Wonderful experience with digital touch of histopad.

I was dismayed. I went there in my early 20’s and was completely in love with the place. The big open plain courtyards and the Amazing murals. This time it was a nightmare even though I got a seniors discount for being over sixty. It was a nightmare with no vision clamouring through a stupid stage all black and steel. It was impossible to get any feel for the place. Every visitor hooked into a dam iPad with virtual reality. None of them seemed to look up to see where they actually were. There wasn’t even a plan anywhere where I could navigate my own way around. There seems to be a problem with museums in France now. Le palais idéal in hauterives has new art foist upon the art that people want to see. Simply the art and buildings we come to see. I’m an artist so I understand the importance of art. You can have a cultural precinct nearby. You can have concerts. Exhibitions performances etc nearby which would make travelling to the place more bountiful. But trashing your culture for a few bucks is so wrong.

Very beautiful city and the center of this city has a history. The people are welcoming.

Very nice visit, the idea of the headset and the iPad with the guided tour and the concept of seeing the pieces as at the time superb idea. I highly recommend without hesitation.

Fabulous! the histopad system is very good, children can navigate in order to review what they have not understood. Very well detailed, circuit of 2 hours very good for the patience of the children.
