➜ Dear, friendly service. No rehearsed smile, but a lot of warm naturalness. Large room, very quietly located to the garden. There are cheaper hotels in Freiburg, but we would prefer this house again.
Good breakfast.
➜ Great room. Very clean and cozy. Beautiful large balcony. Very quiet and in the middle of the city. Everything can be reached on foot. The service is super nice and the breakfast rich and tasty. Happy to return.

Absolutely loved this place. Wow! For the price we paid, we got two large rooms which for four of us was a real treat. The family and people running this place were friendly and helpful. Typical of "family" hotels in old Europe there was no elevator so be forewarned. BUT the gentleman at the desk helped us with our luggage which he did not have to. Bottom line not a big deal at all. The rooms were super nice, clean and well appointed. Balcony off the one where I enjoyed a few late night brews and soaked it all in. Walking distance to all of the main sites in old Freiburg. We never used our car at all. Beds great. Breakfast was wonderful. Well done. Parking was a little ways away so just be forewarned about that, but again, well organized and safe. We did not need our car in Freiburg. We stayed for two nights, but would have loved to stay for a week and hopefully in future we will. Thank you!
