Cot Hotel

We stayed at Averi Hotel as a family of four for 25 wonderful days, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The hotel offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The surroundings are quiet and child-friendly, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind.
What stood out the most was the warm welcome we received upon arrival — we felt genuinely cared for from the very beginning. The service is top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff.
The team was exceptional — always available, attentive, and eager to assist with anything we needed.
The rooms were spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, which we truly appreciated.
Another great advantage of Averi Hotel is its location. It’s close to everything you might need and this made getting around very convenient for us.
We highly recommend Averi Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, business — or family-friendly getaway with outstanding service, a warm atmosphere, and a great location.
It’s a place we would gladly return to.

I received first-class service from the moment I arrived at the hotel until the moment I left. The prime location of the hotel is a big plus. The facilities were top-notch, and the view from my room was simply stunning. I have stayed at a dozen hotels. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The friendly and helpful staff were there for every need of mine. My Amharic isn’t that good so. It helps a lot that the manager Mike spoke fluent English and he was very helpful with everything I need it. Thank you so much.

I heard a lot of good things about this place from friends, but today it completely disappointed me.
I had an urgent meeting and chose it because it was the closest option. After ordering, I took out my laptop to join the call. A waiter immediately came over and told me laptops are banned because of a “new policy. ”
Banning laptops in 2025 makes no sense. It ruined both my meeting and my impression of the place.
I don’t recommend it for anyone who expects a modern setup.
They seriously need to rethink and improve their policies.

I usually go to Cot to work when I don't have power at home. It's a quiet place that helps me concentrate. On weekends, I often visit Cot to watch football games with friends. Since it’s located nearby, I also meet my business partners and friends there. Aside from their Wi-Fi connectivity, everything is quite enjoyable. If you are a sandwich lover, I highly recommend you their chicken sandwich.

I recently attended an event at Cot Hotel, and I must say, the experience was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, always ready to assist with a smile. The food served was absolutely delightful and added to the overall positive experience.

Cot Hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor. Neat and simple, the ambiance is welcoming and not overwhelming. The food is healthy, tasty, and simple. The Shiro and salad are reminiscent of a wholesome, home cooked meal. The servers are polite and attentive. They will allow you your privacy should you wish to be left alone … a nice nook.

Parking is a bit if an issue, but I liked their room. Clean and well maintained. 👌🏿

My shower was blocked! TV did not work. Dinner service was slow, and food came out cold. For a Transit hotel I do not recommend this hotel if all you want is a good night to rest before continuing your travels.

Me and my husband had a great stay at Cot. The staff are so nice, helpful. The hotel room is very spacious and comfortable. The lounge up stairs is a convenient and great spot to set meet ups with friends for long staying guests like I was. Overall great experience.

Very nice clean hotel with good amenities. The service is good and the staff are very friendly. However the Wi-Fi on. The 3rd floor does not work.

Had a great experience here, the reception was great, the room design is very modern and clean. It doesn't have air-conditioning like other hotels in Addis Ababa I've been to. It would be nice to have a soap holder in the bathroom though 😉
