Went for new year’s eve celebration. Ambiance and room were great. The meat was really mouth watering. Quite expensive overall — €75 per head (2 adults and 3 children) and €4, 50 per 0, 7L still water bottle quite steep!

We were already several times to eat here and every Time excited! What does Mr. Fehrenbach with the herbs is really amazing. The Restaurant is certainly one of the best in the area and for us it is always an experience. I, personally, would find an additional Beer menu with matching Beers is great.

Lovely hotel and restaurant. They have a special herbal cocktail as aperitif which I like. Besides good cuisine excellent local wine in nice hand-made glasses.

We spent 10 wonderful days in the hotel. Every day we were spoiled with a new food creation. The service was also very good. Recommended house.

Attended a wedding there. The room was nicely decorated and tastefully lit. The food was good but small portions and severely overpriced. Service was severely understaffed to serve the three course menu and drinks throughout the night. Breakfast was nice and plenty, however also pricey. Inadequately, we were charged for the parking even I there is no way of not parking on the premises. The room was a bit rundown and prices were high, given the minimum amount of amenities that were included.

The star is available for the quite excellent food, but also at handsome prices.
We were there for a wedding, the service left plenty to be desired, as there were clearly too few staff present. Even the reservation of the room caused a lack of organization. The rooms are spacious, but for the price it would be necessary to renovate them urgently. We found only two towels for three people, no new garbage bag and the calculation of the parking space in a place that cannot be reached without a car and which offers ample space.
Overall, there is more to it than it is done to reduce the focus on good cuisine is not enough for a hotel.

Were with friends for dinner and overnight for the first time at the Waldhotel Fehrenbach and had a very nice weekend in beautiful scenery with quality very good food and wine, especially the dessert with its extraordinary ingredients was a great Taste. The breakfast in the barn as well, very atmospheric room. Mr Fehrenbach was a very attentive and very friendly host. Highly recommended for a special experience.

How wonderful is this hotel, and dear Herr Josef, bringing us 'happy eggs' for breakfast and going out of his way to make our visit special. We were so sad to leave this hotel, set in a perfect little valley, with the goats' bells gently waking us each morning :-)

— very good for hiking, relaxing and
— very good to celebrate weddings or parties,
— best spring water,
— peaks wine (the best of 50 barrels of pinot noir from EBres)
— spiked food (organic, from the chef in terms of personal terms),
— the hotel is regularly in the gourmet guide,
— it is used with wild herbs of the region (over 1000m height) and
— mainly cooked with the regional and seasonal organic — and Demeter — ingredients.
— The rooms are clean, tidy and lovingly furnished.
It is probably an insider's tip that the host Josef
— also makes bath sude out of herbs, if you ask. Not everyone knows this and I think he is particularly happy when you praise and appreciate his exceedingly fine cuisine and the fine spring water. In general, the region is great for all kinds of leisure activities. You can find out very well there.

We (two friends from kindergarten times) celebrated together our 50th birthday in the barn of the Waldhotel Fehrenbach. Not only the premises, the menu and the advice on this were excellent, but also the caring with which Mr. Fehrenbach and his team accompanied us through the evening, have the occasion for an unforgettable evening (by the way, until the early Morning hours) made for us. We are looking forward to our 60th birthday. Thank you very much.

This hotel is very cozy. Breakfast is unique, versatile, cosy and very regional. From wine to brandy, Prosecco 1 A Qualitative. And the host unique. Very hard and one immediately realized a host with heart and soul. Happy again.

Nice hotel, quiet location, good food and the host knows the herbal spirits. The Ballroom for weddings is terrific…

Creative and down-to-earth – do they go together? Yes, it is! Delicious creations with wild herbs and many other ingredients, the front of the black door grow. But the most spectacular was also the simplest: The bread! Delicious!

The cuisine is imaginative, uses local products and trying to be creative. However this is not always convincing. A steak from the deer to offer, and then two *breaded* Schnitzelteile to put on a plate, is very strange. And that the Service, after this court according to the chief for three weeks on the card, the word "deer" is not English dominates, is also very strange. Tasted very good to us venison ham and potato salad with Senfblättern as an Appetizer and the pumpkin soup. The Heidelbeereis on the other hand: in the end, a pureed, sweetened and iced mass. The sophistication of the half-baked Birnenschnitze with hard, ungeniessbarer shell opened up to us, unfortunately, not. The Chutney on the other hand: delicious. The Service we experienced at two to Visit as unskilled and semi-skilled forces or apprentices. Also was at both Visit the staffing level in the Service, unfortunately, is too short. Conclusion: Interesting kitchen with creative ideas, enthusiasm, but with a different look.

We were very impressed by the nice people here and the beautiful Details of the creative kitchen. A Tagessaft with "raspberry and savory" surprised at Breakfast something — and was very tasty! The card has more such beautiful Details to offer. The room (of course, very clean and comfortable) without a carpet to get. We would love to come again and recommend the house to our friends.

We were very warmly received and with a wonderful menu and fitting the finest wine spoiled. Everything here is homemade — very highly recommended! We will definitely come back soon.

We were unfortunately only to eat there and I can only say that the fresh kind and preparation of the cuisine based on regional products and local herbs and vegetables in a taste-Crescendo unfolded, which I rarely experienced. 'm certainly not a Gourmet take but for me is definitely in need of a solid kitchen of an exorbitantly good to be able to distinguish. The latter description applies to the kitchen of Mr. Fehrenbach, his training in Hamburg's "four seasons" have been completed and remaining stages of creative cuisine — — > you noticed while Enjoying the food, such masterly anyone here work progresses! We were on a rainy day there and met unfortunately on a bit lonely, a guest room. It is fair to say: people that go there, it's worth it-in any weather.
