Again such a wonderful stay in Hotel Haven, really enjoyed the cosy & luxurious interior and good service. Peaceful location, excellent bed and delicious breakfast: best Carelian pastys in town and other dishes of high quality. I'm coming back.

Spoke with the general manager Mikamakkonen and he was absolutely unhelpful in my companies wishes to cancel our hotel reservation. We even offered to pay a penalty. He also stated that if we did not use the rooms, to which we have fully paid for, he would still rent out the rooms to other guests. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! There are other nice hotels in the area that provide better customer service.

Very Cozy Small Luxury Hotel. Food was Excellent!. Staff were very Friendly, Helpful & Cooperative. Location is also great as it’s close to the City Centre and many places of interest are within walking distance or very accessible using public transport.

The lobby bar probably has the best whiskey selection in Helsinki.

It's very rare for me to say it, but the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended, and will definitely return soon.

The hotel itself is very fancy in its interior design and presentation, from the lobby to the elevators and down to the rooms. The location of the hotel is great for anyone whose purpose is to visit the downtown of Helsinki and enjoy its vibrant energies as well as the lively nightlife. The room itself was cozy and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, but the sole window made for a poor view and gave a bit of a feeling of a 'budget room'. The staff was very professional, and the breakfast was very tasty and with a big variety of options. Where this hotel falls short, I feel, is that it sets very high standards to itself with the proclamation of it being a "5-star boutique" hotel, and yet the rooms, the service, the breakfast and the other services offered were easily equal or topped off by other 4-star hotels (and even a few 3-star hotels) which I have visited. I believe that when visiting such a place and paying the appropriate price, the standards should be met and not matched to cheaper options which end up being as good or even better. It was a very nice visit and and interesting experience ultimately, but next visit, I'll pay less for as good an experience with all of the features which I described above still met and even topped.

The hotel does not meet the stated 5 degrees. Breakfasts are scarce. I liked the room. The view from the harbour window in the restaurant during breakfast is but it's not enough at such room cost.

Great boutique hotel. The staff were amazing, always smiling and ready to help. The location for all things Helsinki is just perfect. Our room was great with a small view of the harbour, which was especially nice from the bathroom. At 3am looking out on the harbour when it's not dark is special. I would highly recommend the Haven Hotel.

For Helsinki it is quite good, one of the best places.

A wonderful boutique hotel right next door to the Old Market and across the road from Market square. Close to the Esplanade too. Beautiful rooms, great amenities, breakfast is great in beautiful, historic rooms. Friendly, helpful service. Great views from their Harbour rooms.

Wonderful rooms, nice and professional service, good breakfast and beautiful interiors. The hotel is also in a great central location with the boat to Sveaborg just around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice hotel. You can't go wrong staying at either the Hotel Kamp or Hotel Haven. Both locations are central to the city and very nice.

Amazing hotel just across the road from the Old Market Hall at Kaupattori. Also a short walk to the Suomenlinna ferry stop. Rooms are spacious and service is warm and friendly. Was here on my honeymoon and got pleasantly surprised with a small pack of chocolate candies. Breakfast was the only downside with only a small unchanging selection but it did the job to help us start the day. Overall awesome end to our honeymoon!

Lovely small luxe hotel. Gorgeous room (201) with every extra imaginable. Superb staff and fab bar/lounge. Felt like a private club — whisky selection like no other!

Stayed here over Christmas and the room was big and very nice, good breakfast buffet with plenty of variety. Love the location too, in the heart of the city, across the street from the Old Market Hall.

Very nice perfect hotel for excursions, sight seeing and shopping. Rooms with Harbour View absolutely recommended. Price/performance is right. Front desk is doing a great job. Very helpful and always friendly. A hotel to feel good.

Nice beds and fresh rooms. For once a hotel that has reasonably sized shampoo and conditioner containers. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast could be improved. Most was there but some things could be added to make it reach the top.

Lovely hotel though of course not cheap at about €150/night. Bed amazingly comfortable and breakfast buffet is excellent. Staff very helpful. Location is fantastic, takes only a couple of minutes to walk to the market square and the Suomenlinna ferry. Very well decorated for Christmas. Only had a minor issue with the iron in the room that was resolved very quickly.

Heritage Building. Excellent location and very good accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Love Haven's service and their rooms. Staff in reception will bend over backwards to find solutions to customer's problems and in co-operation with local service operators things work out perfectly. More than happy to recommend this hotel to my friends visiting Helsinki and it is always a joy to work with the wonderful people at Haven. =)

Good overall hotel. Nicely furnished rooms. Great bar, okay restaurant. Location is outstanding if you want to be near the design district.

I can't comment on the hotel itself, but the Bar Haven is the best whisky Bar in town. The bartender Jani is really Professional and can give really good recommendations. Highly recommended.

Sympatique, friendly and just lovely! Location in a peacefull, seafront place in the heart of the city. Opposite side Market Square, Old Market Hall and a Day cruise ships to Tallinn, Estonia or Helsinki sight-seeing cruises.

Only visiting as conference guest, but really excellent buffet lunch. They also have very nice lounge bar for crowning the night.

A wonderful location in the very downtown of Helsinki. The staff was very helpful with information and reservations. Breakfast is served in an old buildingo overlooking the port and has a great selection to start your day right. Our room was the biggest room I have even had in a hotel. Apart from a king size bed and desk we also had a dining table with 4 chairs and a sofa and two chairs with a coffee table between them.

Best place to have absinthe in Helsinki. Absinthe is server correctly with water fountain.

Asians are not welcomed here. Racist and snobbish policy.

Best hotel in town. That simple. Very nice lobby bar, and the Lux rooms with the view are big, light and just simply good! Without the view they do lose quite a bit of the good things, though.

The room looks great, but there are stains in many fabrics. The table is scratched badly and the TV works pretty slowly. Otherwise the room feels like being at home.

What a fabulous hotel! When we stayed it wasn't completely finished (gym+ downstairs) but this didn't matter at all. We were able to take advantage of the American Express promotion and were upgraded to a Suite Room with a view of the harbour. Staff were very welcoming and not arrogant at all but willing to help and tell us places to go. The room has an incredible bed and shower. Breakfast was served in one of the in house restaraunts (open just a week and a half when we stayed! ) Five stars. Would stay again any time.
