Rooms really small and not clean. Showers are mody and very small. Chubby people. No Chance… We changed the hotel next day. Positive. Nice and friendly stuff…

Central location. Positive — in the circle about 900m all interesting sights to reach on foot. Negative — pedestrian zone. Very noisy around the clock. Staff speaks several languages, including German. Breakfast something expensive and not rich. Clean, but renovation is long overdue.

The location is in the heart of the city which is great! However, the room was extremely noisy. Staff was very polite and helpful and the breakfast was nice. But the room and the elevator were extremely small and the air smelled like something very old and dusty! Major downside is lack of refrigerator in the room! Could be a great place but desperately needs renovation!

Nice staff Decent bedding. Shower room not at all satisfactory, washbasin of another time, "Italian" shower with skimpy shower curtain. Positive Point: Central position in the city.

Very expensive for the warmth you find. The rooms without a 2 star in Spain. There is no common room and breakfast is enough, limited to priductos and very expensive.

Friendly team, rooms a little small but nice, downtown hotel with its pros but also its disadvantages. To visit the city ideally located. All for a more than perfect price.

Lobby looks like a hallway. Smell of supermarket fragrance in the hallways single room with one bed (so there is still! ) as a maid's room. Hard to move in the shower cubicle while I'm only one metre 60 for fifty kilos.

This room was very small. One quarter was taken up by 3 doors:- a small hanging space, the entrance door and the toilet/shower room door. (Room 307) it's is at best a single room. NOT a double. A shoe box with no pictures Not insulated again noise Small (very) hard double 'bed'. Kettle but no cups. Bad smell from tiny shower/toilet room Booked a 'cheap' night away … the double room was reduced to 79€ (worth 40€ at best) and 31€ for breakfast. We discovered after that breakfast is only 11€ per person so was overcharged an extra 10€ for booking online! We had arrived late & hungry after a long drive or would of insisted on being moved.

Excellent location but something just inside, although the room was fine.

What a shame to have 3 stars with this level of performance! To believe that the stars are not often controlled, because we can not think that today a shower tray of 60 cm by 60 cm with a low-end mixer and a shower curtain that comes to stick on you it's worth 3 stars! At the beginning of the 20th century Yes when it was rare to have a private shower… What does the state do? As for the smell that reigns in this hotel it is quite unbearable!

Very friendly staff. Clean hotel, right in the city center, so very convenient for conveniences. Compact rooms but well decorated, clean. Good free services (hot drinks in the room, luggage storage, Wi-Fi). Rich Breakfast Buffet.

Small and attic room with water damage on a Vélux; moved to an even smaller second room. Waiting half an hour in the street in the rain despite repeated ringing and calls because the receptionist could not hear. In short, a star is still too much.

I firstly want to state the location of this hotel is perfect, the only time I used transport in Bordeaux was to the airport and back, while there's a couple of places to see that are a longer walk (Darwin and the wine museum) everything else is within a few minutes walk, especially the shopping attractions, which means you never have to carry around bags of chocolate, from the many chocolatiers in Bordeuax… The staff were excellent, there was always a member of staff at the desk who spoke English (they also have Spanish speakers), they were extremely helpful, to the point that on my arrival after being lost in the rain, they allowed me to sit in the entrance way and use the Wifi until my room was ready — which was ready for me earlier than the check in time. After a faulty lock on my luggage meant I had to get new luggage, they directed me to the best and cheapest place to get a replacement, even marking the directions on a map for me, honestly do not have enough good things to say about the staff at this hotel. My room was adequately sized, and was very clean, this was the thing I was most worried about, I'm a very clean person, perhaps even slightly obsessive and I can not find any fault in the cleanliness of the hotel, my room was thoroughly cleaned each day and my possessions were not touched (I photographed my bag before leaving each day to assess this).

Well the place is located in the city center of Bordeaux, so its very easy to get there from the train station or to the airport (bus number1). Within 10 mins on foot to everywhere. The staff were nice, breakfast was okay and we felt great the whole time. The price for a double room was 90 Euros a night so I really recommend it The bathroom was a bit smelly I think the pipes and we heard the street a bit sometimes, even tho the sleep quality was great.

Very nice hotel, rather a bit worn but for the price and a short trip OK.

Three stars with a plus. The location of the hotel is very good — close to place Gambetta right in the entrée of the magnificent part of Bordeaux ' old Town. The airport is also easily accessible from here (bus 1 + from Gambetta Meriadeck). Rooms and bathrooms are clean, room service and staff at the 24-hour reception are attentive and friendly. The air-conditioned double rooms in the classicist old building are very small, the elevator very cramped, as well as the narrow entrance, a foyer is practically absent. If you order the room on the internet, everything will be more generous — but that also belongs to France and Bordeaux. Wi-fi is free, But if you are looking for generous comfort, you should book Elsewhere. Three stars are exactly three stars here — the living room in the centre of Bordeaux is more expensive than in Berlin — yet no one takes a few days of damage — on the contrary. If you want to stay relatively cheap and clean in the heart of one of the most beautiful old towns in Europe and not too fussy, the hotel will be happy!

I loved it but small bath.

This hotel has been over sold. Much smaller than expected. Shower and toilet tiny. In urgent need of redecoration. The so called business and lounge areas don't really exist. They are some seats in a corridor. Breakfast barely makes the grade of a continental style buffet. Very minimalist. Could be cleaner.

Small rooms but nice and cosy hotel in good location — it's the small things that make this hotel, like the brilliantly cheap portable Wi-Fi routers and free pick-n-mix at reception!

Staff very friendly and friendly room with air conditioning. Be careful not to open the window mosquitoes are on the lookout!

I had come a few years ago and had a very bad memory. This time is the right one, I will definitely never come back again.

The staff are smiling courteous and rider.
The bedding is of very good quality (and is not the basis of a hotel)

Important accuracy following the notices referring to the configuration of the rooms or the building in either. This hotel is set in an old Bordeaux bourgeois mansion, so it is obvious that the configuration of the places had to adapt to the building and not the opposite.
If you want well-square rooms go to a chain hotel on the highway edge.

Good location and comfortable, it is yet for other qualities that this hotel is particularly distinguished:
human warmth, kindness and perfect education, allied to a remarkable professionalism, are the prerogative of all members of the staff I have met!
I therefore regretted the brevity of my stay (3 nights) …
and I will return with great pleasure the hotel!

Small hotel in the heart of the historic center of Bordeaux. The location is perfect for shopping, visiting the historic center and jogging. Friendly, competent and helpful reception. Very good idea for the bar at candy as well as coffee and cold drinks and will! The room was small but clean. A not very pleasant smell in the hallway, the room and the elevator. The choice for breakfast was limited but sufficient. Breakfast staff very friendly. Parking space hard to find in the street but reduction of the hotel for the underground parking in very interesting face. €20 for 2 days instead of €60. Hotel recommend if this status is preserved.

Simple and very nice even though I had bad luck with a leap of fire alarm and a technician who came into my room unannounced when I rested. An apology would have been happy, but in reception or that.

Until I found the small entrance and has taken much too small lift with suitcases the lame, you get nice pretty clean rooms including air conditioning to the narrow price.
Free parking we have not found, did not belong to the hotel. Something tricky.
The breakfast room under the roof was too small and not air conditioned. In the summer, that's really no fun. After all, the selection was okay.
The reception desk is multilingual and very friendly. Prima. We would stay there again because of the good price performance ratio. Especially since the location is very central.

Small but well used and clean rooms. Very close to the Centre. Quality / price very good… Important discount that you make in the parking cencano if you take the ticket stamped by the hotel.

Awful, dirty, sheets with holes on them… hated to sleep there.
