Hotel

We stayed 4 nights in Hellsten parliament, we had the twin appartement. The service was unfortunately far worse than I've been used to. The hotel was hot, no air conditioning. The room has 7 windows, of which only one could be opened (due to the window handles being removed). We complained about this the first day (and on two more occasions), but no solution was presented. The hotel was clean and close to the Parliament.

A spacious and comfortable apartment that we very much enjoyed. So much better than a cramped hotel room and at a better price. It is clean and comfortable with the amenities of home. Cook your own food if you want though the kitchen is small. Located in a quiet neighbourhood not far from city center. We highly recommend this place.

Good place very adaptable to the daily life because with kitchen in room allows to prepare homemade meals. Very well located.

Good place to stay for a family or for a big group. Right in the city centre.

Great location, all major attractions within walking distance. Near railway and bus stations, shopping malls and supermarkets. There is everything you need for self-catering, which, given the prices in the restaurants of Helsinki, is important. The apartment is spacious, clean, decent view from the windows. The cost is humane. The lack of at least one Russian-language TV-channel was surprised, because Russians here are frequent visitors. The reception on holidays is no one, and okay:)

I love this place! Beautiful building, nice rooms (appartments), clean, quiet, relatively central and in a very nice zone. Have been there twice and would be back.

The overall experience was alright which is very good considering the price of the hotel. As a 3 star apartment hotel it offers what you need, though no breakfast or restaurant. The things I can complain about are in the details. Cleaning could be better, more than one showing towel could be offered, a bag of tea or instant coffee on the kitchen would be nice for a shorter visit, the kitchen ventilation whines, a leg on the table was crooked, a but too small shower and a few more lesser details. However, I enjoyed the stay. It was a good and spacious apartment, bed was good, quiet place in the nights, very close to central Helsinki and good pressure in the shower. For what it offered the value was great.

Clean in the family room, cleaning every 3 days, next to the park. At the reception are not very friendly people and do not work every day.

The hotel is located in a very central location, but is still quietly located. Walking distance to the tram stop approx. 10min and to the main train station approx. 20min.
The rooms are large and spacious. Unfortunately, the décor and the appearance are very well Lived. (windows cannot be opened, lamps are defective, rubbish from the predecessor in the room, generally not a good cleaning condition). The rooms are not cleaned, only after departure and its rubbish you have to dispose of your own Responsibility. Staff was always helpful and nice. You can wait for the location at the price yet too much.

Terrible place. Room stunk of cigarettes, no water in room, not too clean; woke up Saturday 8am and absolutely no coffee anywhere to be had! Even in the neighborhood. Shower gel was cheap and at least they had a towel. Will not go back.

When you sleep in the appartment with extra person there is a 20EUR extra charge per night, towels were old and smelled after one day and no one came to clean. A bit overpriced for value. The extra bed, had a quality of the bed you usually give to guests that stay in your house, but you don't really like. Very thin matrass and low quality. One thing to like: the kitchen in the apparment was actually good!

My partner and I stayed here on our first visit to Helsinki, and found the staff friendly and helpful. The room that we stayed in, a self-contained apartment, was very nice — reasonably spacious with great facilities. The location of the hotel is also quite good, close to public transport, cafés and other points of interest.

Really spacious, friendly staff. Had a slight issue on the first night and were happy to accommodate us. Good location for central Helsinki being a 15 minute walk away. Self catering facilities limited but adequate for 2 people.

Well-equipped mini apartments with excellent facilities: kitchen corner, dining table, desk as well as comfy beds in a spacious room. Also use of a laundry and a sauna. Recommended.

If you want to work in your room it is impossible the Wi-Fi was not working. The apartment was comfortable with a very small bathroom. The value for money is good (65 euros). No possibility of breakfast. Close to the city center. A little rundown.

The price for the size of the room was OK. The bathroom and kitchen area in the room could have been cleaner. The atmosphere of the apartment-hotel is quite cold.

This is a nice little apartment style hotel. It is not a traditional hotel in the sense that they do not have daily housekeeping. It is within easy walking distance to everything you would want to see and visit in Helsinki.

Great value for money. Suitable for both families and kids. The apartment is equipped with kitchenette, fridge, microwave and kitchenware. Small bathroom with shower, the furniture is bright, with wooden floors and large Windows. Free internet connection but only with ethernet cable, no Wi-Fi. Reception very friendly and courteous.

The room was not very clean. In six days they cleaned only once.
