I had from the 17th to the 22nd of The Year. A hotel room booked. Unfortunately I could not start the trip, because due to the Corona regulations a trip to Bavaria was no longer possible. The hotel refuses to refund me the money. My mails will not be responded to either, but instead to Booking. Com referred.
I think that's really weak for a hotel in this price range. I would never book a room there again.

Excellent place to stop when in German. We couldn’t fault the hotel at all very romantic. Noting was to much trouble for the staff. Would stay here again as it was just outside Munich and the underground station is a five minute walk if that, only 3 or 4 stops into the centre of Munich.

Absolutely wonderful staff. Helped with mixed up reservations. No language barrier.

As always all good, only this time 70 euros for breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children was a bit overdone.

Nice and reasonably priced, good value for money hotel. I missed a running machine in the (small but well built) gym. Instead I hit the road and ran through nearby parks. Access to parking garage seemed confusing (will seek more specific advice from hotel staff next time)

It's a great hotel! Purely modern. Inside is better than it looks from the surface. Very close to the metro, from which there are four stations to the city center. Lovely breakfasts! The room has a kitchen.

Terrible place, no air conditioning, too expensive, breakfast not included (about 20$ extra), parking not included (20$ extra) when you take a shower, the water changes from hot to cold, I'm never coming back here. The worst hotel I have ever been!

Pros: quite quiet, not far from the subway and there is a shop with products nearby. Not a bad breakfast.

Cons: No air conditioning. There were problems with the Internet that were eliminated for almost two days. Problems with sewerage in the room, when using a shower from a drain hole in the bathroom floor water clogs the whole room, bad pressure in the sink.

I would recommend looking for an alternative at this price.

We found a handful of tangled hairs in the middle of the room on the carpet… this is not acceptable not even for a 1 star hotel, let alone a 4-star one. Towels in the bathroom also had hairs on them. We were really not happy with this. Room was extremely hot when we arrived. The room had no A/C and we could not open the window since it was raining and it'd have wet the floor. A 4-star hotel should have A/C as standard… The rest was OK but overall I was not happy at all with my experience. I have spent a lot less for rooms in much better hotels. This is my second time in a "Leonardo" hotel (first time was in Dusseldorf) and both times I was not impressed by it compared to other 4-star hotels I've stayed at in the same cities.

Location was good. Two blocks from an underground stop. Breakfast was good. Selection and quality was great. Refrigerator had black mold all over the inside. Shower had dirty footprints on the floor when we arrived. Safe didn't work. Had at least two occasions in four days where the staff simply refused to help (refused, as in acknowledged my request and said they wouldn't do anything about it — asked for towels and asked for instructions on how to park in their garage). When they did decide to help, they let you know it was an effort.

It's a great hotel. Nice quiet area, there is an underground garage 15 euros/day. Near the subway, grocery stores. The room has a kitchenette, a kettle, utensils. There is also a safe, a chair, a small balcony. Friendly staff, quick check-in.

Well kept hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. Breakfast is rich and very varied. The area where the hotel is located is quiet, surrounded by greenery, with Metro stations in the adjacent street. Nearby also a couple of supermarkets for some need.

I come back often to this place is close to Metro AD at the fair. The hotel has a small gym, sauna and Turkish bath. The staff is always extraordinarily helpful.

This Leonardo hotel & residenz provided the type of comfortable stay I know I can rely on at Leonardo hotels. It is situated, like all the Leonardo hotels I have used, close to a good public transport connection. The manager was accommodating in trying to satisfy my particular preference for a room with a particular aspect. The front desk staff were always friendly, the house staff were especially professional and the cleanliness of the rooms exemplary as a result. Some rooms were being renovated on my floor while I was there, and it is worth noting that there was no disturbance to residents while that was happening. That takes good management and respect from all concerned. It was a lesson in professionalism The Italian restaurant in the hotel is excellent; and I liked the area too: calm with supermarket across the road and all other neighbourhood shops a couple of minutes walk. It is only four quick stops to the centre. Public transport was frequent and never over-crowded. The equipment supplied for the kitchenette was surprisingly good quality and appropriate, and an accessible laundry on the lower ground floor has everything required for a longer stay resident. The only thing I thought was unusual at a Leonardo hotel was that there was no magnifying mirror in the bathroom of a Superior Room. Not my usual experience. That aside, I will definitely be staying here when I am in München. 'Thank you' to everyone at the hotel for a memorable and comfortable stay.

The hotel is not a 4 star, like a hostel. The rooms have mini-kitchens, so stink from cooking in the hallway costs around the clock. The 2 star set only for a normal breakfast which costs 12, 5 euros per person.

Nice hotel in a quiet location, close to Metro. The rooms are clean, comfortable. The breakfasts are good. I recommend for tourists.

Located a few steps from the Metro U3 from which you can reach the center of Monaco in three stops. Immediately they were kind and scrupulous. The newly renovated, cozy clean room a bit small for three adults but still functional. Change of towels daily although not expressive required. Parking in PO Caro €14 GG But the outdoor parking lots at the hotel are chargeable with hourly parking meter 10/12 € GG.

Locations is good, not far from center and near the U2 underground line. Room was clean and had everything needed. Personal was gently and avaible for any information.

The Leonardo Hotel & Residenz Munich is a city hotel that has been in the years and is not well maintained. The room and bathroom, which is depressingly brown, is filthy and filthy at all ends and corners. A headache-spreading hotel fragrance pervades the whole house and makes sleeping in the uncomfortable bed with a thin spring mattress almost impossible. Hair and dust can be found everywhere, and for incomprehensible reasons, the built-in kitchen is only to be hoped that there is a pharmacy nearby. Not even with television you can distract yourself from the dreary room, because even the simplest things like the reception of ARD can not offer this House.

If the good transport connections would not be recommended. An elevator for all guests is an imposition. Even though the 2nd elevator would have worked, this is too little. Waiting time of up to 15 minutes. Impossible at walking difficulties. At breakfast crowds. Good value is the TV and the many programs, the fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Good noise absorption. 2 key cards. In the cupboard, more coat hangers would be advantageous. Besides missing cosmetic mirror equipment good. Very strong temperature fluctuations during showers.

My first night staying here and already wishing to get out. Have stayed with the same chain in Warsaw and the service and cleanliness was much better than here. This hotel cannot even afford having clean whole sheets on the bed. Lift the mattress and you will see the skin shedding from previous guests underneath the mattress. Not to mention hair everywhere. I dried my face with towel to notice a female long hair sticking to my face. For the price paid this absolutely not worth it!

It is very close to the u-banh station, the neighbourhood is quiet, and nice. The room with 3 beds is not too big, but the small kitchen is a nice add. Overall it's great value for great price, I would absoulutley recommend it.

I was there with my kids for 2 nights. It all fit. Room was great. The breakfast was gigantic. Very attentive staff! The only thing that was minimally disturbing was the coffee smell from the integrated kitchen in the room.

The hotel is in a quiet location and 4 Metro stops away from the central square. Clean and well run Hotel, very friendly staff, nice sauna area and spotless. Hotel very attentive to the customer: For Easter We were made to find in the room a big chocolate rabbit appreciated by our boys.

We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel for only 2 nights. We were recommended the hotel by a friend who lives 2 minutes away. We requested to change rooms as we had twin beds and wanted a double which was changed without any fuss. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again.

It is central, simple and practical BBB!

This was our third stay at this hotel. We keep coming back because the hotel and the staff have good customer service, very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is outstanding. The price in relation to the service provided is fair and justified. The location to the subway (just a few stops to the city centre) as well as the proximity to small supermarkets and restaurants/pubs (Try the Home garden opposite Antons) makes this hotel an ideal location for both business travellers and Business travellers Pleasure. The idea of a completed kitchenette in the room with fridge, kettle, sink, small hotplates etc. Is an added bonus. We definitely come back to the Leonardo residence!

Stay on a business trip Very good location close to the center, well served by transport (U-Bahn + tram). Spacious room, quiet, with balcony, modern bathroom, well heated and insulated (tested by — 15 °). Fresh, varied and copious breakfast (attention reparted in 2 different rooms). Very good value for money in Munich.

It's a great hotel! Highly recommended for a stay in Munich. Clean, neat. Very cozy rooms and very friendly staff. Booked a room without breakfast, and did not regret — in the room all the necessary: microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, kettle and all appliances. Near Penny, a block away, EDEKA. In general, almost like at home. Well, for those who want to relax and not think about food — everything is in the hotel, everything for you.
S-Bahn is a stone's throw away. The area is quiet and peaceful. Come to Munich and book the Leonardo Hotel, don't regret it!

3 minutes from ubahn, then a few stops into city. Take exit signed 'klinik' to come out nearest hotel. Excellent for price we paid (£55). Quiet room, (229) although there may be a few rooms at front that might not be. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Free safe in room. Kitchen in a cupboard with sink, microwave, 2 hotplates which we didn't use but also a full size under counter fridge — very useful. Shop over road selling all we needed for our own breakfast (freshly baked rolls, nice juice, cheese etc) so we didn't pay 13E each for hotel breakfast. Would book again if we revisit Munich.

The hotel is very nice and the location is very good. The rooms were very nice. The room was very small and the staff were very pleasant.

The Leonardo Hotel is in itself very nicely designed. The rooms are modern and clean. There is also a fridge in the rooms for example to cool your own drinks.
A big disadvantage are the thin doors. Any conversation on the corridors can and must be heard, so that the night can end early.
The breakfast buffet is very good.
However, as the hotel is very large, the noise level in the breakfast room is a bit higher and disturbs the relaxed waking up.

That's great. In Munich It's like our second home.

Clean, well maintained, nice services and central location, however expensive parking (like all hotels on the other hand…), we were in 4 and they put us in a room with double bed and double sofa bed for €120… this definitely too.

About free Wi-Fi — free you can use only messengers like Watsap, Facebook and a simple flipping of pages. If you want to contact your work via VPN, you need to do either a daily or a week-long subscription. At 04-02-2018 the price of daily was 7 EUR, weekly — 20. The rest of the hotel is normal. Most rooms have a balcony with an ashtray table (this is about the fact that the hotel is marked as a non-smoker). Small rooms, but for a business trip — just right, we only come to sleep there. Clean, cozy, winter stoke dimpthated so that you can already at the entrance to expose to the underpants. Personally, I screwed the batteries, well, Can not sleep in the heat. A small kitchen with an electric tile, kettle, microwave and refrigerator — again, who cares exactly the place for cooking — take other hotels. Here is designed for "came, quickly warmed up, ate. " Overall I liked it.

We had a great time in Munich and our stay at the hotel made it very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, especially Ms. Rodriguez. The breakfast service is great with a huge variety of everything.

Glasses are not rinsed or exchanged.

For the price 305, €0 2 nights 3 people more expected.

ComfortablE, clean, cozy rooms. Bedding and linen crisp! Bathroom spacious, clean and so well maintained! Restaurant caters a variety at breakfast. Filling of replenished food very quickly. Presentation so inviting. Staff helpful and friendly.

It's a terrible thing, we have to press our doorbell at seven stores in the morning. Then we asked the front desk, the front desk let us hang a do not disturb the sign … Now 3 o'clock in the morning I write this comment, because the 2:30 A. M. When someone rang our doorbell, I was scared to death, call the front desk has not been answered! Girls must be careful, we're all scared to death.

Nice hotel, staff were friendly and had absolutely no issues. Location is about a 15 minute cab into central Munich or about the same by metro which is cheap, reliable and easy for a foreigner to understand. We didn't eat here at all and the time we wanted to use the bar it was closed so can't comment on those but overall a pleasant stay.

I cannot understand some of the criticisms here from other guests. That you sometimes have a bad day, you can not bad judge the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast, which you can say so quietly. Everyone was trying hard, and as soon as something was out, the sufficiently varied buffet was refilled. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A star deduction is available only because we have received the 3 bed room much larger and for 3 adults it was a little cramped with a berth.

The rooms were clean but rather small. It was a 140 cm wide bed. At breakfast the buffet was divided into 2 rooms it was very noisy in the room and the tables very cramped.
The staff was OK but not very helpful.

Great clean hotel. A varied breakfast. Cozy rooms. It's your parking lot. Height limit 2.05. Silent District. Nearby is a grocery store.

Used at a rock concert to which we witnessed, and we were not the only Italian to have chosen it. Logistically very close to the subway and a very good restaurant of typical Bavarian cuisine.

It is very close to the subway in a very quiet neighborhood. The hotel is very cozy. The room for four is phenomenal.

This was our third time staying in this hotel. Clean and comfortable hotel lovely staff. We checked in a party of 18. For the beer festival. And there was a mix up one of the girls had booked another hotel by mistake. And the two lady's done there up most to sort it for us by phoning the other hotel thank you so much her name was Chiara zanoni I don't remember the other lady's name we checked in on the 25th September /17 thank you one again. Leonardo is a well located hotel (close to subway, supermarket, drugstores, car rentals. ) good for couples and small families. The rooms are small and ""old age". If you have problems with noise maybe you will not can sleep well. The breakfast is really good with good quality food. We could see the team efforts to keep the common areas clean. They have a payed parking.

I stay here whenever in Munich as it is a reasonably priced hotel, convenient for my business and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. This time I noticed that my bathroom had been renovated to a good standard (although the “old” bathrooms are just fine too). The room is spacious and clean and has a small balcony, the bed is comfortable and the coffee making facilities are useful when I have an early start. The hotel is also extremely convenient for the UBahn that connects to the train to the airport, about a 1 hour trip for about €11.

Very nice Hotel just a few minutes walk from the subway. The gym is available (poorly equipped) and a sauna with a relaxation area for a fee (1, 50 euro).

Do not stay here. Staff are extremeley rude. Drilling in the building began at 8.15am and did not finish until 9am. Staff came into the room three time without permission. The fees are extortionate 229 a night during oktoberfest! Room are tiny.

We had a comfortable stay in a family room. It is a good hotel to stay with family at a quiet location. Metro stations are within few minutes on foot plus a couple of supermarkets nearby.

Although I had explicitly asked for it and I had been told that there was rooms they were not equipped with air conditioning. Also I had serious problems with the kitchen machine, the stove, left lit before our arrival between the maximum power and zero so much that, since the spy that should have indicated it was not working, you could not know, so you burned the cable Of my Aeroccino Nespresso that was not adjustable and I had to buy (but I can not complain if I consider that in its place could have been my hand). All these problems, despite the excellent collaborative willingness of the staff in trying to understand and facilitate according to their possibilities (clearly they can not put air conditioning where there is) have made our stay little comfortable and there They did lose from 2 to 3 hours of time trying to explain and fix that for a one night stay for me they mean a lot. Finally the Wi-Fi worked little and bad and I don't find it nice after writing that the Wi-Fi is free to point out that if you could have a better one paying.

The place its really clean and nice. But I rate it with 3 stars because the booking Info was missleading. We came as a family and the 4 people room its actually 1 bed and 1 sofa bed, not 2 bed. It does not have air conditioner as it said, it has a fan. It said that the breakfast was included and it wasn't. I personally do not have problems with any of that, but its the combination all the misleading things that make me chose this rating.

Very spacious and elegant place, comfortable rooms equipped with all comforts. The cleanliness in the standard (they came also in the late afternoon, perhaps a little ' excessive) and the area is ideal because very close to the Metro and the various services.

Just speak English. No air conditioning. Very expensive for the quality of the room!

The hotel is located in the residential area. The Metro is a few hundred meters; Once you are on the metro you need two to three stops to be in the center.

Stayed here 3 nights during summer time July 2017. Nice clean, comfortable size room, amenities included: hair dryer, shower, comfortable bed, stove, microwave, fridge, sink, all very nice. Big windows for breezes but the big deal has to do with no central air conditioning. Greeted by nice and helpful staff. Grocery stores nearby in walking distance. Public transportation like trains are also nearby.

Spacious and comfortable room, excellent breakfast and offering a wide choice. I'm just a little disappointed with the cleaning not always top especially at the terrace (there were chips on the floor of the previous people… who stayed there all week). Moreover, during the five nights I stayed, there was no replacement of soap, shower gel and other products offered by the hotel. OK, no need to do it every day but once on 5 days would have been nice…

Very large room, very nice with a nice terrace! Even a small kitchen as a bonus! Breakfast varied and full, very welcoming staff who is at our disposal for answers to our questions and advice!

Small rooms, dirty carpet, nor dreckigere window, not to mention the totally filthy balconies. For a 4 star hotel an impudence.
For the construction work before the window, no one can something of course. Ultimately but unfortunately fit into the overall picture.
Breakfast ok. Experienced in hotels — less stars winning — much better! But definitely not bad.
Wanted to apologise again almost that I mMn had taken a friendly 'Hello' the cleaning lady.
People, finger away, if you expect something for Star and money. If not, then tried your luck.

OK, but expensive, relatively long distances, Wi-Fi only with high extra costs, geworbener bike rental exists no longer, in my opinion very dusty even in the bathroom.
