Great location of this hotel, walking distance to the Louvre. Smaller rooms, but quaint and artsy. Great friendly and helpful staff!

Cleanliness, Metro at the entrance of the hotel, great price for a hotel in Paris. Nice Staff There is a flaw, the elevator is missing. However we stayed on the first floor.

"Lovely hotel". ONLY in photos! If you don't look for disappointment, better look somewhere else. The rooms are incredibly small and poorly lit, but nothing can top off the most horrible customer experience you can ever have, compliments from the receptionist. Definitely a place I won't recommend and one I will remember for the worst services. To name a few of the amenities: lack of respect, lack of competency and lack of professionalism.

Hotel well located but small room and we found broken mirrors in the bathroom. Some of the staff are not friendly unlike the night shift!

I am a traveler and this hotel was was worse then I anticipated. The smell smelt horrible and the front desk could not do anything and the shower is super slippery. I fell and broke my arm and the hotel did not say they did anything wrong.

I sayed there for a night. Well let's start with the good part: — location Is nearly unbeatable, — Bed is comfortable, — Ambience in room (°C) is easy to manage, — Decoration is pretty warm remind me on youth hostel. BUT: — The management want to act too much like youth hostel. They simply forget that their price is ×15 to 20 higher. — We waited for ages at front desk when arrived, — No water in the room. I went down they gave me a two small bottles and wanted to charge me 3€ per unit. A room costs about 150 euros and you wont dare to give your gest a 0.30 cents water bottle at their arrival? As there is no shop very nearby you don't have much choice or you can drink from the tap just like in youth hostel, paying 20 time more tho'. — In the morning the cleaning team is really Noisy. I mean they are doing a fantastic job at I know how hard their job is.   BUT when guests pay 150euros a night giving rules to your staff to be quiet seems nearly normal, — my room had a crazy bad view from the window… another room. — parking = €€€€€€€€€€€€€ Good but overpriced.

Staff was great. Rooms are comfy and fun. Good beds and pillows. I would definitely go back.

Great location as it is within a few minutes walk of public transportation, grocery, food, shops. Owner and staff are helpful and friendly. Loved the art on each floor's hallway (6th floor is the best) and in the rooms. Wi-Fi is included and for a nominal fee breakfast and an evening bar are provided. Small but comfortable hotel, would stay here again.

This place has such a good atmosphere! Every floor is different and colorful. Breakfast is bread and pastries, yogurt and jam. Lobby staff was wonderful. Convenient location in the 1st arrondissement. Bathrooms are quite small — the shower door nearly hits the sink — but not really an issue. Beautiful views! Would absolutely recommend.

Very nice welcome from all the people we saw. Speak English very well. The style of the hotel is nice. Nice room The situation is ideal. Only downside the insulation of the rooms between room and with the elevator, however our room gave on course so no street noise.

Beautiful little hotel in the centre of Paris just a couple of steps from the Louvre, the Seine, the Centre Pompidou and many other famous attractions. This is a design hotel, so there are lots of little visual details to explore. As with any other Parisian hotel (I would assume) rooms are rather small. Our attic room was decent in size but getting all the way up with luggage was a squeeze — the lift is barely big enough for two people and wouldn't go all the way up. From the lift you need to navigate through a tiny hallway and then up the winding attic stairs. Having said that, the room is beautifully done with a nude mural, eccentric framed photography on the walls, a silver old-fashioned telephone and a mirror nightstand, LED lights in the shower. Clean and bright. No breakfast included but the communal area downstairs offers some in the morning. We prefered one of the many Parisian cafes in the neighbourhood. Big bonus: an honesty bar in the lobby for cocktails and drinks: you just choose what you like and they bill it to your room. Staff was super friendly and spoke perfect English. Absolutely recommend this gem!

Such a fabulous little hotel. Perfectly located in the center of Paris, we had awesome access to the metro, and also were in walking distance to so many fun cafes and the Louvre. The front desk attendants were unbelievably friendly, always so willing to look stuff up for us and give they're recommendations! The room was small, and VERY pink. Haha! But it was a very clever use of space, and despite the size and color we definitely felt it was worth every penny. I know this might sound like a silly thing, but the stair case was SO awesome! Haha! When you stay here you have to take the stair case at least once! I felt kinda silly stressing over the best place to stay during our quick trip (there are SO MANY OPTIONS! ), but I am SO glad I finally settled on this place. I definitely feel like it was the perfect choice, and when we go back, we'll stay there again!

The pencil hotel's great location next to the Louvre. The staff is very friendly and professional. The arty décor and colorful is superb. It feels like home. I recommend this hotel for a stay in Paris!

Central setting, close to the Louvre and on a relatively quiet and charming street. Plenty of typical Parisian cafés and bistros nearby. Distinguished French hospitality from a young and dynamic staff. Highly recommended! Nothing but pleasant surprises.

The entire hotel is very cute. The service was incredible and super helpful. They would help with getting reservations and giving directions and making recommendations. They spoke english for those whose need it (I did). The location is also incredible. It's only a 5 mins walk from the Rue de Rivoli stop on the 1. They offer an inexpensive breakfast, but there's a patisserie right around the corner called Souer Sucre that I highly recommend. We didn't bother with the breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality. My only complaint is the storage. The rooms are tiny which is to be expected in Paris, but the storage in the room was also tight. If they offered a slightly taller wardrobe or a slightly taller dresser it would make fitting in the room much easier. The bathrooms are also a little tight, but the showers are awesome. The pressure coming from the shower was adjustable ranging from a trickle to a pressure washer. All around a very good hotel and would definitely considering staying there again.
