Square Htel SQUARE HOTEL

Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Additionally they advised that the room was ready early and let us check in. Good value for money. Well located to train station and monuments.

Comfortable hotel, good beds, helpful staff (provided wine glasses and corkscrew). The shower took a while to work/get hot, could be better. Close to Monoprix, train station, restaurants and the old town. The balcony is a must have for a cheese and wine table in the evening. I would stay again.

Sparkling clean, comfortable, friendly & professional staff. Decent breakfast (with roof top view over Nimes). Had a few hours spare before my train so they kindly looked after my rucksack.

A small, modern, quiet hotel in the corner of Square de la Couronne. It is in an excellent location. The arena is just up the road, 5 to 10 minutes stroll.
There is an entrance to the Arenes underground parking diagonally across the square. There are other access points too.
We got a great night's sleep. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. There was a fridge with complementary bottles of water. Wi-Fi was very good. Our room was at the back.
This hotel is ideal for one night.
When we were leaving Reception was abandoned and we had to hang around until the guy returned to the hotel.

Good location but it was tricky to find initially from the railway station. A kind lady told us to take a short cut through the station and it was in fact not far from the other side of it. The hotel is well located, a short walk from everything you need. There was a great cafe around the corner they did a great formule breakfast. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable and good air con too. Large foyer where you can sit and relax also. Great value for money too.

Hotel situated on a lovely square. Friendly and efficient people at the reception. We had a room with balcony which meant waking up to the sounds of Nimes was wonderful.
It s located a 10 min walk from the trainstation, the arena is just around the corner and the charming city centre five minutes walk.
Recommended.

It was a bad mistake choosing this hotel. Check-in is at 4 p. M. We were able to leave our suitcases but hoped that we might get a room earlier. At about 3.45 p. M. Our room became available. Considering check-out is at 11 a. M. I think that more staff are needed to get the rooms available quicker.
We were staying in a superior double room with balcony overlooking the nice square to the front. Our room was incredibly hot. The air conditioning was making a noise but there was no cool air coming out. We waited for an hour and the room was not cooling down. I approached reception, they did something on a screen and I was told it would be better now… it wasn't… absolutely nothing coming from the system… maybe dry air but certainly not cool air. As a result we had to sleep with the windows open. We ended up with over a dozen mosquito bites the next day.
Our bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. One very hard pillow and one very soft pillow. The room decor and layout was truly awful, it could be so much better. In fact the whole hotel needs someone with a good eye to decorate it because it is a beautiful building from the outside.
Large bathroom with poor use of the space. Decent shower, moving toilet seat, scuffed floor, paint splashes.
The breakfast was truly awful. Cold scrambled eggs, cold bacon… not lukewarm… it was stone cold. The orange juice was a brown sludge coming from a machine. It looked as if it had been sitting there forever.

We found this to be a very friendly and well run hotel. The staff were most welcoming and friendly. This would definitely be our hotel of choice if we were to return to Nimes.

We are currently on our 4th night here. What a fabulous surprise! The Staff is kind and helpful. Our room is good sized with a desk, minibar; we have a balcony with a half table and chairs looking out to the Square. The room is nicely furnished, good bed linens, beautifully kept and warm even though there is a ferocious wind and rain outside. The bathroom is modern, the shower is great with lots of hot water. The hotel is centrally located, very close to the colosseum, old town, and parks. It has been a perfect stay with all the comforts one expects. Nimes is a beautiful town, clean with a lot to see and do. We used it as a base for Marseille. Avignon and Arles. A wonderful experience!

Short walk from train station. Hotel was clean and quiet. We enjoyed or stay. We liked the location and can walk to everywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good place to stay!
Almost forgot, we got the breakfast option. Food was excellent, and it’s on the roof which is very nice.
