Very nice hotel in a large beautifully restored bourgeois mansion where I returned with pleasure this year. Original and tasteful design, excellent bedding and SdB. A refined welcome. The location is exceptional with on-site parking a 5 minute walk from the historic centre.

The hotel liked the cleanliness and decoration of the rooms, the great location and the wonderful staff;)

Clean air-conditioned rooms. The closet could be slightly larger. Reception friendly. The location is very good in the city center just 2 minutes from the train station.

In our 3 weeks of travel in Germany & France, this hotel came in 1st place for a total lack of Hospitality. 1. At Check In we were told to return at 3:00 and that was the Hotel's check in time. When we returned at 3:00 we were then informed the Hotel had a late checkout from our room and it was not finished and required an 'inspection'. We then waited in the hall for the room to be completed and we ended up in the room after 3:00. When confronting the Manager about this she was only combative and unable to make any kind of concession or acceptance of their failure to have the room ready at 3:00. It seemed like this was business as usual, not only for the staff, but management as well. Amazing… 2. We rented a suite, the very top of the line room we were told. The Air Conditioning was noisy and ran constantly all night long and clearly lacked the capacity to properly cool the room of this size. When confrontaing the checkout clerk, they were quick to point out that since I did not call for them to service it, it must not be a problem. Again, business as usual. 3. Plumbing sounds in the walls. There were sounds of gushing water in the pipes from upper floors that ran directly behind the headboard on the bed. I guess German engineering was not applied that well to this facility. Mentioned this at checkout, and the clerk just ignored the feedback as business as usual. 4. Beware of upcharging.

Wonderful BW right in the centre of Freiburg. Nice rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff and the attached bar is also good.

Amaising wonderful! All services are perfect, I really think there is nothing I could wish and this Hotel have not. All my dreams found the reality in this structure!

So I have to say for a 3 star hotel It is one of the best so far! Very nice décor, very clean and staff is extremely friendly. Anytime again!

Business. Very good location near the main train station and the city centre. The hotel is a typical city hotel. The room was nicely decorated, the ambiance classic and well tuned. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff very polite. The small sauna is cosy and perfectly adequate (after all it is not a spa hotel;) ) Summa Summarum: Always happy again.

A good girl with lovely rooms and a good service from the staff. Breakfast had a good number of options and was of great quality. Small issue with regards to controlling the Aircon but otherwise a lovely room, clean and well provisioned. A great option of obviously the area.

Centrally located hotel, large modern rooms/bathroom. The breakfast buffet was good. Parking spaces available for guests. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Housed in a venerable 1870s building, Best Western Victoria is almost impeccably free in shot. The friendliness of the staff, whether at the reception or in the breakfast room, is refreshing and soothing in today's service industry. The nice cleaners speak and understand the German language. Unfortunately, this is something that needs to be highlighted in particular these days. The location to the train station and the city centre is ideal. This hotel offers quiet and dignified accommodation. If Freiburg, then I like to come back to this exceptionally well-run hotel.

Very good Hotel in the centre of Freiburg. Very friendly and helpful staff Bad price, having stayed in the 8 December deck the cost was really high in my opinion and especially didn't even include breakfast. A negative note goes to the entrance where there are several steps and no possibility of access for disabled or, as in my case, with children on stroller.
For the rest I would say a really good Hotel.

Queen Room: small modern furnished room. Very clean, very quiet. Modern bathroom. Save + WLAN for free. Minibar + parking/garage GG. Booking fee (€14) recommended. Very environmentally conscious solar/wind. Small chic Dachtterrasse for smoking/sunbathing. (Bio-) Breakfast not used €15. Sauna not used. Perfect location Central Station and city centre. Everything is within walking distance. Directly opposite a green location with a museum. Tram/car-sharing/supermarket "at the door". Hemmingway Bar at the hotel (upscale prices & quality). Friendly staff. Not accessible.

This hotel was wonderful! I was in Freiburg with a group and we stayed here half the week. The rooms were extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff was very kind and helpful. The Hotel Victoria is an energy leading hotel with solar panels and mini wind turbines on the roof. Definitely worth learning a bit about.

Piazzatissimo close to the center, possibility of parking in the garage at €14 night, but with limited seats, so it is advisable to ask before arriving.

This is a great value. Location among the best in Freiburg in terms of convenience for both old city and train station. Very friendly staff. Room is slightly spartan but very comfortable. Only minor hiccup : I had requested high floor, far from elevator and with view. I got the first two but not the view…

We were a group of travelers staying just one night in advance of catching a river cruise in Basel. The hotel, which is close to the train station, the old town and a couple of laundromats, served that purpose well, and we enjoyed spending several hours exploring Freiburg.

My favourite hotel in Freiburg. Cosy and nice spread of Breakfast. Come with Sauna and Gym! Best location from the train station and city center and free train ticket! always like to stay there but sometimes its overly booked.

We came back from a weekend in this beautiful hotel and everything enchanted us. The reception is personalized, professional and smiling. We opted for an individual and nominal closed garage: It is a real garage with automatic door in which you are alone to park.
As for my birthday, the hospitality employee wished me a happy birthday and we received a bottle of champagne offered and deposited in the room from our installation! The employee even came back to offer chocolate to our daughter!
The room is very nice, very decent size and tastefully furnished. The bedding is of very good quality. The view of the park is very nice. The bathroom is functional and very clean.
The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the city centre, perfect to visit!
Extra breakfast is worth the price! A great choice at the buffet and a perfect welcome and small care by an employee who even made the effort to speak to us French! Thanks Sebastian!
In short, we loved our stay and will return if we return to the area!

Fantastic hotel. Lovely rooms and lively place. Walking distance from train station. The staff is great and so helpful and friendly. I woll stay there again and again.

So far, have only checked in and it's been the worst experience ever. We have heavy bags. No one here to help with that! Had to drag them around to the parking garage to get to an elevator. Keys that didn't work or so I thought because the clerk didn't bother to tell me you have to hold them an inch or two away from the actual door rather than swipe. Good to know. But don't act like a b**** when you come up to show me how they work. Gracious? Certainly not. Helpful? Not in the least. I hope the rest of Freiburg makes up for this horrid start.

We were there with our two dogs. Top, rarely experienced a hotel where dogs were so welcome. Cups were ready. Similar to the piece of chocolate for humans, there was a treat for the dogs. A detailed description of where to run your dog was ready. If necessary, the dogs would even have been looked after.
And otherwise it is a comfortable hotel with a great breakfast buffet and perfectly air-conditioned room.

We spent only one night at the Hotel Victoria, but were very satisfied in all respects. The room was nice, clean and quiet. We slept well in spite of the central location. The staff was very friendly and accomodating for special requests. We have rounded off the day with well prepared drinks in the bar. We can highly recommend the hotel.

As a negative, I think it would be important that staff work with travellers up the suitcases from the entrance to the reception or have staff for that activity. Maxime in our case in which my husband has a disability that prevents him from climbing to lift luggage and we came here with two large suitcases is a journey through Europe for almost a month from Argentina.

Besides great location, beautiful rooms with comfy beds, delicious breakfast and great service, the hotel holds multiple awards for its zero emission renewable energy power production and CO2 saving schemes. If you are in the area, don't look any longer!

A warm welcome on Friday evening, nice introduction into the House without any problems is a table for dinner in the city reserved carefully selected breakfast buffet. As I be glad to be back.

As Freiburg I unfortunately never spent the night in Victoria, but I put all my business there under. So far I've gotten only very positive feedback and that had also always been good on our business relationships.
The rooms are very nice and tastefully decorated — with hardwood floors and high-quality interior. Service is always good and the reservation (best by phone) works very easily.
From my own experience (:-) ) the Hemingway bar I know — a refuge as there are few in Freiburg, where you can get just the evening or a long conversation. The cocktails are created there are among the best worldwide. A pity that in the smokers lounge, well, just smoking are, because the vault below the bar has much atmosphere.
Overall, a very positive impression udn absolutely recommended. Early booking is advised.
