A really nice place with a quiet room and a staff with little care, that happiness for a break in love.

I was completely ignored. I wanted to have breakfast on the terrace, I left without being served.

We were alone in the restaurant. Pleasant room, discreet kitchen, stale bread, unpleasant service. We couldn't wait to leave.

Just a quick post to say the ham and cheese sandwiches available from the kiosk at the corner of the hotel are yummy!

Hotel ideally placed opposite the palaces of the popes. The charm of the old sometimes has its limits: Sound room: Sink next to the bed. I found the breakfast rather frugal.

Very disappointed for the whole hotel. Staff not at all listening, the boss keeps breaking his staff and seems in bad faith. We really feel like sleeping in the hallway or in the street so the room is very poorly insulated, so we hear very bad night (fortunately only one! ) And the last one.
Only good point the kitchen and its chef, very good dishes and a chef to the height, but it is well the only…
Does not deserve the three stars at all!

Annoyed home may be because it was 21:45, and the welcoming person was shutting down the restaurant! An elevator like never I could see as to the deplorable room: limestone, trickle… In short I would not return!

Charming hotel and full of character, a very competent and planning staff, "thanks to Gabriel" who prepares breakfast before the hour. To recommend for its style and position.

Well yes, the one that has been reserved must be without doubt the room that was once used for the "servitude". Old, dirty and no doubt the worst room I've slept in. Try to believe. I never would have thought that a hotel could accommodate in similar hovels. Shame.

Amazing hotel, great food and wonderful staff. Loved every minute!

When you see that we can well imagine that the Popes were not in need. Unfortunately the inside is empty but the visit worth the look. It's huge inside.

We could not enter with the baby carriage, but they have kept us truck and they have left us a backpack to carry the baby. It was very practical and fun for baby.
The istio is beautiful but the visit us has like a little "sad".

Hotel in a very central location, right on the square of the Popes ' Palace.
The parking lot of the hotel is fee (and not even so cheap)
Because of the location it is a bit difficult to have a quiet sleep.
Breakfast not included in the room rate, paid apart: nothing exceptional, pretty poor.

We stayed in this hotel on a quiet summer night in a room that faced the square outside. In the middle of the night we heard loud music and the sound of drunk partiers just below our window. Thinking it was just the big city (we live in NY), we ignored them and waited for them to pass. But after an hour we realized that it wasn't a group of transient partiers but the actual hotel night staff making all the noise. Furthermore, they were drunk, not covering the desk (we called down to ask WTF) and they were the ONLY people in the square at that hour. I went downstairs and berated the staff for their ignorance and terrible professionalism (what if someone was calling the desk with a heart attack? ) and the next morning I spoke to the owner. In typical French arrogance he blamed me for not staying at a better hotel and stated that he's not responsible for his staff's behaviour. Both arguments smacked of pure ignorance about how to run a hotel or provide customer service. The fact that he wouldn't accept Amex is a pretty sure sign that he can't handle a liason inquriing about his service. As for the rooms, they look unique but ultimately they are in poor condition and the hotel's mismanagement ruins the entire experience.
