This review is based on the outstanding service provided by Yasmin (Canadian lady — hope name is correct) on the front desk. We were not residents and were somwhat lost in Sentier on our first day. Yasmin left no stone unturned to help us and indeed we booked tickets for tours through her. She is the example for others to follow and a great Ambassador for the hotel. Our sincere thanks to her. Hotel du Sentiner was perfect for our 3 nights in Paris!
The staff were welcoming, helpful and pleasant from beginning to end! Honestly it was such a breath of fresh air being greeted by such lovely staff (be it reception, housekeeping or restaurant staff).
The location was amazing — close to a few metro stops as well as easy walking distance to some really amazing brasseries and patisseries.
This small hotel provides a quiet haven to relax in luxurious surroundings and be taken care of by a thoughtful, experienced team. It’s a short distance from all the main sights of the city but sits at the heart of a small friendly neighbourhood. Locals use the excellent bar and bistro and the food is lovingly prepared and served with great attention to detail. This is a theme throughout the hotel, with great service, cleanliness and thoughtful hospitality throughout.
