Beautiful hotel in the city center. Historic building. Room and bathroom new and beautiful. Not all rooms are accessible by elevator. Had room to the yard which was not so great. Highly recommended for a city tour.

Hot and noisy room. Maybe at other times of the year they have the AC on, but for us, only an open window above a street that was buzzing to 3AM gave any relief.

Very small baths, hardly any possibility of storage for bath accessories. Closet is crammed with beds, barely room for clothes. Noisy, but was clear in downtown. Good breakfast.

A nice medieval style hotel. The rooms are not luxury but cozy with all that you need: desk, hairdryer, tv. I like the old look of the hallways decorated with antique furniture. Breakfast is fine and the reception staff is willing to offer help if needed. Also the location is vert good in the city center with restaurants nearby and landmarks. Wifi signal is very good. I would have liked a small fridge and the room smelled a little funny but I guess it's because of the old but restored furniture (that I like).

Very well located hotel from which you can reach all the sights on foot within a maximum of 10 minutes. The rooms are very nicely decorated and in good condition. The fifth star is missing because the breakfast could be a little more trouble. All in all, however, a clear recommendation with good value for money.

Very comfortable (although small by US standards) rooms with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Cheap espresso, slimy and icy orange juice, light in the room did not work, very thin walls (no sleep possible if the neighbour wants to watch TV), reception not very friendly and partly in broken German. And I'm forced to listen to antenna Bayern at breakfast.
WLAN worked very poorly with interruptions and sometimes no internet at all.
Some things are wrong here.

Wonderfully much winding house. That was really funny, especially for the kids. A lot of history on the wall, hints of origins and architecture, old furniture, truss. The rooms are very comfortable, great beds. The bathroom was a bit cramped (191cm). And the absolute highlight… in the morning the coffee! Delicious coffee and ample buffet. Great location. Our room was to the courtyard, it was also nice quiet at night… Apart from the little snores in the room.

Familiar and very nice + GLUTENFREI We were very warmly received. Our room was a dream. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. On request, I was told what it was gluten-free at the buffet and I was served gluten-free bread or gluten-free rolls. Just recommended!

Prime location, great value, clean and comfortable! Breakfast buffet is delicious, with plenty of options for those looking for traditional European or more American styled breakfasts. Parking not on premises so you will need to find a space near by if available. Staff was courteous and the room was a good size. Will certainly return!

I can not recommend quiet conscience. Nice old house friendly staff. But what helps if you don't sleep all night because a nightclub plays extremely loud music in the immediate vicinity. We had wondered why the hotel had earplugs. But then also only a couple for two people?! This hotel is not recommended, then prefers unfriendly staff if I can sleep for it well! The room was unheated on arrival at outside temperatures of — 1, 5 degrees.

Very nice hotel, great location. Very nice room with a view of the Haidplatz. Clear recommendation! The ladies at the reception should be friendlier.

Super Hotel in the middle of the old town! I felt very comfortable!

The shower in the yet extremely small bathroom was not clean, black spots on the seal in a 4Sternehotel are not acceptable. The breakfast was included in the total price, so it was finally also. We took our breakfast elsewhere on the following days.
This hotel is completely overrated with 4 stars and more. At least 1 star is probably attributable to the good location. Most of the sights are easily accessible from the hotel, so we would give the hotel an even more satisfactory assessment.

Nice staff, beds too soft, breakfast kept simple but delicious, absolutely recommended for a short trip.

Really good hotel even if rooms are a bit small.

It may be a 4-star hotel, but don't get a room at the back on a Saturday night: there's a night club across the street that plays really loud music until very late.

With my mother, I spent 2 days / 1 night in Regensburg. The Altstadthotel liked us very well. Except by a few smaller problems, such as long distances in the hotel and parking garage (details see individual reviews), it was a successful stay full! For people who are walking, the hotel is definitely to recommend! There was a very good breakfast buffet and the staff was very friendly!

I've been traveling to the Arch hotel for over 10 years and find it a friendly comfortable hotel. Only issue is lack of air conditioning in the original rooms in the summertime.

Nice old town hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff. On the back, a street with bars, can be so bit noisy until closing time.

Wi-Fi isn't. Room too warm. Noise from the pedestrian zone.

Nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer und schick eingerichtet. Parkmöglichkeiten und zufahrt grauenhaft.

Convenient location, reasonable price, good breakfast, well maintained, I would stay again on my next trip.
