Upper Bavaria Hotels with a Pool

My wife and I stayed for one night following a Danube river cruise. We booked through American Express Platinum's Fine Hotel and Resorts benefit and could not have been more impressed.

Four stars = very good. Nice hotel. Staff is great. Location is excellent. Everything is very clean. Breakfast is great, but having it at the proper breakfast restaurant is EUR 50 per person.

This hotel guarantees quality and excellent service. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated! The restaurants are very good, the service is spectacular, and the beds are the best.

Hotel is beautiful! Very close to old Town. Walk everywhere. The restaurant is excellent. The staff is excellent. The beds were semi comfortable. Beautiful sheets but the bed itself was a little hard.

Everything fits here! Service is written in capital letters. And the beds are a dream. You don't want to get out.

Our first time staying at the Koenigshof, and it was amazing! My first time in Munich! Our experience was excellent from arrival to departure.

We had a family room for 3 which was very spacious (layout feels like an apartment) with entrance hall, living room, bathroom and bedroom. Room was clean and functional.

We had a wonderful experience at Residence Inn by Marriott Munich Central. The hotel’s location is extremely convenient — perfect for getting around the city easily.

Loved the location and my room was convenient on the first floor. The service in the lobby was excellent and they accommodated our large group.

Great space for families, the room was clean, modern and big enough to accommodate a family of four. Big bathroom, especially the shower was awesome.

I stayed 3 days with my girlfriend and enjoy the weekend with a great staff, nice location and excelent breakfast. We cpild also easily walk a few blocks to visit the Spring festival.

Our family enjoyed a lovely 3-day stay at Hotel Jedermann. Quiet, comfortable accommodation that is on tram lines and close to the main train station.

Great experience @ Le Meridien. The place was in great location, walking distance to central train station. It was clean, well decorated with modern design. Great service from front desk to cleaners.

The location is a bit further away from everything, but almost everything else is fine.

Overall, the stay was very pleasant.
Rooms: The room was comfortable and clean. While generally quiet, some sound from neighboring rooms and above was occasionally noticeable.

We loved staying at Schwabinger Wahrheit for our Christmas market getaway in December ‘25.

Rooms were very nice and very up to date. However we did have a slight issue with room service as we were out all day and when we got back at about 5/6pm, that's when they turned up trying to clean.

Fantastic property! The breakfast each morning was delicious, staff was friendly, and the rooms were well decorated and spacious. A group of 8 of us stayed here during Oktoberfest.

Great design, beautiful functional rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only disappointment was the the sauna was broken. Slightly further out but very close to public transport.

This is an old, elegant hotel of historical merit. The staircase is from the 18th century. The location is excellent, right on the main square. The receptionists were friendly and helpful.
