Good hotel: the room is warm and clean, great view. I wish the breakfast had more variety. The staff is helpful and friendly, especially Samir.

Just spent a wonderful two nights at the Step Inn.

The hotel is in a superb location for the snow capped mountain views + hilltop church to the front and also to the rear mountains (if not in low cloud).
The two lifts were appreciated.

Good and cheap (10 GEL per person) camping spot around Juta. Great location as start point for a day hike to the Chaukhi pass or two-day hike back and forth to Roshka.

My wife and I stayed here on 7 through 9 June 2025. Zeta Camping is situated about 1 kilometre uphill from Juta, and is at the start of the trail leading towards the "Georgian Dolomite".

We liked the location. We wanted to see Gergeti Church and climb to the foot of Mount Kazbek. Everything worked out.

There are two rooms and the bedding is clean. Basic towels are provided, and if you stay two nights or more, they'll replace them upon request.

I will highly recommend both. The place is clean, well managed and maintained.
