unparalleled hotel. What arose in the Seventies there embodies everything that can fall from the usual tired into a frenzy of euphoria: huge rooms, casual staff, a really very pariserisches bistro with great cuisine and gentle prices (the latter concerns Also the rooms! ), wonderful posters and film posters, and good taste pure to every Détail.
Why the Orphée of Google is called "Baroque Villa" is an exciting question;)

Very nice atmosphere and very individual rooms in the heart of Regensburg. The room goes out to the forecourt and is therefore not quiet, when outside people move through the city. Breakfast there was in the main building and is not a Buffalo horn, but via the map. But it is rich.

In the middle of the pedestrian zone and very individual. The breakfast was a la carte and was delicious.

My room (#6) at the Petit version of the hotel was really very dingy and austere. A pity as the rooms at the main hotel are normally very big and nicely decorated.

Always worth a visit. Hot spot in Regensburg. Definitely in the evening in the bodega. In the backyard, so to speak.

Had dinner here and it was great! The onion soup was out of this world! The food and atmosphere were great. A definate must if you are in Regensburg.

A really nice place with tasty food and very friendly staff. Even better: you can enjoy breakfast until late in the afternoon (at least on Sundays). Loved it.

I live next to this place and let me tell you, it's not somewhere you want to go. If you want to hear people screaming in the streets until 2:30am, maybe you'd like it, but if you're normal and enjoy sleep, go somewhere else. The building itself is beautiful, but the business isn't. Save your money and get another hotel!

The petite orphee is sparse.
Not enough electrical outlets you can reach, a shower curtain on an old shower, no place to put razor/shampoo in shower, no in room mini refrig/tv, access to ice and no elevator if you have a heavy suitcase.
The restaurant is great for breakfast and dinner.

Gorgeous, slightly quirky hotel, great location! Complimentary bottle of wine and water waiting in the room. Huge room and a very comfortable bed. Small flat panel TV that I didn't use anyway. Included breakfast was great, maybe the best croissants I've had. Only had time for a crème brulé at the restaurant, look forward to eating dinner next time.

Wonderful ambience, holiday in France, in the heart of Bavaria.

We were there in 2009 and can't wait to go back. Beautiful room, great breakfast and fantastic service. Only downside was locating the hotel in the dark. It's in the walking portion of the town, so we had to park and walk in. Just off the central square. Regensburg is a beautiful town.
