Beta Guesthouse

I Had an amazing stay at Beta Guesthouse! The rooms were super clean and cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great, easy to get around, and the atmosphere is really welcoming. Breakfast was tasty too. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable and affordable guesthouse to stay in Addis Ababa.

I am very disappointed with my recent experience at this guest house. I had booked the penthouse room a week in advance, but to my surprise, it was given to someone else before I even arrived – and I wasn’t informed until I followed up myself.
When I asked why, I was given conflicting explanations. First, I was told it was because I hadn’t paid the security deposit or daily rate in advance. However, during the booking, I was clearly informed that payment could be made one day before check-in. Then, the supervisor claimed I had said I would be arriving ten days later than initially agreed – something I never said. In fact, I never received any call from them at all.
This lack of professionalism and unreliable communication made the whole experience extremely frustrating. I had trusted them with my plans, but the way they handled the situation was disappointing. I hope they improve their booking and communication systems so others don’t go through the same thing.

I stayed in Beta Guesthouse and found it to be exceedingly clean and comfy. I recommend this guesthouse for a pleasant night's sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning.
